Quick Facts About Up Next Barber Shop & Beauty
Up Next Barber Shop & Beauty Place has received both positive and negative comments from customers. Let's examine the strengths and weaknesses of the business based on the comments provided.
Starting with the strengths, one customer mentioned that the barbershop had no loud or obscene music or conversations. This created a comfortable environment, especially for a female customer. A welcoming and respectful atmosphere is important in any barbershop or beauty place, and Up Next seems to excel in this aspect. Additionally, another customer praised their barber, Capel, for providing a professional and polite service. The customer was pleased with the freestyle undercut and considered it amazing. This indicates that Up Next has skilled barbers who can deliver great results. Furthermore, a different customer expressed their satisfaction with Orlando, also known as Big O, and stated that he did a great job with their haircut. This suggests that Up Next has multiple talented barbers available for customers to choose from.
Moving on to the weaknesses, one customer had a negative experience with a female barber who had a bad attitude and refused to cut their hair according to their desires. This indicates a lack of customer service and a failure to meet the customer's expectations. Another customer complained about multiple barbers leaving the shop, causing them to constantly switch barbers. This suggests a lack of stability and consistency in the workforce, which can be frustrating for customers. Similarly, another customer had their appointment cancelled last-minute by Barber Adrian Lane, resulting in wasted time and a lack of communication. This reflects poor management of appointments and a lack of consideration for the customer's schedule.
There are also complaints regarding the service provided by specific barbers. One customer mentioned that a barber charged them $40 for a face with line up, which they considered too high for the services received. The customer also felt that their specific request for a less low beard was not properly considered. This suggests that there may be inconsistencies in pricing and attentiveness to customer preferences among the barbers. Additionally, another customer felt that a particular barber lacked customer service skills and didn't show interest or care during their haircut. This indicates a lack of professionalism and attentiveness from that specific barber.
On the positive side, there were customers who praised the skills and expertise of certain barbers, such as Capel, Orlando, and Cheese, mentioning that they provided excellent haircuts. This indicates that there are talented barbers available at Up Next who can meet and exceed customer expectations.
In terms of weaknesses, there were complaints about unprofessional behavior, including loud music, curse words, and conversations making customers uncomfortable. This indicates a lack of professionalism and a failure to create a pleasant and welcoming environment for all customers, which can negatively impact the customer experience.
In conclusion, Up Next Barber Shop & Beauty Place has strengths in creating a comfortable atmosphere and having skilled barbers who can deliver excellent haircuts. However, there are weaknesses in terms of inconsistent customer service, management of appointments, professionalism, and attentiveness to customer preferences. These weaknesses should be addressed in order to improve the overall customer experience and reputation of the business.

This was my first time coming to this barbershop for an undercut. It was Sunday after church and I got right in. I was very pleased with my experience. There was no loud or obscene music or conversations. As a woman, this made me very comfortable. My barber (Capel) was very polite and professional. He did a freestyle undercut and it was AMAZING! It was more than I expected because I hadn't had a great undercut in a while. The price was right for the intricate design. I think I've found my new barber and will definitely return.
This was the first barbershop I went too when I touched down in Atlanta last year. My first time there, I encountered a female barber with a bad attitude. She wanted too cut my hair the way she wanted. Instead of the way I wanted it done. So, she never touched my head at all. I ended up seeing another barber who did okay the first time. But then he quit and wasn't working there anymore. So, I switched over too another barber. And he did okay. But then he was setting appointments and not showing up. So, I ended up with another guy. And the last time I went in there. I asked for a "low fade". Also referred too as "bald fade". With the hook in the front left corner. Which is what I get all the time. And this dude cut me up bad with a straight razor attempting too do the hook. And he left a scab there. It was my birthday. And the pic's did not come out good. So, I stopped going there. They don't have any good barbers
Barber Adrian Lane cancelled my appointment with no warning on Booksy after me driving out my way for it. Booked it two hours in advance and it was cancelled within 5 minutes of my appointment. Would have at least appreciated a text with why and a more prompt warning before wasting my time.
I have a barber I go to... but I went here and Barber named Orlando aka big O ...did a great job on my haircut.. not from the A so finding someone to cut hair is hard especially when
everybody say they can cut but cant????????...Orlando can cut..I will be back and I didnt give it 5 stars because I dont know how the other barbers cut
Haircut was average as i didnt want much… but i did expect some type of customer service… he (2nd chair on right)only ask me 1 question… what kind of cut i was getting…. Nothing else. He charged 30 which is cool… but the experience was $15 at best. I would have given a tip… if he acted like he cared… but it was so clear he didnt. Go here at ur own risk.
Not a bad wait but very unprofessional with loud music and curse words playing along with conversations about people that shouldn’t be made to make people feel uncomfortable . The barber who cut me took my beard down too much after telling him I didn’t want it super low. Also, he charged me $40 for a face with line up. That’s a little high for me, especially when I have dreads and nothing else was done beside a razor/ and temp fade on the side. His response was this is the hair capital of Atlanta and it’s Campcreek. I lived in NYC and here in ATL and have never paid that much for the little amount of services I received . I will NOT be returning. .
Amazing hairstylist, quick didn't hurt, and was great to chat with
