Quick Facts About D'Love Gourmet Coffee 'n' Ice Cream
D'Love Gourmet Coffee 'n' Ice Cream place has a number of strengths and weaknesses based on the comments provided. In terms of strengths, the first comment highlights the deliciousness of the food and ice cream. The orange sherbet ice cream, chai milkshake, tamales, and cookies and cream ice cream in a chocolate waffle cone are all mentioned as amazing. Additionally, the cleanliness of the cafe is appreciated, both inside and in the bathrooms. The availability of two nice cafe tables outside with umbrellas is also a positive feature.
However, there are also several weaknesses that are mentioned by customers. One common complaint is the slow service. Some customers mention that there is only one person working, and the husband of the person working is often seen just sitting there without offering to help, even when there is a line. This leads to frustration and multiple complaints. Another weakness mentioned is the lackluster flavor and small size of the pork tamales. One customer expresses the need to order three orders of tamales before feeling full.
Pricing is another weakness mentioned by customers. One person mentions that the prices at D'Love Gourmet Coffee 'n' Ice Cream place are a little high compared to other options in the area. Another person states that they found an equally delicious hot chocolate for 25% less at a ski resort. The pricier side of the classic pretzel with cheese is also mentioned, although it is noted as being worth it due to its nostalgic and delicious taste.
Customer service is another area of weakness for D'Love Gourmet Coffee 'n' Ice Cream place. One comment describes a negative interaction with the lady working at the cafe. She is described as inattentive and rude when an order for a smoothie is requested. She rolls her eyes and fails to provide the smoothie promptly. Additionally, she is said to be rude to another customer who inquires about muffins. This negative experience leads the comment author to take their money elsewhere and decide not to spend any more money at the cafe.
Lastly, there are some mixed reviews regarding the ice cream and gelato selection. Some customers mention that the selection is pretty good with about 15 total flavors. However, others comment on the high price of a single cone, which is described as a little under $5. This is seen as expensive for the amount of ice cream received.
In conclusion, D'Love Gourmet Coffee 'n' Ice Cream place has strengths in terms of its delicious food and ice cream, cleanliness, and outdoor seating. However, weaknesses in the form of slow service, lackluster tamales, high prices, and poor customer service are also mentioned. These comments provide a comprehensive understanding of both the positive and negative aspects of D'Love Gourmet Coffee 'n' Ice Cream place.

Stopped in during a road trip and loved everything we got from this unassuming little cafe. Orange sherbet ice cream, chai milkshake, tamales, cookies and cream ice cream in a chocolate waffle cone. Amazing. Though it looked dated inside, it was clean. Bathrooms available for customers, reasonably clean. Two nice cafe tables outside with umbrellas.
I wouldn't come back. There is one person working, who I'm assuming is the wife and another person, who I assume is the husband, just sitting there. Even if there is a line, he doesn't offer to help. The service is super super slow. Multiple people complained outside and directly to the lady.
I ordered the pork tamales. There was nothing special. The flavor didn't wow me and they were small. I would need to put in three orders before being full.
We wound up walking to Buchis, down the street, for a proper breakfast.
I can recommend this place just know that you might be paying a premium and I’m not sure it’s worth it. Came here for a hot chocolate and it was really good. Nice little shop and friendly service. I took off a star just because they are priced a little high and there are other options elsewhere. For example I got an equally delicious hot chocolate on the mountain at the ski resort for about 25% less than they charged here.
Didn’t know I was craving a classic pretzel with cheese until I walked by. Nostalgic and delicious. It was definitely on the pricier side but worth it
We came in and got breakfast and coffee spent about 50$. My little sister didn’t really like her coffee so she wanted to order a smoothie. She asked the lady for a smoothie she rolled her eyes and said “give me a sec.” Keep in mind we are the only people in there besides one gentleman who walked in while we were eating. He asked if they had any muffins etc before he had saw the display and the lady literally rolled her eyes at him too…. She helped him and then my little sister is still standing there waiting for her smoothie and she looks at her and says “did you need something..” my sister said “yeah… my smoothie… “ and then she rang her up and it was $4 more than what the sign said.. We said never mind and took our money elsewhere. SUPER RUDE. We were excited to come back and try the gelato and tamales but we will not be spending any more of our money in there.
Pretty good ice cream selection, plus shakes and malts
4/5 is pretty accurate. I too encountered the lady who was pretty rude, although she got much friendlier after she saw I tipped. Gelato was decent and yes a little on the expensive side (as mentioned in other reviews). I might come back, but wouldn't go out of my way.
Decent selection of ice cream and gelato, about 15 total flavors. A little pricy for the amount you get though (single cone is a little under $5).
