I've been faithfully going to 3D Nails for over two years. The reviews you read about having to wait even though you have an appointment are valid. I've had to wait before while having an appointment, but my max was 20 minutes. I've seen people without appointments wait for over an hour.

This is because they are ridiculously busy!!! And they're busy because they have a bunch of regulars making appointments, and tons of foot traffic where they're located. They do take walk-ins, but it's more so squeezing someone in wherever they can. This sometimes causes the techs to start over lapping and helping each other out, which tends to slow down the flow of things.

Lastly, ALVIN IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST!!! He sits right in the front and is normally the one who answers the phone. If you love acrylic nails with unique designs, definitely book an appointment with Alvin. Try at least a day or two in advance to book with him. (ps. I waited too long to take one of the pictures)

I’ve been going to 3D nails for some time now since moving to Pittsburgh and love the services; however, my last appointment was not an amazing experience. In the past, I have come here with nail designs that I found online and the nail techs have been able to do them perfectly. I went there Friday to do my Halloween nails and while Alvin did a great job replicating the pic that I showed him, I have been left with a bunch of cuts on most of my fingers.

I had to get a completely new set because there was leftover dip on ONE of my fingers (honestly think he suggested I get a new set just to get more money out of me but it’s whatever) and when he was filing down the acrylic, I was feeling a burning sensation which has honestly left me concerned about my natural nails. Then, as he cleaned up my nails with the nail drill and buffed them to be even, he cut my skin several times because the sharp buffer was way too close to it. Now, 3 days later, I am feeling pain in a lot of my fingers especially when I get them wet. I’ve never experienced this here before or anywhere else.

Someone else left a review stating that if you have sensitive skin, do not go here. I honestly think it depends on the tech and how careful they’re being with your nails. So be very mindful of that especially since the pandemic has forced these nail salons to take sanitation practices seriously and if clients are being left with cuts on their fingers, there is a risk of getting an infection…which will not look good.

The pedicure service is amazing though, I love that they take their time.

Clean. Professional. Talented. Quick. Priced affordably. Alvin was great. This was my first time here. I am not one who does their nails often. This was the second time i have ever had them done. He did a great job and was gentle.

Months for a mani/pedi. I went lastnight for a fill and gel polish. Linda was so pleasant, friendly, took her time and helpful in choosing color. $45 for gel polish fill. They have updated the inside and it’s very comfortable and relaxing

I’ve had multiple pedicures at 3D Nail Spa over the last year and each time I’ve been very satisfied. You’ll leave after a very relaxing experience with smooth feet and beautiful polish. It can be busy at times, but I’ve never felt like they rushed through my service. I would 10/10 recommend this spa to anyone looking for a quality pedicure.

Henry did my nails tonight and I looove them! He worked really hard to get the shape and length just right. Would highly recommend them and him!

My very first apt Linda did an amazing job. I choose one color & she did the cutest. design. They were beautiful! I just went back for my 2nd apt, I showed her 1 picture of what I wanted & she executed perfectly!! She is the best.

I love it here they do it so well even before filing and they really listen to what I want aswell as there really nice they always ask if I like something and make sure it’s what I ask for and it’s reasonably priced especially if you like to get long nails (this is with the colored acrylic)
