Quick Facts About The Ship Inn Conyer

The Ship Inn Conyer has several strengths that contribute to its positive reputation. First and foremost, guests appreciate the "tolles, uriges Ambiente" (great, cozy atmosphere) that the pub provides. This creates a welcoming and comfortable environment for visitors to enjoy their meals and drinks. The pub also has a lovely beer garden, which is described as a "sun trap" and provides a perfect place to sit and eat outside in the sun. This is particularly appreciated during the warmer weather, and many people enjoy sitting outside and taking in the peaceful surroundings of the Hamlet of Conyer.
The food at The Ship Inn is another strength mentioned by customers. Dishes such as the Wild Boar hot dog, chips, Mediterranean tart, and chips are described as "beautiful" and "delicious." The menu overall is seen as appetizing and well-priced, making it an appealing choice for both locals and visitors. There are also special dishes of the day, which add excitement and variety to the menu. Additionally, the pub offers a good selection of food for kids, demonstrating that it is a family-friendly establishment.
Many customers also appreciate the location of The Ship Inn. It is surrounded by incredible countryside, making it a great base for exploring the area by bike or on foot. Despite these strengths, there are a few weaknesses that have been mentioned by customers. One customer noted that the food was a little expensive for what it was. They specifically mentioned the Ham Egg & Chips dish, which they found to be underwhelming. The portion size and quality of the ingredients did not meet their expectations given the price paid. However, they still found it tasty and enjoyed their experience overall. Another comment mentioned that the pub is a bit of a trek to reach, which may be a minor inconvenience for some visitors.
In conclusion, The Ship Inn Conyer has several strengths that contribute to its positive reputation. The cozy atmosphere, lovely beer garden, delicious food, and friendly staff all stand out as highlights. The pub's location in a beautiful setting and its dog-friendly policy also add to its appeal. Tolles, uriges Ambiente gepaart mit sehr leckeren essen
Lovely garden and the perfect place to fuel up for cycling locally. We had Wild Boar hot dog and chips and mediterranean tart and chips and both were beautiful. Perfect place to sit and eat out in the sun.
Tucked away in the peaceful Hamlet of Conyer is this gem of a pub. The inside is definitely decent enough, but we like going there when the weather is warmer and sitting outside.
We didn't eat during our last visit, but we looked at the menu and decided that we would return soon and try the food which looked appetising and seemed well priced.
The Ship is surrounded by some incredible countryside and it is well worth exploring by bike or taking a walk around the area. It is a dog friendly pub and a lot of people stop off there whilst taking their dogs for walkies.
Lovely little pub and quaint beer garden which is a sun trap. Found the food a little expensive for what it was. The Ham Egg & Chips was exactly as it said on the tin. 2 thin slices of cold precut ham, frozen chips & 1 small egg. A little disappointing, but it was tasty and filled a hole. Was hoping for a nice cut of ham and homemade chips for the price paid + maybe 2 eggs? Either way, it was very clean, friendly and a pleasant place to be.
The specials of the day looked exciting. Will probably go for that next time & there was a good kids selection.
Bit of a trek but worth it. Nice cosy pub and if you're lucky enough to get the table with 3 seats halfway up the stairs, you can enjoy a lovely pint of ghost ship looking out over the boats moored up outside.
Very nice pub after a walk from Faversham.
Excellent small Sunday lunch, friendly staff, lovely pub in a great location.
First visit and we loved the attention to every detail. Food was delicious, lots of thought had gone into its presentation and service was great. We were even surprised to find a live band which was an added bonus. Planning to go again and take a stroll around first as it's in a beautiful setting. Would highly recommend.
