Quick Facts About Vick's Nail Lounge
Vick's Nail Lounge has both strengths and weaknesses, as indicated by the comments provided. In this analysis, we will discuss the strengths and weaknesses of the salon based on these comments.
Starting with the strengths, one comment mentioned that the nail technician was patient and detail-oriented. This indicates that the salon has attentive and skilled staff who take the time to ensure customer satisfaction. Additionally, the salon was described as beautiful and clean, with lots of natural sunlight and a modern ambiance. This suggests that the salon provides a pleasant and comfortable environment for customers.
Another strength mentioned in the comments is the great service provided by the salon. One customer specifically mentioned leaving the salon feeling happy and satisfied with their manicure and pedicure. This indicates that the salon is dedicated to providing a positive and enjoyable experience for their customers. Additionally, the receptionist was described as attentive and knowledgeable, which suggests that the salon has efficient and customer-focused staff.
Moving on to the weaknesses, one major issue mentioned in the comments is the unprofessional and rude behavior of some staff members. Customers reported feeling rushed, overlooked, and disrespected during their visits. There were incidents of nails being cut too short, acrylic being applied too thickly, and requests for corrections being met with annoyance and rudeness. These experiences undermine the salon's reputation and may lead to customers seeking services elsewhere.
Another weakness mentioned in the comments is the poor quality of the services provided. Customers reported issues such as gel polish not lasting long enough, nails chipping quickly, and unaligned French tip lines. These issues suggest that the salon may struggle with consistency and attention to detail in their services, which can lead to customer dissatisfaction.
Pricing was also mentioned as a weakness in one comment. The customer felt that the salon was overpriced, especially considering the poor quality of the gel manicure. This indicates that the salon may not provide good value for money, which can deter potential customers.
Lastly, one comment mentioned a long wait time for the pedicure polish to dry. The customer felt that waiting for 84 minutes was excessive, especially considering that the polish remained sticky even after that time. This issue suggests that the salon may lack efficient processes and equipment for drying polish, which can lead to inconveniences for customers.
In conclusion, Vick's Nail Lounge has several strengths, including patient and detail-oriented nail technicians, a beautiful and clean salon environment, and great overall service. However, the salon also has several weaknesses, such as unprofessional and rude staff, poor service quality, high prices, and inefficient drying processes. These weaknesses can negatively impact customer satisfaction and may deter potential customers from returning to the salon.

I had a great experience here! My nail technician was so patient when I decided to change from gel to dip; and let me take my time picking out a new color. She was very detail oriented and did a great job with the shape and color consistency. I don’t get my nails done often but will be back next time I do.
I really wanted to like Vicks nail lounge - so much so I went two on different occasions. Great studio and location. My first manicure they removed my acrylic but ripping them off because “soaking them would take too long” My nails have since ripped constantly. My second visit they talked me out of the color I selected to which I didn’t like the result but would have charged $30 to change the polish color. On this visit they also didn’t paint the color close to the mail bed so when I left it looked like they had grown out a little already.
Give the lounge a try if it’s convenient for you! But overall, not for me.
If I could rate this salon 0 stars I would. I never write reviews, however, I feel I should warn others of my experience here so they can spend their money elsewhere. The staff here are incredibly rude and rushed through the entire process. I told the person doing my nails that it was for my wedding and that I was getting married in 2 days. He still rushed through them, was incredibly rude when I was trying to tell him what I wanted, and even cut my finger while he was hurrying to finish my nails. He did not ask the length I wanted, applied the acrylic extremely thick, and was annoyed and rude when I asked for corrections to be made to my nails. I got French tip and the lines are crooked and uneven in some areas. It’s not even worth going back to the salon to have them fix it because of how unprofessional they were and how poorly my nails were done. I will have it fixed by another salon. My MIL was with me and while she was getting her nails shaped, she asked for her shape to be changed. They charged her $5 just to shape her nails. Ridiculous and not worth the money we paid. We will never be returning here again.
I had a great experience here at Vicks Nails. First of all, the salon itself is very beautiful. Lots of natural sunlight coming in. Very clean and modern. Second, my manicure and pedicure turned out gorgeous. Third, great service. I could not be happier leaving. Don’t forget to tip your nail technician!! They deserve it. ????
Waited for pedicure polish to dry under the lights for 84 mins and it was still very sticky when I decided to leave. I’ve never had such sticky polish. Was told I have to wait 3-4 hours after polishing before I could wear closed toe shoes. It is winter time and was not told that it is because I chose regular polish vs gel polish but not unlike after I waited 30 mins after she told me to wait 20 mins. Not very helpful. I bought the $60 pedicure and tipped over 20%. Very unhappy with my experience. I’ve had many pedicures over the years and never have I had this sticky of polish after 84 mins under the lights. I work near by and will make sure to tell people my experience.
They were extremely snobby. They even treated my kid disrespectfully, so that’s not okay. Besides the ambiance, nothing is great about them. They seem to treat others that were there much nicer than my family and I were, which is concerning as I felt I was a bit discriminated …don’t go here.
OVERPRICED and did a poor job. It was $37 for a regular gel manicure. The lady acted like she was above me and was rude and my nail already chipped only 4 days later. For 37 dollars I’m pretty sure my gel should last a month. Terrible I am never going back to this place.
My boyfriend and I had Kay and Hannah for our signature pedicures at 2pm. Kay was awesome as she worked on my feet through the massages and polish. Hannah did not know it was my boyfriend’s first time getting a pedi, but her work ethic seemed to fit perfectly for him. Hannah always asked if the water was too warm and if my boyfriend was doing okay.
Once we were done the place started to fill up. I suggest making an appointment prior if you’re going after 3pm on weekdays.
The receptionist was attentive and knew exactly what our names were the moment we arrived. (I had called and made an appointment earlier that morning.) It was also her first day! She even walked me over to the nail polish section to choose my color and explained if I wanted to change to gel later on they can accommodate! Made a difference in approach at a nail salon. I was happy and surprised just because it was our first time at Vick’s nail.
I would definitely go back again for a pedicure and will try manicure next.
