Quick Facts About Bronxville Nails
Bronxville Nails Place is a nail salon that has received mixed reviews from customers. While some have praised the cleanliness, friendliness of the staff, and the quality of the services provided, others have had negative experiences with the salon, citing issues such as poor customer service, rushed service, and unsatisfactory results.
One consistent complaint among customers is the lack of attention to detail and rushed service. Multiple customers mentioned that their nail technicians seemed to be rushing through the service, which resulted in mistakes and a lack of precision. This is highlighted by comments such as "the nail tech seemed to be rushing every step" and "after putting the tips on incorrectly for two nails, she ripped them off." These experiences suggest that the salon may prioritize speed over quality, leading to subpar results.
Another common issue mentioned by customers is the lack of customer care and professionalism. The comments indicate instances where customers felt their concerns were not addressed or were met with hostility. One customer mentioned being shouted at by the salon receptionist, while another mentioned not receiving any apology or discount after being cut during the service. These incidents reflect a lack of customer service training and a disregard for the well-being and satisfaction of customers.
Hygiene is also a concern raised by some customers. One customer mentioned being given a used nail filer, which raises questions about the salon's adherence to proper sanitation practices. Given that hygiene is of utmost importance in a nail salon, this is a significant flaw that may deter potential customers from visiting.
Price is another factor that customers have brought up when discussing Bronxville Nails Place. While some have felt that the prices are justified by the quality of service received, others have found the salon to be too expensive. It is worth noting that one customer mentioned paying $75 for UV gel fill-ins and polish, which they considered to be pricier than expected. This indicates that the salon may not be cost-effective for everyone and could be a deterrent for those looking for more affordable options.
However, there are positive aspects of the salon that customers have highlighted. Some customers have praised the cleanliness and organization of the salon, noting that it creates a pleasant environment. Additionally, the friendliness and skill of certain staff members have been highlighted in comments such as "the nail techs here are very friendly!" and "ask for Tina, she was persistent and made sure my cuticles were perfect." These positive experiences indicate that there are individual staff members who go above and beyond to provide a satisfactory experience to customers.
In conclusion, Bronxville Nails Place has a range of strengths and weaknesses based on the comments provided. While the salon may have a quiet and relaxing atmosphere, cleanliness, and friendly staff, there are shortcomings in terms of rushed service, poor customer care, and potentially questionable hygiene practices. Additionally, the salon's prices may be off-putting for some customers. Therefore, potential customers should consider these factors before deciding to visit Bronxville Nails Place.
Best TL Reviews
I’ve been to this place a few times and every time I felt like their service kept getting worse, still decided to give it a chance because of the quiet atmosphere. The first red flag was the USED nail filer they used on me. I went in for SNS Powder nails with extensions. For starters the nail tech seemed to be rushing every step. I noticed this because my sister was doing her nails beside me and her nail tech was two steps behind mine. I kept flinching my hands away because she kept filing my skin, the nail tech seemed to not care that I was being hurt my her harsh filing. After so much pain endured what I was fearing finally happened, she cut me. No apology, courtesy discount or anything. I left the place bleeding from two fingers. Needless to say I will not be coming back.
Went here for the first time because of a few great reviews but I wish I listened to the bad ones. I called ahead and asked them if they could an SNS manicure with tips to add a little length and they said yes absolutely! The experience was so bad I left in tears. After putting the tips on incorrectly for two nails she ripped them off which not only hurts really badly but also rips off layers of the natural nail. Shouldve left then but decided to give a chance. Every nail was left at a different length and with uneven edges. I asked for square and skinny and both middle and ring fingers are round and very wide. I asked three times for her to fix them and she didnt. She cut my pinky finger and it started bleeding and then later when she filed that nail, she filed the cut which hurt so badly and she made it bleed again. After all that I still paid for their time and resources but was questioned why I didnt leave a tip so I explained and then left. I am so upset and wish I never went there.
I will not be returning to Bronxville nail salon after a bad experience today. I was shouted at by the salon receptionist because he thought I wanted a regular manicure after I requested a gel manicure. I felt very uncomfortable and so did the customer sitting next to me. A manicure which should be relaxing, was truly spoiled.
I never write bad reviews or reviews at all but I had to for this place. I should've listened to all the other bad reviews and never gone here. I got SNS powder done yesterday and the nail tech Emily cut my skin and continued to file over my skin so when I left all 10 of my fingers were bleeding around my cuticles. Today 2 of my nails broke and went back to get them fixed and the owner said it would be $10 because it was my fault they broke. They broke in less than 24 hours and its MY fault. I refused to pay and walked out but please do not waste your money here it is absolutely awful.
Very nice place with lovely staff. Not very many gel colors to choose from. Honestly, more expensive than I would have liked--- $75 for UV gel fill-ins and polish. A nice experience, but too pricey for me.
On the pricier side, but well worth it! Being from California, I’ve been on the hunt for my new local nail salon. This was my first time here, and I loved it! I had Lucy for both my regular pedicure and powder gel manicure! She was sweet, precise, and great. All the ladies are nice. It’s quieter so that makes it a relaxing salon. I will be regular here.
The nail techs here are very friendly! If she’s free, ask for Tina. She was persistent when cutting my cuticles; she went back like 8 times to make sure they were absolutely perfect. She gave me two base coats, three color coats and two top coats. My nails are so shiny and the paint isn’t thick. She took her time, she shaped them the way I like. I’m very pleased!!!
My new nail salon. Clean, organized, they do amazing gel manicures, pedicures and massages. The gentleman at the front always has a pleasant demeanor to greet you and the ladies are all very nice.
