Quick Facts About The Sky Nails & Spa
Strengths:
1. Reasonable pricing: One commenter mentioned that the prices at The Sky Nails & Spa were reasonable, which could be a strength for the salon. Affordable pricing can attract customers who are looking for quality services at a lower cost.
2. Friendly and attentive staff: Another commenter had a positive experience with the staff, stating that they were friendly and made them feel beautiful and taken care of. Excellent customer service can be a significant strength for any business, as it encourages customer loyalty and positive word-of-mouth.
3. Good pedicure service: One customer specifically mentioned that their pedicure was great and left their skin smoother and moisturized. Consistently delivering high-quality pedicures can be a strength for The Sky Nails & Spa and a reason for customers to return.
Weaknesses:
1. Poor cleanliness and hygiene: Multiple reviewers commented on the salon's cleanliness and hygiene issues, mentioning dirty tables, tools, and chairs. These comments indicate that the salon may have a cleanliness problem, which can significantly impact the customer's perception of the business and lead to negative reviews.
2. Inconsistent services: One customer mentioned that their gel polish started chipping a few days later, and within a week, the entire polish came off. Inconsistent services can be a weakness for The Sky Nails & Spa, as customers expect long-lasting and well-applied manicures and pedicures.
3. Lack of communication and understanding: A few commenters expressed frustration with the salon's inability to understand their preferences. In one instance, the salon repeatedly failed to achieve the desired nail shape, and in another case, there was a miscommunication regarding the type of polish used. Difficulty in communication can lead to customer dissatisfaction and may result in negative reviews.
4. Unprofessional behavior: Multiple reviewers mentioned unprofessional behavior from the salon staff, such as being on the phone during services and arguing loudly in a foreign language. Unprofessional conduct can make customers feel uncomfortable and create a negative atmosphere within the salon.
5. Rushed and rough service: One customer complained about the rushed and rough service they received. The technician hurt their fingers multiple times and made them bleed, which indicates a lack of attention to detail and proper technique. Providing rushed and rough services can result in customer dissatisfaction and negative reviews.
Overall, while The Sky Nails & Spa may have some strengths, such as reasonable pricing and friendly staff, several weaknesses related to cleanliness, communication, and professionalism could significantly impact the salon's reputation and customer satisfaction. Addressing these weaknesses would be crucial for the salon to improve and enhance its overall customer experience.

Worst salon experience. Spent $140 on a gel mani pedi×2 . 8 times they over clipped my cuticles and made my hands bleed chunks are missing (feet were done by a better lady there). They would not or could not understand that my friend wanted a almond shape nail, they kept squaring them, never got that communication right.
The place was disgustingly dirty as seen in the photos (drink was mine but not the lollipop stick). The massage chair was broken so the lady yanked on my neck with hands that she had just peeled something off of and threw it in the tub. She yanked on my neck in a pinching motion, stopped to text and then would continue. She took a phone call right in my FACE while I was trying to talk to my friend. And then I finally had to tell her to stop when she reached in my jacket without saying anything and tried to rub my shoulder too harshly. Never going back here again.
This salon was very DIRTY!! Uncomfortable!!!Tables, tools, chairs..very dirty not clean!!
Hand cream and powders glues mixed got on my hand????????♀️
The workers talk a lot..
they use no cuticle dissolver. just ripped the skin off with nippers. polish was applied poorly. I can see the nail though spots of the polish, They are was over all a poor experience. definitely not worth the 100$ I wouldn't even want to pay $5 for this. was a waste of time and money!!!
You HAVEEEEEEE to come here! This place is definitely a hidden gem. We came 30 minutes before they were about to close and they still took us anyway. Honey these ladies doing our pedicures had us laughing and tipsy off of mimosas. Ive also never been complimented so much in a nail shop before. I've never had this experience. They made me feel beautiful and taken care of. It's definitely one I'll remember. Amazing customer service. And my feet came out so nice. My skin was smoother and moisturized and my feet have been saved! Lol this is definitely now my new place to get them done at. Plus there prices are reasonable. Annie and Jennifer took suchhhhhhhh good care of us.

Update: the polish on my partners toes started chipping a few days later and a week later the entire polish came off. And it's gel polish.
I really enjoyed my visit to the salon, I met up with a friend and we were looking for a salon open on Sunday. The pedicure was great (did a gel polish on my toes) and manicure while sitting in the pedicure chair and they did a dip nail polish. I did not want tips. The reason I mention what I did is because it cost me $115. I saw the pedicure price and chose a $45 one. I understood the manicure was going to be an additional $20. I know that there is a difference between gel polish, dip polish, etc. I did not expect it to be $50 more. I should have asked, so that is my fault. I still tipped on top of that, so the tip was another $15 I was having a nice time with my friend and felt shy to put up a fuss. I did like the service, and they did a great job. My friend paid $85, but no dip nail. Her salon specialist offered her a shoulder rub, which she declined. The lady doing her pedicure did a long foot massage and I believe stone massage- I was not offered any of this, no foot massage, nothing. It still was a nice pedicure. My only other complaint is they seemed to be arguing with each other, and I understand speaking in your native language but it was excessively LOUD and I could not hear my friend sitting right next to me at times. It feels so rude to have loud conversations in a foreign language while performing the manicure/pedicure. It made things awkward.
I have been coming to this salon for years and am disappointed in the service I received today. I asked Jennifer to schedule a week in advance but she declined stating that she did not know what time she would be in. I called the morning of to inquire about coming in before my flight and she said she would not be in until late. I arrive at the salon and she is doing someone’s nails. She said, get a pedicure and I will do your nails next. My pedicure is complete and I noticed her doing someone else’s nails.
I told her when I arrived that I am leaving the country and needed to get to the airport. When I asked to see someone else, she began to yell at me stating “can’t you see we are understaffed.” At which, point I grabbed my belongings and left.
I will not pay $120 for rude service. She also is very sloppy in her work. I often leave with nail polish on my fingers and she struggles to get the nail shape I like. I guess it is time for me to find another nail tech. I like the wine service offered and the salons proximity to my home but why pay money for bad service.
The nail art was horrible not like the picture I showed her she was in a rush she hurt my fingers about three times and grabbed my hand back rough she made me bleed on my finger and tried to cover it
She was rude rushing
people who were there before me weren’t even done and I was done before them I would never never never go back !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don’t go here !!!! spend your money somewhere else !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 65$ for the worst job ever especially when I told her it’s for my baby shower event.
Horrible place
Very nice staff but wasn't very clean. I went with a friend we both got a gel manicure. She got a shoulder rub and more service than I did. The lady doing my nails was doing a pedicure for another client at the same time not wearing any gloves, cut my finger and touched my blood and then touched the other clients feet several times. I will not be coming back.
I have been to this location when Tee was working and she always did fantastic on my nails but she left. I went Friday 9/17/21 for my birthday and they where very pushy with getting the more expensive dip powder, I never do dip I always do acrylic and I declined for dip and the lady kept telling me she was going to do dip and I kept refusing and we went back and forth for a little until I finally agreed to do dip, well my pedicure was great but my nails they just don’t look good at all I like the white part much shorter than what it is and my she kept using g the grinder on my cuticles until my cuticle on my thumb nail started bleeding and I told her it was hurting and pulled my hand away and she just said oh it’s because I had a lot of cuticles and I’m like but that’s hurting. They should listen to there customers and stop being so pushy with the upgrades and if someone does get just the basic accept it and don’t be rude to them. For my hands and feet it came to $130 which i should be very happy for that price so I will not be back.
