Quick Facts About TNL Nails and Spa
TNL Nails and Spa is a nail salon that has received mixed reviews from customers. It is important to consider both the positive and negative feedback in order to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the establishment.
Starting with the strengths, there are a few positive comments from satisfied customers. One customer mentioned being pleased with the results of a full set of nails and praised the technician for being friendly, knowledgeable, and experienced. This indicates that some of the staff members at TNL Nails and Spa are skilled and provide a good level of service. Another positive comment mentioned the hot stone massage during the pedicure, which was described as amazing. This shows that the salon offers additional services that enhance the overall customer experience. Additionally, one customer mentioned that the salon has made improvements over time, suggesting that they are actively working to provide better services.
However, negative comments indicate several weaknesses of TNL Nails and Spa. One recurring issue mentioned by multiple customers is the lack of attention to detail and quality of service. One customer complained about a gel manicure that started peeling off within a day, suggesting that the application process was not done properly. Another customer expressed dissatisfaction with a pedicure, stating that the technician did not provide a basic level of service and left scabs on their eyebrows. This indicates inconsistency in the quality of service provided by different technicians at the salon. Furthermore, a few customers mentioned that the staff rushed their appointments or were distracted, which suggests that the salon may not prioritize providing personalized and attentive service to every customer.
Another significant weakness highlighted by multiple comments is the lack of cleanliness and hygiene practices at TNL Nails and Spa. Customers mentioned that tools and instruments were not properly sanitized, and filers were not changed after each customer, posing potential health risks and violating health codes. These comments raise concerns about the salon's adherence to basic hygiene practices, which is essential for maintaining a safe and sanitary environment.
Rudeness and unprofessional behavior from the staff is another weakness mentioned by several customers. They reported feeling talked about and judged in a foreign language, which made them uncomfortable. Some customers also mentioned that the staff seemed in a hurry to leave before closing time, neglecting their responsibilities towards customers. These negative experiences detract from the overall customer satisfaction and contribute to a negative perception of the salon.
Overall, TNL Nails and Spa has some strengths, such as experienced staff, additional services like hot stone massages, and efforts to improve over time. However, the salon also faces significant weaknesses including inconsistent quality of service, lack of cleanliness and hygiene practices, and unprofessional behavior from some staff members. Addressing these weaknesses would be crucial for improving the salon's reputation and customer satisfaction.

They do not cap the edges of your nails when they do a gel manicure so they peel off. I got these done Saturday and by Sunday the gel was already lifting. What is the point of paying $37 (total with tip) if the gel is only going to peel off the next day. What a waste. The women who did my nails was nice but her phone kept ringing nonstop and she answered most of the time. Which is fine but she seemed distracted and rushed my manicure. You can see how they look in the pictures. To me they look like my 8 year old niece did them.
Very pleased with services here. Michelle did a full set of nails for me today. I brought a picture with what I'd like done except in a different color. I'm so pleased with the results! The process was quick, the tech was friendly, knowledgeable and experienced.
I went in for a pedicure and eyebrow wax. Aside from the massage, the pedicure was below basic, I asked if she would scrub my feet more and was told I needed to pay extra for one of the different pedicures. She butchered my eyebrows. They were uneven, she waxed and also plucked off the ends of my eyebrows making them very short and left scabs on me. I was so upset. I told her I just wanted them cleaned up and she completely destroyed them. Then she got an attitude with me when I asked that she please not charge me for the eyebrow wax since she completely ruined them. I will never go back there again.
EDIT: They did offer my money back, which I do appreciate. They said they shouldn't have agree to doing black acrylic; and I appreciate their honesty!
Not my norm nail place; But they don't even bother filling the acrylic all the way down or cover the entire nail. I understand the closing time; but then they should have turned me away instead of rushing to get my nails done. Will not be back, Sorry.
This place is the worst. It’s very dirty and most of the staff are rude. The rudeness could be cultural related but it’s still disgusting. They do not change the filers after each customer which is a health violation. They do not sanitize tools properly and they use the same instruments on ever customer. For example, the purple foot scrubber that they use for pedicure is used on each and every person, this is so gross. You could easily get an infection from this. ????
Worse nail place ever! Rude staff and they all in hurry to leave before closing and don't care they have customers still. I even had an appointment. My experience was horrible and not enough space to tell you all of it! Still have to go elsewhere to get my nails finished and I'm VERY mad about it. Don't waste your time or money!
Very obvious when you’re being talked about in their language, every single worker stops and turns to look at you. Also very very unsanitary. They use the same tools on everyone when doing pedicures. Huge health code violation, this place could very easily be shut down.
I have been coming here every 3 weeks for a couple years now. They are great! If you want to sit and have a conversation with them they will or you can just chill and people watch. I use to come in and just take whoever was available at the time, but the service does vary from person to person. I now always call in and make an appointment. I've had different people do my eyebrows but Michelle is the best, doesn't hurt at all! If you get a pedicure, definitely get #2 the $25 one. You get additional scrubs and the hot stone massage is amazing. I've almost fallen asleep a couple of times. And throughout my time coming here, I've seen many improvements. Also if you get your nails done and they chip within 2 weeks they will repair it for free.
