Quick Facts About Waverley Cafe Ltd

Waverley Cafe Ltd is a traditional seaside cafe that offers a nostalgic experience reminiscent of the 1950s. This can be seen in its outside loo and metal seating. While this may appeal to some customers who enjoy the vintage atmosphere, it can also be a drawback for those seeking modern amenities and comfort. The strengths and weaknesses of Waverley Cafe Ltd can be further analyzed based on the comments provided.
One of the strengths of Waverley Cafe Ltd is the quality of the food. Multiple customers praise the hot and great quality of the food. They also highlight the freshly made fish and chips, with perfectly crispy batter, tasty fish, and perfectly cooked chips. These positive comments indicate that the cafe excels in delivering delicious and well-prepared meals to its customers.
In terms of pricing, Waverley Cafe Ltd is highly regarded. Customers mention that it is cheap to eat there and that the menu offers a variety of options. This is seen as a strength, as it allows customers to have a budget-friendly meal without compromising on taste or quality. Additionally, customers appreciate the value for money, particularly in comparison to other chippies on the promenade. They describe it as a "proper chippy" with "proper chippy prices".
The cleanliness and tidiness of the cafe also receive positive feedback from customers. They mention that the whole shop is clean and tidy, which contributes to a pleasant dining experience. This indicates that the cafe places importance on maintaining a high standard of cleanliness, which can be considered a strength.
Customer service is another strength highlighted in the comments. One customer mentions the fast and friendly service they received during their visit. The staff is praised for their attentiveness, particularly when an elderly couple placed an order. This positive interaction demonstrates a commitment to providing excellent customer service, enhancing the overall dining experience.
However, there are some weaknesses that customers have pointed out. One customer mentions that the carrots were not nice, suggesting that there may be inconsistencies in the quality of certain food items. Another customer expressed disappointment with the portion sizes, feeling that they were small and not worth the price paid. This comment suggests that portion sizes may vary and may not always meet customer expectations.
In addition, some customers mentioned the need to pay extra for condiments such as ketchup and mushy peas, which were previously included with their orders. This can be seen as a weakness, as it may contribute to a perception of extra costs and inconvenience.
Lastly, there is a comment about the standard of the food not being the best. While the price is considered good for what is offered, this comment suggests that there might be room for improvement in terms of the overall quality of the food.
In conclusion, Waverley Cafe Ltd has several strengths such as the quality of the food, affordability, cleanliness, and good customer service. However, there are also weaknesses, including inconsistencies in food quality, small portion sizes, and additional charges for condiments. By addressing these weaknesses, the cafe can further enhance its strengths and ensure a more consistent and enjoyable dining experience for its customers.

This is a lovely traditional seaside cafe, which is still stuck in the 1950s. With a outside loo and metal seating.
The food was piping hot and great quality. I just found the carrots was not nice.
It fairly cheap to eat here and they have loads of options on the menu.
The best chippy i've had in years. It was freshly made to takeaway and the batter was perfectly crispy, the fish tasty and the chips perfectly cooked!
Far better value than the other chippies on the promenade. A proper chippy with proper chippy prices!
We stopped off for a bit of lunch and not disappointed. We had 2 cheese and onion toasties, a small portion of chips and 2 mugs of tea. All were cooked fresh, looked great and tasted good. The prices were reasonable concidering we were on the Blackpool front and service was fast and friendly. The whole of the shop was really very clean and tidy. We listened to an elderly couple ordering their fish and chips to take out and the guy behind the counter couldn't do enough for them, great service. Keep it up guys, glad we called in.
Came here today order the fish chips peas bread and butter "special" for £4 each well the only thing special about it was the tiny portion you got! Also ordered a hollands pie was served a slice of homemade pie at nearly £3! Total rip off wont return again
Popped in today for lunch with the in-laws and was not disappointed, tasty hot fish and chips good price and spotlessly clean, and friendly staff, would have no problem going again.
Sorry I normally don’t do 2 ⭐️ ratings, but. Portions small , and you have to pay extra for a ketchup and £0.90 for mushy peas ???? which is included in small fish and chips for free.
Had fish and chips and mrs had sausge and chips good price but not the brst standard but for the price cant really go wrong
My partner took me here for a Saturday lunch and, I must admit, I wasn't impressed at first. Wrong! The staff members were so lovely and helpful, and the fish n chips were so tasty and fresh. Great portion size and highly recommend. Will definitely go back.
