I would give a 0 if I could. For me, I got a gel pedicure and told them in advance that I had a big tear on my big toe nail and I was assured they would fix it but 2 days later half my nail tore off. Also gel manicure and before on week it was peeling, the design was supposed to be a cute cherry design , showed a picture and he did a horrible job. My stepdaughter got nail designs on her nails for her trip to Florida the next day and the put the designs on certain fingers on the right hand and different fingers on the left. We had no time to stick around . What a waste of $180!! The picture is of my nails exactly on week later. Designs are horrible !!!
Terrible service!! Thought I was getting a nice set of birthday nails but I ended up walking out with a pair of tic tacs !!!! After the lady filed my nails “down” to her “liking” I asked if she could file more! This lady started shaking like a chihuahua after I politely asked her to file them down a bit more because I dont like them that way! If a customer is paying outta pocket why get nasty with them? I left it alone because obviously the lady has some mental health issues that need resolved. Needless to say I will be learning how to do my own nails.
I’ve been going here consistently for about a year now. I see the owner. (She’s on the first 2 desks by the cash register and often answers the phone.) She is amazing! My nails come out perfect every time.
Call ahead and set an appointment with her though. She’s usually booked up!
I went there on a Wednesday for an acrylic fill-in and had to go back that Friday for them to repair three nails that chipped at the corners. Now on the following Monday less than a week’s time another nail is chipped on the corner and one of the repaired nails has a bubble. The technician questioned me about why I wanted two different colors on my nails. He then proceeded to tell me to pick another color because he couldn’t do the colors I wanted. He burned a couple of my fingers with the nail filer. He kept jerking my hands and trying to twist them in an unusual way. I will never go back there ever again.
This was my first time getting a pedicure in over 16 yrs and it was a terrible experience! My step daughter treated me and has gone here and spent tons of money but we only wanted regular pedicures with regular polish. It seems as soon as we said that their attitudes completely changed towards us. They were rude and they rushed the pedicures. I will not be patronizing this place again.
Horrible Experience. Took my 16 year old in for first time today for gel paint on nails and a pedi. They asked if she wanted a mani. She did not She just wanted the pedicure and gel paint. Later they began to soak fingers in bowl of water. I told them she didn’t want a mani. They continued. Three times we told them no, and they kept doing it. The third time i told them No, the lady told me to relax! Then they of course tried to charge us. I argued with them that we told them three times no and they chose not to listen. My daughter (limited funds) paid the bill as she was emabarassed and i told her not to tip.
Saying No three times mean No. Once means NO. Trying to take advantage of a young teen is ridiculous. Never going back. Two others in there at the same time said it was their first time there and the last time too.
For the most part I enjoyed the experience while I was in the salon. It was quiet, the hot wax and towels felt amazing, and the massage chairs were relaxing. It seemed like a pretty standard pedicure. I paid $15 extra to get gel polish on my toenails since the person at the desk swore it would last longer than regular polish. However the person who painted my nails that day rushed between coats because an appointment came in right after us, and unfortunately that meant that my pedicure was ruined by the time I got home since the only layer that got a chance to dry was the last one. My pedicure was ruined when I got home and chipped off over the next few days.
I do not doubt the skills of these people... However, Don't you just HATE when you go in for a service and they really don't give. Scrap about what you want? And want to give you what is easier for them! I want my nails shorter! And then the whole Vietnamese starts to emerge. This is such unethical customer service practice.
I am pretty judge when it comes to customer service... If I am paying the price you are requesting, give me the best customer service you should offer!
Not sure I would recommend this place, despite the more reasonable prices.
