Quick Facts About Ardora Nail Lounge (old-name HOT Nails)

Ardora Nail Lounge, formerly known as HOT Nails, has both strengths and weaknesses based on the comments provided. The strengths of the salon include a wide range of options for nude acrylic colors and friendly and patient technicians who are willing to help clients find the right color for their manicure. The salon is also popular, clean, and well-staffed, creating a pleasant and lively atmosphere. The efficiency and quickness of the staff are also mentioned as positive aspects.
However, there are several weaknesses highlighted in the comments as well. One major issue is the rushed service. Multiple customers mentioned feeling as though their services were rushed, resulting in uneven nails, rough handling, and even bleeding. One customer specifically mentioned that their fingers were still sore 24 hours later. This lack of attention and care is a significant weakness for the salon.
Another weakness is the inconsistency in service quality. While some customers had positive experiences with certain technicians, others had terrible experiences with new or inexperienced employees. This inconsistency makes it difficult for customers to trust the salon consistently, and they may hesitate to return in the future.
The lack of attention to detail is another weakness. Customers mentioned issues with the application of nail polish, such as bubbles and thickness, as well as uneven shapes and designs. These are significant flaws that negatively impact the overall appearance and satisfaction of the customers.
Customer service is also brought up as a concern. Several customers mentioned snappy or rude behavior from the staff, along with a lack of organization and prioritizing certain customers over others. These negative interactions greatly affect the overall experience and may deter customers from returning.
Lastly, the pricing is mentioned as a weakness. One customer felt that the $95 price for their nails was too high, considering the quality of the set. This suggests that the salon may not be delivering value for the prices they charge, which can disappoint customers and drive them to seek services elsewhere.
In conclusion, while Ardora Nail Lounge has strengths such as a wide range of color options and a clean and well-staffed environment, there are significant weaknesses that should be addressed. These include rushed and inconsistent service, lack of attention to detail, poor customer service, and questions about value for the pricing. Improving these areas would greatly enhance the overall experience and reputation of the salon.

Best TL Reviews

I typically don't write reviews. However, I feel like there is something that needs to be said. I feel like each service was rushed. We called ahead to see if there was time for manicure and pedicure. They told us to head on in. We waited about 20 minutes. We got seated, we were not offered drinks, my mom was handed a menu of services to choose from, I wasn't. Someone came in after us and their nail tech talked to them, offered drinks, asked what they wanted etc. They were attentive and caring. Ours were quiet, hardly even said hi to us. It was a very awkward time spent. Pedicure was okay, rushed. Manicure was okay, my tech made me bleed a couple times with how rough she was handling me. My fingers are still sore 24 hours later. Asked for a basic polish manicure and somehow ended up with gel. It's fine it lasts a little longer and all that, but not what I asked for. My nails are bubbly and thick. They look weird. My mom's nails turned out great and she wasn't handled roughly like I was.
Not sure I would trust coming here again. Pictures are of my hands. You can visibly see where my cuticles were cut too far and pushed down roughly.
Ombré acrylic, coffin shape, with a clear gel top. I like that the acrylic was made thin, and that they cleaned up underneath with the drill as well. They even have deeper nude acrylic colors, so if you are a deeper damsel, you may find options here.
I was one of those difficult clients who couldn’t figure out a good nude color, as they all seemed too fair once they were on me—but everyone was super patient with me even though I changed my mind three times. Eventually I just asked Cindy what she was wearing and went with that. At least four technicians chimed in to help find the right color for me.
I definitely had to evaluate the color of the nude acrylic on one nail first, since they can look different when they are on you vs on the example. I didn’t want them to finish doing all nails before I asked for a different color, so I tried to let them know as soon as possible that I wanted a different color. Again, I did this three times and they were very patient with me. I really appreciate that, because I am usually too shy to ask.
Now I feel more comfortable, and will come back more often, so I can figure out a good color to use as my default manicure. They have a lot of options. I am forever on the hunt for a good medium-nude-skin-color acrylic that is not pink.
Also, this place is very popular, since it has good aesthetic and is clean and well-staffed—so the salon can get loud with everyone laughing, but I appreciate that they let me just zone out quietly and relax after work. Thank you Cindy!
I am so disappointed in this place. Paid over $40 for this horrific gel manicure. This is one of the absolute worst manicures I have ever received. I will never return and will never recommend this place. What a waste of money, I’m going to have to go get my nails redone somewhere else. Didn’t even last 4 days.
I have been coming here for awhile, and it can be a hit or miss depending on when you come, how busy they are, who does your nails, etc… but let me just say, Vien did my nails today and I’m in love! My nails looked pretty rough when I came in and he transformed them! Thank you Vien, Awesome job!! I will definitely be requesting you in the future!
Tom was amazing! I've tried four other nail salons in the area. They were all less than appealing. Tom did such an amazing job that I know Ardora will be my place for good. I did not need to show him a picture, I described what I wanted and it turned out perfect! He was fantastic and I will request him in the future. The salon was clean and friendly, I would definitely recommend people give it a try.
I absolutely love this place. Every time I get my nails done from them I have a great experience. They work efficiently and quickly which is absolutely amazing. Great work guys!
I’ve been going here for the last 7+ years and never really had an issue but I had a new girl today, Mi Mi, and I think she’s also a new hire, but she was honestly the worst person I’ve ever had my nails done by. First she rushed my entire full set so it did not turn out even, I have several nails that are crooked, she didn't do the shape, length, or color I wanted. Even after telling her multiple times. Then continued to cut me about 4 times because she was really messy with her drilling and buffing. She cured fuzz into my polish and made it bumpy. My nails are all different lengths as well. She was talking to her coworker the entire time so I couldn’t get a single word in. She also got up and left right in the middle of my set for about 5 mins while I had 2 fingers painted and uncured. I told her I did not want cuticle oil but she still put cuticle oil on then proceeded to ask me if I was going to tip her cuz she wanted cash (I tipped on card) which put me in a really awkward spot because I didn’t feel she deserved a tip at all. Overall a terrible experience, I will however keep going but only for the male workers because they are always amazing at their job.
I have been going to Adora for years but these last two experiences I have had there make me not want to come back for their services. The customer service is not there at all. Theyre snappy with their guest. Along with being snappy they have zero organization going on within their establishment, they skip customers that were there first to favor others. The nail techs are most of the time very attentive and care about how their nails look coming out and how the customers also feels. I use to go to adorda and ignore the customer service because the nails were that good but now that is not the case for me. Not to mention how you can see through my nails becuase the person working on them didnt want to do another coat and was rushing. You can see through them in the sunlight, I used a lamp to show you. Also the shape could be sharper, the design could be more even with the other designs. My usal person there will take the nail polish off if it doesn't look perfect. 95 dollar nails? This set is worth 65.
