Quick Facts About A Barber For Men & Women

Strengths:
1. Experience: Mike has been cutting hair for over 25 years, which means he has a wealth of knowledge and expertise in his field. This experience can give customers confidence that they will receive a high-quality haircut.
2. Consistency: Many comments mention that Mike is consistent in his work. This is a strength because it means customers can trust that they will receive the same level of service and skill each time they visit the barber shop.
3. Personalized service: Mike takes the time to listen to his customers' specific requests and preferences. He even writes down the specifics of each customer's haircut to ensure they get the exact style they want on their next visit. This attention to detail shows that Mike values his customers and aims to provide a personalized experience.
4. Retro atmosphere: The comments mention the hot rod magazines, checkered floor, and nostalgia-inducing barber shop smell. This retro atmosphere can be a strength for those who enjoy a classic barber shop experience, as it adds to the overall ambiance and creates a sense of nostalgia.
5. Customer satisfaction: The comments consistently highlight that customers leave happy with their haircuts. This is significant because it shows that Mike's skills and service are well-received, resulting in satisfied customers who are likely to become repeat customers and refer others.
Weaknesses:
1. Wait times: Several comments mention that there can be a bit of a wait if Mike is busy. While this can be a sign of a popular and in-demand barber, long wait times can be inconvenient for some customers, especially those who are in a hurry.
2. Limited availability: One comment mentions that Mike is a one-man show. While this can be a strength in terms of personalized service and consistency, it also means that there are limited appointment slots available. This could potentially result in difficulty booking an appointment or a longer wait time for customers.
3. Lack of knowledge in popular culture references: While one comment mentions that Mike did a great job on their hair despite not knowing who Betty Page was, it could be seen as a weakness that the barber may not be up-to-date with popular culture references or trends. This may not be an issue for everyone, but some customers may prefer a barber who is more knowledgeable in current styles and trends.

I've been growing my beard out for almost six years. In those six years the only person I let touch my beard is Mike. For those of you looking to treated like a regular and not a # this is tour spot. From the hot rod magazines to the checkered floor and that barber shop smell you grew up with. Mike's will take you back to a better time if only for 10 or 15 minutes. thanks for all you do.

Really love this barber - I was watching him work with others while I waited- he is a master!
Everyone leaves happy with their cut.
Mike has been cutting hair for 25+ years! He is consistent, amiable, and he will also write down your specifics if you ask so you get the exact cut you want next time you patronize his establishment. I recommend that you call in advance if you are in a hurry though. Sometimes it can be a bit of a wait if he is busy. Nothing but good things to say about A Barber. A real class act.
Love my hair cut. Mike did a wonderful job on my hair despite not knowing who Betty page was. My bangs look great my hair looks great and I had a great experience. Guaranteed his hair cut for a week just in case I found something I don't like. But I love it! Would recommend him to anyone!
A barber that has been in the community for many years and does excellent haircuts. Reminiscent of barbers from days gone by and a wonderful place to do business at. Always great conversation, top notch barber.
Dude is awesome! Always busy because the end result is amazing. Even trims up the beard for a few dollars more. Glad I finally switched off of the corporate shops
Started seeing Mike like in 1991, and would make special trip get a cut when visit town, now 4 hrs away make it every couple months. He will be missed when he retires.
Mike is the best barber I have ever been to. He is a one man show, so there will be a bit of a wait. But, well worth it. There are always folks waiting for a cut. Which is a good sign to me.
