Quick Facts About Up Next Barbershop
Up Next Barbershop has both strengths and weaknesses based on the comments provided.
Starting with the strengths, some customers have had positive experiences with their haircuts at Up Next Barbershop. One commenter mentions having had three really good cuts out of twelve visits, which suggests that there are skilled barbers present at the establishment. Additionally, another customer praises the work of two specific barbers during their visit, stating that they did an awesome job and were very kind. This indicates that there may be individual barbers at the shop who are talented and provide satisfactory service.
In terms of weaknesses, multiple negative comments mention issues with the haircuts. One customer mentions that their last cut was "GOD AWFUL," where the barber cut all of their hair off and left something that didn't resemble a haircut. Another customer states that the fades and shape-ups are not sharp, and that they can still see fade lines. These comments suggest that there may be inconsistencies in the quality of haircuts received at Up Next Barbershop, with some customers experiencing subpar results.
Customer service and professionalism are also highlighted as weaknesses. One commenter mentions that customer service and professionalism are non-existent at the shop. They specifically mention an incident where a barber did not fulfill their requested haircut and then tried to use hair paint to fix it. The customer was still expected to pay for the unsatisfactory service. This reflects poorly on the shop's professionalism and suggests that there may be a lack of attention to customer satisfaction.
The attitudes and behavior of some barbers are another weakness mentioned in the comments. One commenter mentions that some barbers at the shop used profane language and did not show respect towards children and women present. Another customer states that there was a fake thug attitude among the shop employees. These comments suggest that there may be a negative and unwelcoming environment at Up Next Barbershop, which can make customers feel uncomfortable and dissatisfied with their experience.
Another weakness mentioned is the long wait times. One commenter states that it took forever to get a haircut, indicating that there may be inefficiencies or a lack of proper scheduling at the shop. This can be a significant drawback for customers who value their time and want efficient service.
Furthermore, price and payment-related issues are mentioned in the comments. One customer mentions paying $29 for a haircut, while someone else states that they were charged $20 just for the haircut fee. This suggests a lack of consistency or transparency in pricing.
In conclusion, while Up Next Barbershop has received positive feedback for some haircuts and the work of specific barbers, there are significant weaknesses highlighted in the comments. These include inconsistent haircut quality, a lack of professionalism and customer service, negative attitudes, long wait times, and pricing issues. These weaknesses should be addressed by the management to improve the overall experience for customers.

I had 3 really good cuts from this place. Out of like 12 visits, 3 of my cuts I loved. My last cut was GOD AWFUL. I asked for a Mohawk, cut it down low. The barber cut all of my hair off, leaving something that didn't even remotely resemble a haircut, and didn't even bother to do the sides correctly either. I had to go to school looking like my mom did my haircut. Save your money, go someplace else.
Definetly not the place for walk in or fades ….I can still se my fade lines and shape up isn’t sharp at all
This place is terrible homie cut into my eyebrow 18 years of getting haircuts and that had never happened to me. Do not recommend at all.
Went to the mall yesterday looking for a particular beard oil. I had 3 different stores tell me that I might find what I was looking for at this Barber shop. As I approached the barber shop a young man was eager to help me and welcomed me to his chair. But after I informed him that I was looking for a product, ie. A beard oil. Not a hair cut. The young man’s attitude changed completely like I wasted his time, then another guy from another chair pointed at a vending machine. He told me I could get beard oil from that machine. So I looked in the direction he was pointing, confirmed that I was looking at what he was pointing at. In disbelief, I still said thank you. As I walked out of the barber shop, I hear a voice behind me say, “ And you can get something for your lady friend from there too” referring to my pregnant wife… once again I said thanks…
But when I walked closer to the vending machine, I realized it was an Adult toy and lubricants vending machine. I felt embarrassed and disrespected. There was no need for there raindeer games nor there hateful attitude. They really know how to make a person feel welcomed and appreciated at there place of business. Good work guys, keep it up. You’ll go far!!! Also, didn’t nobody , not one of the 6-8 barbers present at the time spoke up to address the mild case of hazing that I experienced. Atleast not while I was in ear shot.
Paid $29 for haircut with the ATM machine some guy said I'll pay 20 just for haircut fee so non friendly environment first time going probably gonna look for another barber for haircut won't be coming to this one anymore
The 2 barbers that that were used during this visit did an awesome job and were very kind but a few of the other barbers language were profaned and they didn't respect the fact that children and women were present. I didn't like that at all.
WILL Not bE GOING BACK…if you just moved here , don’t go here I’m from LA…Takes forever to get a cut, proper communication is a must. Fake thug attitude. I got a cut and it was “Okay”. The shop employees need more training. Seems like a “rent-a-chair”. Type barber shop. If you take care of your hair. Don’t go here.
I’ve gotten a haircut here 3 times with the first two visits being okay. My hair was cut decently, but customer service and professionalism is non-existent here. The last time I received a haircut from Mel, I ended up having to COMPLETELY SHAVE my head because of the haircut he gave me. I stated from the beginning, the type of haircut I wanted, and that I also wanted a hard part in the area where it was visible. Needless to say, he didn’t do what I requested. He shaved a completely new part in the side of my head, and then tried to use hair paint to fix it. He still requested I pay him $20 after messing my haircut up. I will NEVER go here again, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone either.
