This was my jacket potato. It was rather small and was microwaved. The kids had fish and chips which they didn't really eat as they weren't nice. The service was bad, the staff seemed more interested in themselves than customers. I assume the place employes young staff to keep the wage bill down, but that's a false economy as they are bad. I wouldn't eat here again. And would suggest if your reading this that you don't either.
Went in here for pie nd chips ???? .honestly I felt like my pie had been under the hot lights all day long,the full crust was as crunchy as a mouth full of gravel uuurgh awful mince pie ???? absolutely nasty ????☹️ didn't enjoy that ..

The children's portions are huge, too big for my kids and big enough for adults which saves money and waste.
We always visit on Christmas eve and although busy they get through the queue fairly quickly. Food for us has always been freshly cooked and tasty (we order fish bites with chips and a curry sauce).

After a nice walk on the beach with my dogs I thought I’d stop for some fish and chips— bad mistake.. the quality of both fish and potatoes was very poor.. they tasted awful and very dead. Such a great location.. they need to buck up their ideas
Hygiene gets zero. Filthy tables. Sandwich was full of blue mold. Staff made excuse of just started shift and was quite rude. When complaining how we could get ill from filth in place and toilets. They were arguing that that wasn't their job. Hygiene rate on window shows a 5 star. Whom got paid to state that?
I was surprised this is a HALF fish and chips. It looks like the whole meal tbh ???? nothing beats fish&chips after the Great North Run 2022 half Marathon ????
The worst fish and chips I’ve ever had. Looking into the kitchen from standing in the que was disgusting too, chips all over the floor, spillages all over the counter that the staff were putting the fresh boxes on top of. ????the blonde lady who served us at the takeaway bar was coughing all over without Ive ring her hands. Made me feel sick.
The chips were like cardboard, the gravy tasted of nothing. The only think my husband could taste was the Vinegar on his fish.
Seriously don’t go there. Worst £21.60 I’ve ever spent.
