The Nail Avenue Pooler place has received mixed reviews from customers, with both positive and negative experiences shared. In order to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the salon, we will analyze the comments provided.
One of the main strengths mentioned by customers is the quality of service provided by specific technicians. Similarly, Victoria and Luis were recognized for their skills in performing manicures and nails. These positive experiences highlight the expertise and professionalism of some of the staff members at The Nail Avenue Pooler place.
Another strength mentioned by a customer is the relaxing and enjoyable environment. The experience of getting a pedicure is often associated with relaxation and pampering, and the salon was able to provide this atmosphere to some customers. One customer specifically mentioned that the young lady who performed their pedicure did an excellent job, particularly in the massage aspect. This suggests that the salon is capable of creating a calming and enjoyable experience for its clients.
However, several customers shared negative experiences, highlighting several weaknesses within the establishment. One recurring issue was the lack of cleanliness and attention to detail by some technicians. There were complaints about discolored and poorly shaped nails, as well as gel or acrylic residue left on customers' nails. These issues indicate a lack of attention to detail and poor execution of nails services.
Additionally, some customers raised concerns about the behavior of the salon owners. One customer observed yelling between the husband and wife who run the salon. This creates an uncomfortable atmosphere for customers and suggests unprofessional conduct. Furthermore, the wife was witnessed spanking her children, creating a disruptive and unsettling environment. These behaviors are unprofessional and reflect poorly on the salon as a whole.
Another weakness mentioned by customers is the issue of overcharging and unsatisfactory services. One customer was upset about being charged the adult price for her children's pedicures, which she felt was unfair. Additionally, several customers expressed dissatisfaction with the quality of their nail services, including smudged, chipped, or incomplete polish shortly after leaving the salon. These issues demonstrate a lack of attention to customer satisfaction and proper execution of services.
Based on the comments provided, it can be concluded that The Nail Avenue Pooler place has both strengths and weaknesses. The strengths include skilled technicians who provide quality services, as well as a relaxing and enjoyable environment. However, weaknesses include issues with cleanliness, unprofessional behavior of the salon owners, and problems with overcharging and subpar services. I got my nails done this morning and didn’t get a chance to really inspect them until I got him one so that’s on me… But I got the “dip” gel nails which was applied with a wet brush (similar to acrylic). Several of the nails are discolored. I asked for almond shape and got whatever atrocity this is. Acrylic/gel is caked under several of my nails and all around them.. Called to see what they could do and was just yelled at saying they do not do refunds but could probably clean up the nails if I come back in. So disappointed. Absolutely do not recommend.
They are nice but I went there on Saturday 5/23 and went a got a pedicure for daughters and I and I don’t think I should have paid adult price for children under the age 10 that was just ridiculous. Second I normal take showers but I decided to take a bath this morning and relax because my knee was bothering me. Well the the polish started turning colors I am very upset and this will be last time going there. Not sure why it ended up like this but I have had plenty of pedicures and never has this happen to me.
The moment I walked in I could tell something was off. I think it’s a husband/wife team and they had their 3 little kids with them. I was the only customer on a Thursday morning. The guy got the foot spa setup for me. Then he started sweeping and yelling at the top of his lungs at his wife. She never looked up at him. He just keeps yelling. I felt uncomfortable and should have left. But I didn’t. He did an ok pedicure but it could have been better. He did a nice leg massage but never touched my feet. His wife came over to do my mani and as nice as she was, the manicure was horrible. I just had her buff them. While waiting for my toes to dry, the lady went in the back and spanks all 3 kids. So you’re sitting there for what she be a comfortable experience, with dad yelling at mom, and mom spanking her children and children crying. $65 for the worst experience.
Yesterday was my 40th birthday and this nail salon was so good with my daughter last time so my sister, my daughter and I booked a 2pm appt making sure there was enough people that all of us could be done together. The lady said yes. We arrived and only two people there. Everything was fine. We picked out deluxe mani pedis for us and a kids pedi and finger polish for my 4 year old. The man made my daughter cry unconditionally. It took me forever to calm her down. She had ruined 2 toes because she was so upset and he said he wouldn't fix them because she didn't listen. We also did not get what we wanted which was a deluxe. When he took my feet out of the water he made a rude remark and said I need to go to the doctor because my skin was flakey. They rushed us but still took 2 hrs as they were taking people between us and didn't even finish my sister's toes. We were charged $133 for this. After a few hrs of leaving our nail polish was already smudged, chipped or completely gone. I was so upset as it was my 40th bday. Won't go back and was upset at the price for such a horrible rushed not finished experience
My husband and I went together for Mani/pedis.
Tiffany did such an amazing job on my husband's feet. He is diabetic and she was wonderful. Victoria did mine and did a great job. Luis was amazingly quick and did an absolute stunning job on my nails..
You should check them out
I went to get a fill-in. First time there. The guy burning my nails with drill numerous of times I had to pull away constantly. He's falling asleep while, working on my nails. The gel polish is really a hot mess bumpy, polish all on side of nails uneven filing. Just a waste of time going there. ????$35 going down the drain.
I came in the day before Christmas Eve there were three lady’s working but they were hard at it. This was my first time stopping in and I knew there would be a wait but I’m patient so they set me up in the chair to soak my feet and I waited. When the young lady got to me she did a fantastic job. I’m all about the massage that comes with a pedicure and she did an awesome job. I will be returning from now on. So glad I took a chance on a new place.
I will never return.. I should have known better when I saw no other customers.
