Quick Facts About The Nail Creations

The Nail Creations place has a mix of positive and negative comments, which provide insight into its strengths and weaknesses.
Starting with the strengths, one customer mentions that the salon is as clean as most nail salons and has a pleasant interior. This shows that the cleanliness and aesthetic appeal of the salon are positive aspects. Another customer highlights the skillfulness of a specific nail technician, Shanique, praising her for her gentle approach and attention to detail. This indicates that the salon employs skilled professionals who can provide quality services to customers.
Additionally, a recurring comment is the good quality of the nails. Multiple customers mention that their nails turned out good and they were satisfied with the outcome. This suggests that the salon can deliver satisfactory results and meet customers' expectations in terms of nail treatments.
On the other hand, the salon also faces some weaknesses, as indicated by the negative comments. One customer expresses disappointment with the customer service, alleging racist behavior and poor treatment based on their race. This raises concerns about the professionalism and fairness of the staff, which can be a significant weakness for any business. Several other negative reviews also highlight issues with the customer service, such as rude and disrespectful behavior from the staff and a lack of proper communication regarding appointments. These comments reflect negatively on the overall customer experience and can deter potential customers from visiting the salon.
Another weakness mentioned is the long waiting time experienced by some customers, despite having made appointments. Waiting for extended periods can be frustrating and inconvenient for customers, particularly if they have time constraints or important events to attend. This reflects an issue with the salon's scheduling and time management, suggesting a need for improvement in this regard.
Furthermore, one customer shares an experience where they were asked to pay for an undercharged service from a previous appointment, which they found to be handled rudely and disrespectfully. This incident demonstrates a lack of professionalism and customer-oriented approach, as the customer was made to feel guilty for a mistake made by the salon. Such behavior can significantly impact customer satisfaction and loyalty.
In summary, The Nail Creations place has strengths in terms of cleanliness, aesthetic appeal, and the skillfulness of some nail technicians. Customers have expressed satisfaction with the quality of the nail treatments. However, the salon faces weaknesses relating to customer service issues, including allegations of racism, poor communication, and rude behavior. There are also concerns about long waiting times and a lack of professionalism in handling mistakes and customer concerns. These weaknesses can potentially harm the salon's reputation and customer base.

Best TL Reviews

I like this place overall. Sometimes the news is on and that certainly makes getting one’s nails done unenjoyable. But usually the volume is down. It’s as clean as most nail salons. Prettier inside than many in the area. My nails turn out good.
Very racist poor customer service. Everytime i come they can't take me but i sat in my car and watched them take another walk in (white lady) i asked her if she had an appointment she said no. I told everyone don't go here.
Honestly I'm not sure if I should give two stars. We were walk ins and were told we had to wait 30 minutes. We were there 3 hours. I asked for simple red nails and they were terrible. They were thick and uneven and nails weren't even the same length. They literally looked like clown nails and I had to go to another shop to have them fixed. I wish we had a better experience. My mother in law wanted almond nails and showed a photo and they were cut almost triangles, not what she wanted either.
Kim is the best there is. A lot of these bad reviews are based off of people being told they are booked and they stay booked so that’s true. I learned quickly you need to make an appt.
I was a loyal customer to this nail salon until recently. I went in to get my nails done for an appointment that I set up and at that appointment the nail tech explained to me that 6 WEEKS ago at my last appointment she undercharged me and that she wanted to add it to my services for this appointment. Her approach was rude and disrespectful. She tried to make me feel guilty for a mistake she made and her managers supported her disrespect toward me. I am still trying to processing what was said to me and how rudely I was treated for a mistake that I did not make. I HIGHLY recommend to find anywhere else to go but here!
Shanique is such a kind and skilled nail tech. She is gentle but does a thorough job getting nails and cuticles even and smooth. I recently had a serious knee injury and she was so thoughtful and conscientious not to hurt my knee. I get the OPI pedicure that includes leg mask, massage and hot towels. So relaxing!
I have not personally experienced any rudeness of staff. The spa has always been clean.
Made an appt weeks ago for my bridal party- arrived at 5:30-my appt time, was told it was at 5:00. Would not have mattered because they had a wait time and told me I would have had to wait anyway..:with an appt. one of my bridesmaids they didnt even write down so they weren’t going to do hers. My wedding is Saturday and I had to scramble to find a solution. LUCKLY T and Y nails on west Martin town rd saved the day and will be getting my business from now on!
I have been a customer for a long time. My appointments are always at 5:30 with the same person. Today 6/2/21, I arrived at 5:20. I was skipped over for someone who did not have an appointment. When I asked the manager about my appointment she said I was in the book but my technician didn't write her name in the book so they just skipped me. She said I could leave and go somewhere else because otherwise I would have to wait on my technician to finish with the person who didn't have an appointment. This is my last time being a patron of this establishment. I have already scheduled an appointment with The Nail Studio next to Subway in North Augusta. Telling someone who just got off work, hasn't had dinner yet and had an appointment, was on time for that appointment, that they would just have to wait. That is a pitiful way to do business.
I just saw the post made by the same lady, manager. The individual who was taken before me actually entered the store about 5 minutes after I did. I could have been rude or ugly and caused a scene but instead, needing to get the nails done and not having another opportunity this week to do so, I waited and waited patiently. I passed the time speaking with another lady. My appt. finally began at 6:30 pm. I left there at 8:08, one hour after the salon closes. I was "skipped over" and my technician, being very sweet, apologized profusely for the error which she admitted was hers. I would have continued going to this salon just for my technician because I do like her and she is very nice, however, the lady that told me I would have to "just wait" is incorrect. I was indeed "skipped over". What further is incorrect about this, instead of apologizing, because I was there on time and this issue was not of my creating, I am made to feel like it is my fault. Also, instead of offering an apology either in person or in the response to this post, and just own up to the mistake, I was again told that nothing was wrong by what the salon did. Let me be clear, had the manager handled it better, offered an apology at the beginning, I would have never issued the review or been critical in anyway. All it took was her saying I am so very sorry, it was an error and we are going to get you taken care of right away. The least they could have done, because she said no one else could do the work because I always see the same person, was at least start soaking the SNS off and put me at a chair with my feet soaking. It would have far sped up the wait and we would not have been there until 8:08pm. It was simple, and it would have expressed to me that I as a customer was valued, instead the message I received was my money is the only thing that matters and if I want my nails done at Nail creations then I should just accept anyway I am treated by the staff.
