My daughter have complained every time about how they hurt her during washing, she has beautiful long hair, I decided to go back with her to see what's was going on, the older lady washing her hair was so rough I had to tell her to stop pulling and she told me that she has too much hair now her hand hurt, at this point she pulling and tugging her hair during the shampoo phase not conditioner. She's prepping her hair to go under the dryer she use a small comb to detangle her hair at this point I'm annoyed again asking her to be more gentle I was so frustrated I left with my daughter hair not even dry and I ask to pay, the icing on the cake she charged me a detangling fee for hurting and pulling out chunks of hair . If you have long natural hair they don't take good care of you .P.S brig your own shampoo and conditioner
I have gone to this salon on and off for the past 8 years. I will never go back to this salon. They put chemicals in my natural hair. I even asked because I smelled the chemicals, and they lied to me saying no we would never do that. I even told her my curls are not as tight anymore and again she lied and told me it was because their products are so good. My hair is no longer natural and is now shedding because of the chemicals they put in my hair. I have 4c type hair, does this look like 4c? If you have natural hair do not go to this salon.
They did put chemicals in my hair and I am not the first person to say this. If you do not know what your shampoo person is doing to your customers hair, you need to check. I guess she also cannot read because I said in the first line that I have gone to Ada's on and off for the past 8 years not that I have had heat on my hair for 8 years. If you want to save your hair please go to Rosa's Dominican salon in morrow and they take cards, not just cash.

The stylists are amazing, friendly and good. They are the best ???????? but the shampoo lady absolutely does not know how to comb 4c hair. So many large chunks of hair in the comb, the rest of my hair broke off and now I have to cut 4 inches.

It was my daughter's birthday. We did a walk in visit and she was there for about 3 hours...but once they actually got started, it didn't take hat long and her very course hair came out beautifully...they staff was very nice to us and the pricing was very reasonable ????
Ada scrub my scalp to the core it was badly damage. I had to put oil on my Scalp until it heal. After that it was like I had bad dandruff from my scalp healing. I will never go back. Also she has the cash only sign on the products displays case, not at the front door.I wash my very well. And you did detangle my hair you was pulling it apart. I didn’t say you damaged my hair I said my skin on my scalp. But I’m sure if I keep coming to you my hair will be damaged. You don’t want to take responsibility for nothing.
I come to Ada's 2-3 times a year. They do good work however........tired of the same style. I say I want "body" and every time! I leave looking like Madea! Pin curls be damned. I need someone with vision not judging by your age (51) and giving you old lady doo's. I have a head full of thick pretty hair but come on Ladies....!!
