Quick Facts About Tom's Nails
Tom's Nails place has a mix of strengths and weaknesses, as indicated by the comments provided.
One of the strengths of Tom's Nails is the personalized service that Tom provides. One customer mentions that Tom works with them and helped them grow their real nails out. This personal attention and dedication to customer satisfaction is a positive aspect of the salon. Additionally, another customer mentions that the prices at Tom's Nails are the best they have encountered. Competitive pricing is always a strength for any business, as it can attract more customers and increase loyalty.
On the other hand, there are several weaknesses that need to be addressed. One customer had a negative experience with a pedicure, where their toe was cut and became infected. This indicates a lack of attention to proper care and hygiene protocols. Another customer had a poor experience with the staff members. They describe the nail technicians as rude and rushing through their services. Furthermore, there was a lack of skill in recreating a specific nail design and handling color matching, which resulted in disappointment for the customer. This inconsistency in service quality is a significant weakness for Tom's Nails.
There were also complaints about the durability of the services provided at Tom's Nails. One customer mentions that their nails completely broke off within a week of getting them done, and when they approached Tom about it, they were met with disregard and blame. This lack of accountability and poor customer service is a major weakness for the salon. Another customer mentions that the nail polish used for their acrylics was cheap and started chipping off quickly. This indicates a lack of attention to detail and using subpar products.
Despite these weaknesses, there were positive comments about the salon as well. One customer had a great appointment and mentions that their nails and feet turned out beautiful. They also emphasize that the salon was clean, quick, and professional. This suggests that there is potential for a positive experience at Tom's Nails, but consistency needs to be improved.
To address the weaknesses, Tom's Nails needs to focus on improving customer service and consistency in service quality. The salon should prioritize proper hygiene and care protocols to avoid incidents like infections or injuries. It is also important to ensure that all staff members are skilled and knowledgeable in recreating specific designs and properly matching colors. Tom's Nails should invest in high-quality products to improve durability and avoid issues like chipping or breaking nails.
Additionally, Tom's Nails needs to work on their customer service and communication skills. When customers have complaints or concerns, it is crucial for the salon to handle them professionally and find a solution instead of dismissing them. Training staff members in good customer service practices and effective communication can help improve the overall experience for customers.
In conclusion, Tom's Nails has some strengths, such as personalized service and competitive pricing. However, there are several weaknesses that need to be addressed, including inconsistent service quality, poor customer service, and durability issues. By focusing on improving these areas, Tom's Nails can enhance the overall customer experience and establish a reputation as a reliable and high-quality nail salon.

Tom is not like any other nail place I've encountered out here. He works w you. I have finally found somewhere and grew my real nails out.... plus the best prices.
Went in for a pedicure she cut my toe said it was ingrown mail not it’s red and hurts so bad it getting a infection. I will never go here again !
I got My nails done for a wedding and needed help color matching and they would not help me and he said that everyone was color blind tha lady was very rough and not friendly. The design was not what I wanted and I will never be going back. The color didn't match btw. And throws the whole outfit off. That was the first and last time I will ever get my nails done professionally... $90 for NOTHING
Had really bad experience. Nail techs are rude and rush through. Selected a color pattern from their own color options and then they didn’t even know how to recreate the color on the pattern then was forced to redo my nails with a different color because they screwed up attempting the color pattern. No apologies. Nail tech would stop to watch tv while doing my nails. Also, jumped off and did a full acrylic fill in on another customer despite the fact that I was there first and so I had to sit there and wait 35 minutes while he did the other customers nails. Will be switching to a different salon
I got my nails done on Nov 29th and I paid for a full set, coffin with gel, a pedicure with gel and my niece’s mani/pedi. Today is Dec. 9 and I just called because my nails have completely broken off over the weekend. The first nail came off and I thought it was me, but how does 5 nails come off over the span of a week. I spoke to Tom & was very respectful on letting him know that my nails were not done right and he told me I was on my own and that it was my fault that I had broken nails. I told him I can’t tell you something that hasn’t happened yet and I was able to come back because I live in South Carolina. I came in on a Friday and left back out of town on Saturday... my nails weren’t broke then so I called him after it happened because it’s not a coincidence. HE COMPLETELY DISREGARDED MY FEELINGS & DOES NOT CARE ABOUT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE. He told me it was my fault and that I was on my own. I spent $100 that day which the nail set itself was $50 and he doesn’t care. I’ve had my nails done before and they’ve never broken off within the span of a week!!!!! Word of advice to anyone who’s looking to go to this nail salon, DON’T!!!
The woman who did my pedicure did great minus she cut my nails super low, but the rest of the staff who did me, my sister and my niece was horrible! The tip they put on chipped as they did my nails and they didn't fix it, my design didn't at all match what I asked for! They charged me $20 just for the gems for 2 fingers. A man working there had the nerve to tell my sister her daughter was too young for a French tip which she only did it to match us but it's not his child to try to voice his opinion! My nails are not shapped well very lumpy and they look awful I wouldn't suggest going there for your nails at all but pedicures maybe!
Went there less than a week ago. Nail polish on my acrylics are chipping off bc of how cheap the polish is. Had to correct Tom himself bc the acrylics were shaped crooked. The other nail tech was rude as well. Service just gets worse and worse. Smh
Great appointment. My nails and feet turned out beautiful and they were clean, quick, and professional. I found my nail spot!
