Quick Facts About Burbank Barber Shop
Burbank Barber Shop has several strengths that contribute to its positive reputation. First, customers praise the shop for its simplicity and professionalism. It is described as a "quaint and professional barbershop" that does not have unnecessary frills or gimmicks. This focus on quality skills and polite workers creates a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere for customers.
Another strength of Burbank Barber Shop is its affordability. Multiple reviewers mention that the prices are reasonable, which makes it a desirable option for those seeking a haircut without breaking the bank. The combination of skilled barbers and affordable prices makes Burbank Barber Shop an attractive choice for customers who value both quality and affordability.
The shop is also commended for its ability to accommodate walk-ins. Customers appreciate the convenience of not needing to make reservations and being able to walk right in for a haircut. This flexibility is seen as a positive aspect of the business and contributes to its popularity.
Many customers highlight the quality of the haircuts they receive at Burbank Barber Shop. Several reviewers mention that they have had the best haircuts of their lives at this establishment. The barbers are praised for their ability to listen to the customers' desired haircut and execute it flawlessly. The attention to detail, willingness to make adjustments, and expertise of the barbers are highly valued by customers.
However, there are also some weaknesses that have been mentioned by customers. One major concern is the inconsistency in service depending on the barber. One reviewer mentions that while the cuts are usually really good, there is a disparity in the time it takes for different barbers to complete the same haircut. This can result in varying wait times for customers and a potential risk of not being satisfied with the outcome if they end up with a less experienced barber.
Another weakness that has been identified is the lack of knowledge and expertise in cutting certain hairstyles. One customer, specifically referencing a top fade and shadow fade, felt that the barber did not understand the style they wanted. This highlights a potential gap in the barbers' knowledge and skills, particularly in catering to specific styles and needs of diverse customers. One reviewer, who is black, advises against getting a haircut at this shop if you require styling, implying a lack of proficiency in dealing with Black hair.
Additionally, the change in ownership of the shop has led to negative comments from customers. One reviewer mentions that since the original owners sold the shop, it has not been as good as it used to be. This suggests a decline in the quality of service or overall satisfaction since the change in ownership.
In conclusion, Burbank Barber Shop has several strengths that contribute to its positive reputation, including its professionalism, affordability, ability to accommodate walk-ins, and high-quality haircuts. However, there are also weaknesses, such as inconsistencies in service depending on the barber, a potential lack of expertise in certain hairstyles and hair types, and a decline in quality after a change in ownership. These factors should be taken into consideration by potential customers when deciding whether to visit this establishment.

Quaint and professional barbershop. No unnecessary frills or gimmicks just quality skills and polite workers. I have a history of having difficulty conveying my desires for a haircut but with a photo the barbers were able to work with me so I always end up looking my best. Plus it's affordable I don't know why you would need to go anywhere else.
Great little gem in Burbank.. it’s cash only but they take very good care of you.
Accepts walk ins, the cuts are REALLY good. Reasonably priced. But BOY you are rolling the dice if you just go with the next available barber. I've had cuts that have gone from 10 minutes to 45 minutes for the exact same cut. Different barbers. So be prepared for that.
I only gave this place 2 Stars because the person cutting my hair was nice. I should of walked out when it was my turn when he didn’t even own a hair pick and he also didn’t know what I was asking for when I was trying to describe a top fade and a shadow fade. I guess the place had been bought by someone else so I didn’t even realize they were under new ownership. I was just in a hurry to get to work and didn’t want to walk in with messy hair because I didn’t have a hat. If you are black and need styling this is not the place to get a cut. Thank you though.
My teenager went there once and has been a regular ever since. Great barbers at an affordable price.
Genuinely the best haircut that I have ever received. They listened to how I wanted my (way past due) haircut to look. They checked their work, made slight adjustments, and unlike barbers who simply do want they are familiar with, regardless of what you ask for, these folks are experts. My son recommended them to me and he was right.
I have been coming here for years. They all do a great job and are super nice. It does get packed if you are waiting for a specific barber but sometimes you can walk right in and get clipped. Cash only, No reservations.
*****Update 10/18****
Original owners have sold off shop. New barbers. Not nearly as good as it used to be.
Awesome place. Edward was a true artist, but everyone seemed top-notch. Was so comfortable and at home (on my first visit, even), the cold beer they gave me felt only unusual on the way out the door. recommended.
