Wir sind auf Empfehlung unserer Rezeptionistin ins Bar-S gekommen. Der Empfang war nicht besetzt und wir mussten kurz warten, wurden aber dann freundlich empfangen. Der Service war gewohnt freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Rib-Eye Steak war gut zubereitet und lecker. Die mashed potatoes waren tatsächlich nur zerdrückte, gekochte Kartoffeln. Der Chef Salat war sehr mächtig und die Zutaten nur sehr grob geschnitten. Unter 300 Gramm gibt es hier übrigens nur Filet. Es hat uns gefallen, war aber nicht so gut, wie die Beschreibung unserer Rezeptionistin erwarten ließ.
Very disappointed with this place,the country fried steak we order was completely burnt.i guess they tried to cover it with the gravy so we wouldn't noticed but the edges showed and it was burnt..how would anybody that wants to keep their customers happy can serve a piece of meat completely burnt! We ended up not paying for it but I think this is unprofessional and inconsiderate. We waited around 30mins to get served and that's what we got?sorry but it's not ok..
Environment was well below the price. It took 10 minutes for anyone to meet us at the "wait to be seated" sign. The wait for everything was ridiculously long. It took almost 2 hours for my son and me to eat. The prime rib was perfect, but the Chef salad was a bowl of meat and cheese slices.
Nice place with a rustic hunting lodge ascetic. Very Montanian. We had a sizable party for dinner on a friday nihjt without a reservation. With only a 5 min wait we were seated in the bar area which offers the most 'flair' per square inch. Staff was on point considering how busy they were. Everyone left well content.
first of all, upon entering this monstrosity , you immediately feel like you’re at the Lewis & Clark interpretive center. A “wilderness” painted toilet seat is hanging above the hallway entrance to the bathroom. Enough said. The entire facility is “decorated” head to toe in dead animals/taxidermy.
We ordered two filet mignon’s & mashed potatoes at approximately 7:10 pm. At 8:39 pm our food was still not at our table. Our server did not come by once to fill our waters or to even ask us how we are doing/check up with us about the wait. Screaming children everywhere, I’m not paying $90 for filet mignon’s so delayed, I could’ve conceived, gotten pregnant and given birth in the same amount of time. Absolutely ATROCIOUS. Will never step foot in this sad excuse for a “steak house” ever again in my life. If the ratings offered lower than a 1 star, I would’ve given 0. Immediately left and went to McDonald’s.
So this place is absolutely amazing with food and dinning.tho I’d look elsewhere for work. I’ve at least worked there for just under a year and everyone that worked there is fun and amazing but the two at the top seem to rather put you down mentally and will “get back at you” just cuz of something that was missed
Prices are no joke but neither is the portions or taste. The smell of the grilling steaks surrounds the building making your mouth water walking in. Nice little rustic feel
We come here every year we visit! Food is fantastic, service is awesome. Highly recommended.
