I had a very unfortunate experience with Carlisle Beauty this week. I went in for sun-kissed partial highlights that could grow out and a trim. I left looking grey with hard bleach lines covering my entire head. The stylist didn’t seek to understand or educate. Once she heard highlights, she started the layers of hard lined foils and didn’t take the time to weave the sections. My haircut was less than acceptable. As seen in the first two pictures taken after leaving Carlisle, my hair was jagged and uneven. I wasn’t aware until my mom took a picture and showed me.
I was distraught and couldn’t sleep through the night. Generations Salon was able to get me in today and saved the day! Sydnee was amazing! She smudged my roots, added a toner and low lights. I love it and I’m ready for family pictures.
I talked to the owner and stylist who did my hair and they were very understanding. They listened to me and were kind enough to offer a $50 refund. I was treated very kindly, but I can never return to the salon. The poor job cost a lot to fix. I didn’t plan on having to pay double for what could had been a very simple job. As a mother, it’s not just about the money but time. I had to use an additional day running around, finding a sitter and dealing with the stress.

I love getting haircuts here, and Karlee is my favorite. I had had a couple of so-so pixie haircuts at a different salon, and then I went to Carlisle, and Karlee gave me the best pixie cut. I absolutely loved it. She has cut my 5-year-old's hair as well, and I got a pedicure/manicure from her yesterday, which was a great experience. She is easy-going, professional, and fun to chat with. Mrs. Carlisle, the salon owner, is also very friendly and helpful. I just love this salon.
Okay, so I hate to do this but I had a horrible hair cut, just a week ago. I got in with a lady named Brandy, I believe. I have curly hair and almost as soon as I sat down in her chair, she brushed out my curls and proceeded to cut my hair dry and extremely frizzy. I was too shocked to say anything. Once my hair was cut, she took her spray bottle and sprayed my hair twice and sent me on my way. At one point she even mentioned that her scissors were very dull. With my hair curly it's so uneven, I wish I had a picture of it to put here. Yet, I do have a picture of it straight and how awful it looks. I will continue to go here and get my hair cut here because I've had great experiences, but I will never ever let Brandy touch my hair again.

this place actually used to do a great job and had great customer service. It’s clearly deteriorated over the years. I will no longer be going here. When trying to reschedule my appointment the woman on the phone was 100% unprofessional and rude. The attitude was enough for me to no longer take my business here. Which is fine considering the quality of services are not what they used to be.

I felt really rushed. I cant remember the stylist name. She never introduced herself. I cant say she was super nice. There was no styling, my hair was barely blow dried. She didn't even ask. I just wanted a haircut to maintain the current style, and that's what I got. In and out. Very impersonal.
The owner Sherry, was super nice. She is always super pleasant. And greets me all the time. Overall, it's a nice salon and there are several stylist. So if you dont like the service from one. There is always other options for next time.
