2. Customer Service and Communication: Some customers expressed dissatisfaction with the way their complaints were handled. They felt intimidated or ignored when raising concerns. In conclusion, the strengths of African Hair Braiding place include quick service, positive results for some customers, and a professional and fun environment. However, the weaknesses are evident in inconsistent quality, poor customer service, hair damage, and pricing manipulation. These weaknesses raise concerns about the overall reliability and professionalism of the salon, and potential customers should consider these factors before deciding to visit.

The owners niece damaged my hair.
She used locking jam to braid.
Lines were uneven and braid were different in size.
When you complain they ALL will try to intimidate you.
They are a group of EVIL women.
Pretending to be religious.
Go at your own risk.
If you have natural long hair they will burn or cut it” Accidentally”
I think they are envious and jealous
I got my hair done last week and paid $180 for a simple style that indeed did not last at all. My natural hair is coming out of the braids which never happens when tucking the hair is properly executed. I spoke with manager however I am getting a run around about someone fixing my hair. Sadly I will not spend anymore money at this salon. Also I asked for the photo and this is what I got lol.
I tried to give them another chance to make it right so I went to them recently and they knotted up my hair so bad. My edges are falling out
Loved how my hair came out. Was recommended but a friend. Zema took great care of me. Definitely going back.
I went this this shop because my braiding shop I went to for years wasn’t available based on my crazy schedule so i came to this shop African Hair Braiding and they’re fast I got my hair done and went straight to work after I was out of the chair in less than 30 mins
I’m a happy customer!
My daughter and I have been going here off and on all year. Sad to say, 2 weeks ago was my last time going to this shop. Every time I go the quality of their braiding services are horrible. I went and was asked for pricing of 4 braids which she told me $90. So I left and as I’m leaving another worker stopped me and said she would do it for $70. So I came back in and she had a girl do my hair and it was so crooked she had to redo it. She didn’t care how she did my hair she was upset about the price change and did my hair any kind of way. Never again will I take my money there.
I ask for cornrows.. which that’s what I received but most of my parts aren’t straight n they uneven. She took down 3 braids n made the same mistake.. I know she seem the difference if I did and another lady.. But I waste my money n time! 100 I could have spent on the west side and got my money worth.. I was in need for a hair do ASAP .. because I’m due any day now.. Don’t waste your money here!!
I love this place! My mom had micro braids done today and she loved the professionalism and fun environment and how the ladies performed so quickly! I highly recommend coming here for excellent service!!!:)
I got my edges done here. Parts were uneven (some square/some round) the lengths were longer on the edges. My Knowles’s braids were so tight I couldn’t lift braid for ponytail baby hair pulled from root
