They also mentioned that the prices were not posted, which suggests a lack of transparency regarding pricing. This lack of consistency and transparency regarding pricing can be a weakness that may deter potential customers.

However, there are weaknesses in inconsistency in haircut quality, long wait times and lack of punctuality, and price discrepancies and lack of transparency. Went for a walk in appointment for my 3 year old son. Sammy was great! You can tell he’s a perfectionist. He took his time and made sure every hair was perfectly in place. Thank you so much! ????
I really enjoy this barbershop. As a single mom I bring my boys here and have always felt comfortable. I like all the barbers and love the way they cut my boys hair. I was a bit nervous at first because I didn’t know if they would be able to cut their hair the way I wanted as their hair grades are very course. I’ve been coming here for over a year and wouldn’t go anywhere else. I moved away from the shop and still make the drive to come here. The staff is very friendly and professional and I always see the same faces so they must be happy here!! I would highly recommend this barbershop!!
Went in for the second time a day ago asking for a burst fade and a slight trim. I had gone in before only once to test the waters got alma as my barber, asking for that cut, for my first experience my hair was cut too short and my stache was trimmed really unevenly I decided to give it a second go as it's the closest barber shop to my house and I asked for Joey which I waited for an hour and 30 minutes roughly because he was booked only to be told he was going to head out that rest of the day last minute, and I got sat with alma once again I decided to give it that second chance and asked for that same cut, not only was the burst fade really uneven going up and down in many areas the top portion of my hair was trimmed more than I had asked and very unevenly to where when my hair is flat it goes lower on one side more than it does on the other , my "burst fade" looks like a mid fade from the front of my ear and a little past my rear portion it just goes straight down no fade what so ever Im not one to judge right away I gave it a second chance and payed $30 for something completely different than what I asked for I was not satisfied with my cut and did not want to say something thatll be disrespectful which is why I took a day to roughly explain my experience with my barber and the barbershop itself I personally would recommend Joey as his cuts seemed clean but I was really dissapointed that I waited that long only to be let know that he was leaving last minute alma did not cut the way I asked twice and I definately felt stares as I walked out that barbershop untill I noticed all the details when I got home.
Horrible with time, barbers talking and barely cutting. I called and set an appointment for a hour out, I got there and waited another hour. Asked the front desk how much longer he said another 40 minutes, save move and time some where else if I can.
Daniel was my barber. I've been shaving my head for 20 years and haven't seen a barber in that time. My girlfriend suggested I see a barber to better trim my beard, and Daniel did a fantastic job. I look great! I will be using their service every 2 weeks. And as a guy, they had TVs with sports and the conversation among barbers and customers was great. I cannot recommend VIP Kutz & Shaves Barbershop more highly!
Just came from there, and what I can say is that Chino did a good job on my hair. He’s one the few that can cut my hair while keeping my natural line up intact. $30 maybe pricey for some however we must understand those days of inexpensive cuts are the past. Barbers do deserve a living wage as much you need to look good. Those who are negative about this place go in with expectation of their own standard. If you’re looking for a Barbershop that can give you a cut that looks better after a shower come here.
I found this shop on an app called “the cut” because I moved to the west valley. I’ve had the same barber for over 10 years & was nervous about going somewhere new until I met the guys @ VIP.
My go-to barber is Louie! I call him Louie Scissorhands because he’s on point with my cuts every time - detailed, takes his time, and listens to his customers no matter if you come every week like me, lol.
I’ve gotten cuts from the other guys as well (shoutout Sammie too). I’ve never had a bad experience & I’ve been a loyal customer for over a year now!
Pancho (owner) is always welcoming, positive, and brings a great energy & picked a great team of guys behind him. Real family environment for me & my sons who now love to go to the shop! Appreciate you guys & will be here as long as I’m around this side of town.
Called for price and was told haircuts are $25 over the phone. Took my 18 yr. old son there and paid for his cut which was $20. Second visit I decided to drop off my son with cash. My son paid $24. After my son got in the car we seen the owner come out. My son and I were wondering why so we stopped the car and asked what was wrong. The owner said my son didn't have enough and went back in. So I followed the owner back in. When I asked the barber how much it was? He said $30. I was completely took back by this because I know what I paid last time was $20 plus a tip for the same hair cut.I asked why am I getting different prices? Do your barber's charge their own price? The owner said children are $20 teens $25 and adults $30 and that was the old prices. Not true my son was there 3 weeks prior. So I asked are the prices posted? he said "No" . their prices are not posted for a reason. BEWARE OF PRICE GOUGING
