I really wanted tribal braids. I cut my locs a few months ago, so my hair is short. I went to another braiding salon, but I was told that my hair was too short and to do another hairstyle that I did not want. I searched for other braiding salons in Rocky Mount and found Bella's. I called and asked if they did tribal braids and I told the owner that I had short hair, she told me to come in and it could be done. Six hours later I left the shop looking like a new person. I got so many compliments on my hair, it has been a month now and I am still getting compliments. Give them a try you will not be disappointed.

Service is terrible, they’re late EVERY time, they do not do the hairstyle you ask for, they are so unprofessional!!! Prices fluctuate depends on the braider..smh never going there again and I’ve been a faithful customer for over a year, enough is enough!!

My braids are absolutely gorgeous. However, I had a tall dark skin pregnant African braider who had absolutely no manners or home training. She kept farting loudly over my head and never said excuse me. She is disgusting ???? I will never come back here again. Rude and nasty

I left a negative review last year and I wanted to do an update. Last year, I was upset because they didn't honor the appointment time. However, my hair looked great. This year I decided not to make an appointment. I just went to see was available to braid my hair. They were, 3 people braided my hair at once. My hair is fire ????. I always have them braid my hair. I started thinking, Brenda people calling them all the time saying they coming at a certain time and without a deposit, they have no way of knowing if the person is sincere or not. They are not updated where you go online and pay a deposit to ensure the appointment is honored. Yes, it would be better if they were upfront and say we are first come first serve. I know people call them all the time and say they are coming and don't show up. I have done it myself. This is how they make a living. In the future, I will just go on a weekday or try to be the first in line on the weekend.

I came in today and love my stylist Mina she very patient and very professional and takes her time. The conversation we held the entire time was amazing throughout the time she did my hair… she also kept my 9 year old smiling.. if u want your hair done go see her before she leaves and visit her hometown.

Came in today & received excellent service. My stylist name is Mina. She was very friendly & and knew exactly what to do. I presented her with a picture of what I wanted and the outcome was exactly what I asked for. I would definitely recommend Bella's. I'll be back. Come and try them for yourself. I have done my hair at this place three times for this year but my last experience was the worse and it not with the person doing my hair she did an excellent job and was very professional it was the owner she is Crooked , tell me one price then when I sit in the chair the day of my appointment she told me a different price even when I told her that’s not what she told me before and it I’m not the only one she did that to Won’t be going back there she’s greedy.
