Quick Facts About The Take Over

The Take Over place has received a mix of positive and negative comments, highlighting both its strengths and weaknesses. In order to provide a comprehensive explanation, the strengths and weaknesses of this barber shop will be analyzed.
Strengths: 1. Positive recommendations: Multiple comments mention that the barbers at The Take Over place are skilled and provide great haircuts. The positive experience of customers who have had exceptional barbers indicates that the shop has talented staff members who can deliver a good quality service.
2. Welcoming atmosphere: Several comments mention that the atmosphere at The Take Over place is welcoming and chill. The presence of couch seating and large screen TVs creates a comfortable environment for customers to relax while they wait. This can contribute to a positive overall experience.
3. Appointment availability: While some comments mention long waiting times for walk-ins, it is noted that appointments are available, especially on Saturdays. This provides customers with the option to better manage their time and avoid long waits, making the shop more accommodating for individuals with busy schedules.
4. Reasonable prices: One comment mentions that the prices at The Take Over place are similar to Supercuts but provide a better haircut. This indicates that the shop offers competitive pricing, making it an attractive option for customers looking for quality services at affordable rates.
5. Friendly and professional barbers: Multiple comments highlight the friendly and professional nature of the barbers at The Take Over place. This can contribute to a positive customer experience, as it creates a comfortable and enjoyable environment.
Weaknesses: 1. Lack of communication: One comment mentions that when a customer walked in, they were immediately questioned about having an appointment instead of being greeted with a welcome. This suggests a lack of communication skills and customer service training among the staff, which can create a poor first impression and discourage potential customers.
2. Inconsistency in barber quality: While some comments mention exceptional barbers, others mention receiving a haircut from someone who was not as skilled. Inconsistency in the quality of service can be a weakness for a barber shop, as customers expect a consistently good experience each time they visit.
3. Noise level: One comment mentions that the TVs in the shop are always loud, making it difficult to have a conversation with the barber. Excessive noise can be disruptive and diminish the overall experience for customers who prefer a more relaxed and quiet environment during their haircut.
4. Waiting times for walk-ins: Two comments mention long wait times, especially if friends of the barbers come in. This can be frustrating for customers who are hoping for a quick walk-in service, as they may need to wait longer than expected. Long wait times can discourage potential customers and affect the overall satisfaction of existing ones.
5. Incidents of physical assault: One comment describes a disturbing incident where a stylist physically assaulted a customer. This indicates a serious lack of professionalism, customer service skills, and potentially, a toxic work environment. Incidents like this can severely damage the reputation of a business and cause customers to feel unsafe or uncomfortable.
In conclusion, The Take Over place has strengths such as positive recommendations, a welcoming atmosphere, appointment availability, reasonable prices, and friendly barbers. However, it also exhibits weaknesses, including a lack of communication, inconsistency in barber quality, noise levels, long waiting times for walk-ins, and a serious incident of physical assault. It is important for the management of The Take Over place to address these weaknesses in order to improve the overall customer experience and maintain a positive reputation.

As soon as you walk in your questioned if you have an appointment (how about a welcome?)! Then the barber doesn’t even recognize a comb over style and starts complaining about having to fix other haircuts? Offer solutions that is how you gain customers. Poor experience all around.
Recently found this place, recommended by my nephew. Sergio the owner is a great Barber and really enjoys running his business. This place is busy, so don't expect to come in and get seated. They will take appointments for an additional fee, if your time is valuable.
Must try I've had two barbers who were exceptional but then I went back later and got someone else who wasn't as good. Definitely worth checking out. Great vibes. Very friendly and professional barbers. Their prices are similar to Supercuts with a tip yet a WAY better cut.
This place was great, the person that cut my hair was precise and did a great job. They trimmed my beard hair and cut my back neck hair with a razor which was nice. For 21 dollars it was well worth it.
PHYSICAL ASSAULT on a customer by a stylist over a trivial matter! I got here at 8:45am this morning to get a clean up. The stylist told me they open at 9 and i waited outside patiently for 15 minutes until they opened. Upon going in at 9, the stylist tells me that he has a 9am appointment - to which I respond that I hope you would’ve told me that while I was waiting and then after a long pause I ask him if some other stylist was coming at 9am to which he responded negatively. I was visibly disappointed. He tells me not to be upset to which I respond - of course I am upset because you didn’t mention this while I was waiting! Then he tries to cut me off while I am speaking, so I ask him to finish saying his piece and I’ll listen patiently. During his talking he mentioned that he could’ve taken me if the appointment didn’t show up til 9:05am. I responded - well you didn’t tell me that when I asked you earlier to which he said he doesn’t have to give me all the 411. Then went on to physically assault me and pushed me out of the store - without any provocation or me using a single cuss word. This stylist definitely has anger issues and ZERO customer service skills.
Always welcoming, chill atmosphere, and lots of TVs for those waiting and on the barber chairs. Appointments are available on Sat if you are running on a schedule, so that's a huge plus! Been coming here for a good while, haven't had a reason to say a bad thing about this place.
No wait when I went. There is a lot of couch seating facing large screen TVs. The screens appear to be stuck on a comedy channel I don't recognize. I have been there about 3 times and it is always the three or four guys that prank each other or doing stupid things. The sound is too loud so it is difficult to have a conversation with your barber. I am giving them a 4/5 because I have never had to make an appointment and their prices are reasonable. They are friendly and clean, I go back mostly because they are closest to where I live.
This place is alright but not a good place for walk-ins. If you do come be prepared to wait and god help you if friends of the barbers come in. You will be waiting for awhile. If you do go try and get the short bald guy with a stash or the girl with the red hair. They both do a good job.
