Quick Facts About Amy's Nails
Amy's Nails place, based on the comments provided, has both strengths and weaknesses. The strengths include friendly staff, talented nail technicians, reasonable prices, a clean salon, and attention to hand hygiene. On the other hand, the weaknesses include double booking and long wait times, difficulties with communication due to a language barrier, inconsistent quality of work, lack of hygiene practices, and instances of customer dissatisfaction.
One of the strengths mentioned in the comments is the friendliness of the staff. Multiple customers praised the employees for their positive attitudes, patience, and attentiveness. This indicates that the atmosphere at Amy's Nails is welcoming and customer-oriented.
Additionally, several comments highlight the skill and talent of certain nail technicians, with specific mention of Trina. The customers were satisfied with their nail designs and appreciated the efforts made to meet their requests. This demonstrates that the salon employs capable and creative individuals who can deliver quality manicures.
Another strength of Amy's Nails is the cleanliness of the salon. Customers appreciated the emphasis on hand-washing before and during services, which contributes to a hygienic environment. A clean salon is crucial for preventing the spread of germs and ensuring the safety of customers.
Reasonable pricing was also mentioned as a positive aspect of Amy's Nails. Customers were satisfied with the cost of services, particularly when considering the quality of the work performed. Affordable prices can drive customer loyalty and attract new customers.
On the other hand, weaknesses were identified through several comments. One recurrent issue was double booking and long wait times. Customers expressed frustration at having to wait for extended periods before receiving their treatments. This can be discouraging and negatively impact the overall customer experience.
Difficulties with communication due to a language barrier were also mentioned. This can create misunderstandings between customers and staff, making it challenging for customers to effectively communicate their preferences and concerns. Clear communication is essential for ensuring customer satisfaction.
In terms of the quality of services, there were instances of dissatisfaction. Some customers reported specific issues such as nails being cut too short, resulting in potential ingrown toenails, and signs of infection shortly after the service. Additionally, one customer expressed concern about the reuse of tools without proper sterilization, raising hygiene and safety concerns.
Another weakness brought up in the comments was the request for a tip. While tipping is customary in the nail salon industry, customers felt that it was inappropriate for the staff to ask for a tip directly. This can give the impression of pushiness and affect customer perceptions of the salon’s professionalism.
Furthermore, one comment described a negative experience where a customer's nails were filed incorrectly, resulting in bleeding and skin injuries. Additionally, the technician did not acknowledge the mistake or apologize. This reflects a lack of attention to detail and customer care.
In conclusion, Amy's Nails place has both strengths and weaknesses. The strengths include friendly staff, talented technicians, reasonable prices, a clean salon, and attention to hand hygiene. However, weaknesses include double booking and long wait times, difficulties with communication, inconsistent quality of work, lack of hygiene practices, and instances of customer dissatisfaction. This experience was frustrating from the start. They double booked appointments so I had to wait 30 minutes to even start. I will say that the ladies are nice enough, even though it's a little difficult to communicate because of the language barrier. I will not be going back to Amy Nails. EVER. After specifically telling the lady not to cut the corners on my nails, she did it anyways and made them WAY to short. I will ???? have an ingrown toenail, maybe 2. I'm also concerned because it has not even been a day and I think it's getting infected. My left big toe is starting to get red and angry. I wouldn't be surprised if it's infected though because as I sat waiting for my mom I saw the employee which had done my pedicure pick up her kit and go straight over to another customer and start workong on her feet using the same tools she had just used on my feet. She did not clean or sterilized them ????. Who knows what bacteria is growing on those tools. And at the end the lady asked for a tip. Now, I normally tip anyways but it's rude to ask. Basically don't go here if you want to avoid ingrown toenails and foot fungus.
This is my second time visiting Amy Nails. My first time, about a year and a half ago, a guy that worked there did a bad job with my dip in nails. Because of that, I never went back, however several people kept telling me how good they were so I decided to give them a chance ???? a lot changes in a one year and a half!????
I am so glad I decided to give them a chance ???? The woman that did my nails was very sweet and patient with the designed I asked for. ???? As you can see in the photos she did an awesome job and I love it! ???? I also like the fact that she didn't over file my nail. ????
The other ladies in the salon were friendly and the salon was very clean. I also like the fact that as soon as you go in they ask you to wash your hands and after they file your nails they also ask you to wash your hands.????
For the manicure with gel and two designs I paid $35! Love LOVE this place so I highly recommend it. Next month I'll be going for both mani and pedi so I'll keep this review updated with that ????
Staff is AMAZING! Trina is the best at nails! She can do any design!
Went to Amy's Nails and it was amazing!! Very professional and they did a great job at a reasonable price. I was there when they had a very rude customer. The employees were very attentive and respectful, even when she was not. Totally recommend!!
Love getting my nails done by Trina of Amy Nails. And, I love running into Vanny and her darling daughter, Charlie, 2.
This place is for you if a) you have all day or don't mind waiting 45-80 minutes for your appointment b) enjoy pain c) are not particular about how your nails look d) aren't worried about hygiene in general. First off, this place is busy which I took to be a good sign. But they take walk-ins while you are waiting for your appointment, get them started and then move on to you, holding the walk-in "hostage". I saw this happen repeatedly during the 2.5 hours I was there. My tech did not mind inflicting pain and injury - I have 3 bloody fingers to show for it. He could not get the white tips a consistent length and promised he could get rid of certain marks on the nail by doing a full set replacement - NOT! Lastly, all the techs use each others tools and although they had disinfectant liquid at their stations, they do not use it. The next customer will be getting their nails done with the same tools he made me bleed with! Yuck. NEVER GOING BACK.
8/8 - Seems like my photos were removed. Re-adding them.
The workers were amazing and my nails ended up so cute. Great service!! ????
Went in with my daughter today to get acrylic nails and a fill for me.
They did a terrible job. I will definitely not be going back.
First off we told them how to do my daughters nails the lady literally gave her stiletto nails (she’s 11) and she wanted a rounded shaped. Not only that but she filed her skin so badly that it was bleeding and is very badly split open. The lady did not apologize to her and acted like nothing happened.
Then with my nails I asked to keep the length I had and she took them way shorter then I wanted. One she took way shorter then the rest so my nails look lopsided. Also she kept burning my nail with the drill when she used it to file them. I kept pulling my finger away and she continued to burn me. They told me prices for their services before hand and then at checkout changed them I honestly didn’t even want to pay for them because both our nails looked terrible.
extremely Frustrating
