Showed a picture of my old haircut that I wanted and it was pretty long but they cut it wayyyyyyy shorter than it was supposed to be. Didn’t even get to see my hair being cut. One of the worst haircuts I’ve gotten.
I requested Toby to do my haircut and it was the best haircut of my life. He spent a lot of time on detail and it looks amazing, almost identical to the picture I showed him. Just make sure you have either cash or Venmo because they don’t accept credit card.
Update: Toby is great but he went on a leave so I decided to try my luck with Cody. I couldn’t be happier, he gives great haircuts as well and is an amazing dude to talk to. It feels like the half hour haircut is only 10 minutes because of how easy it is to talk to him. His capabilities for haircuts are also unmatched just like Toby. These are the only two people I’ve had a haircut from and I’ve decided I’m never going to a different barber shop.

It may appear that this is an advertisement for Japan or scantily clad man but its not! My baby boy got a haircut at Shaky Razor and I think they did an amazing job. My bf’s notoriously picky about his hair and even he loved the cut and buzz.

Under covid19 restrictions my old hair cutter in alameda county got shut down indefinitely and I have been waiting for about two months for a chance to get a ????♂️ haircut. On Friday new covid19 rules in contra costa county provided an opportunity for me to find a hair cutter and my goggle search found the Shaky Razor Barbershop in San Ramon open. I came in without an appointment and the receptionist helped to find a open chair for me in spite of this. Cody took care of me, asked me what kind of cut I needed, and worked diligently to help me find satisfaction. 20 minutes later I had my first fresh haircut in two months and I got back on my bike ???? and cranked back home a happy ???? man.

I won't be back. Most boring barber shop I've ever visited. Not one of the employees made any attempt to converse with their customers. They only talked amongst themselves. One of the barbers had hair unswept under his chair from at least four different haircuts. What left a really poor taste in my mouth was the price gouge at the end. A full ten dollars more than what was quoted to me and the explanation was contrary to the service that I received. When I explained this to the cashier/manager she quickly changed what she said, no concern and no integrity or customer service. I feel ripped off and I also feel this place should be avoided like the plague. Definitely the most boring haircut I've ever received hands down.
