Quick Facts About Diamond Spa & Nails

Strengths:
1. Excellent customer service: Many customers mentioned that the owners, Kim and her husband Steve, are very friendly and provide great customer service. They take their time to make sure customers are satisfied and happy with their nails.
2. Calm and beautiful atmosphere: Commenters praised the salon's atmosphere, describing it as beautiful and calm. They also mentioned that there are TVs available for customers to watch, adding to the relaxing environment.
3. Honest wait times: Customers appreciated that the salon provides honest wait times, unlike other salons that may give inaccurate estimates. This shows that the salon values transparency and respects their customers' time.
4. Reasonable prices: Multiple reviewers commented on the salon's reasonable prices, indicating that the services offered are affordable. This makes the salon accessible to a wide range of customers.
5. Cleanliness: Several reviewers mentioned that Diamond Spa & Nails is always clean, which is an important factor in a nail salon. A clean environment ensures that customers feel comfortable and safe during their visit.
Weaknesses:
1. Inconsistent service quality: One customer mentioned that they had been going to the salon for two years but noticed a decline in the service quality recently. They experienced raised prices, harsh treatment during the pedicure, and the use of illegal tools. This inconsistency in service quality can be a significant drawback for customers.
2. Lack of attention to detail: One reviewer complained about their manicure experience, stating that the nail technician didn't use cuticle softener or soak their fingers in warm water. They also had to ask for a second coat and for the edges of their nails to be cleaned up. This lack of attention to detail and incomplete service can be frustrating for customers seeking a pampering experience.
3. Dependence on specific technicians: Another customer mentioned that their experience depended on the technician performing the service. They had a bad experience where their foot was scraped painfully and the shellac manicure didn't last as long as expected. This suggests that the quality of service can vary depending on the technician assigned, which can be a downside for customers who expect consistent quality.
4. Gems and clear coat durability: One customer complained that the gems and clear coat on their nails didn't last long, with the gems falling off within a couple of days. They also noticed that the clear coat peeled off after a week, and the overall durability of the nails was not satisfactory. This indicates a potential issue with the longevity and durability of the salon's nail services.
In conclusion, Diamond Spa & Nails has strengths such as excellent customer service, a beautiful atmosphere, honesty regarding wait times, reasonable prices, and cleanliness. However, there are weaknesses in terms of inconsistent service quality, lack of attention to detail, reliance on specific technicians, and durability issues with certain nail services. The salon has received positive reviews overall, but improvements can be made to address the mentioned weaknesses and ensure a more consistent and high-quality experience for customers.

Best TL Reviews

Diamond Spa and Nails is the best!! I love going here! They are my regulars now :) Kim and her husband are the sweetest and always make my nails look AMAZING!! The atmosphere is beautiful and calm, they have tv to watch and everything. I am never disappointed when I come here! This is the BEST nail salon in Cape Coral! I’ve never had a bad experience here <3 They even let my babies come inside as I get my nails done! 10/10 !!
I moved to Cape Coral in 2021 and am so thankful to have found this nail salon! Even when it’s super busy, I’ve never felt rushed and they always take their time to make sure my nails look right and I’m happy. I usually call ahead same day for an appt but when I’ve waited, they are the only nail salon that actually gives honest wait times. Most say “10-15 minutes” and that can easily turn into 45-60 minutes. Kim and Steve are the sweetest people and everyone on staff does an amazing job. And, to top it all off, prices are reasonable and it’s always clean! This is the only salon I trust and highly recommend.
I've been going to this place for 2 years now and usually love it but the past few times the service quality has really gone down. First every time I come my pedicure always cost more (constantly raising prices) I do gel toes as well and lately they don't soak them off at all and just sand them down harshly which hurts and is very damaging to my nails, they tried to use illegal metal foot scraper on me and just overall the pedicure hurt so bad, very rough. Sadly think I'll be going elsewhere from now on.
When it comes to businesses, first impression is VERY important.
After reading reviews, I decided to make an appointment with Kim for Gel manicure. I even called to confirm my appointment. But because she was with another customer, I got my nails by someone else; not by choice though. I have gotten my nails done for 10+ years. But this was my first time someone didn't use cuticle softener or soak my fingers in warm water. He just cut my cuticles dry.
I know some people are good with French manicure free-hand, but he literally just polished half of my nails. I had to ask him to clean it up to make the edges better. I also had to ask him to apply second coat to bring out true color and coverage.
I get manicures to feel pampered but he was done within 20 minutes.
I gave 2 stars because my husband, who was with me at the time, enjoyed his pedicure with Maria.
My Mom and I have been going here since I was in high school . (Way before pandemic ) Steve and Kim are always so friendly and do a great job! I only pop in for occasions usually and they are always so sweet! I Always make an appointment because when I am there I have seen them get too busy where they can’t accept walk ins or it’s a long wait time if you do walk In , (I usually go after 4 ) they do accept them if they aren’t booked up. they have limited staff like everywhere else lol so I HIGHLY suggest making an appointment!! Never had any out of the ordinary problems here , always a reliable place to go in my experience!!
One of the first times I went there was a great visit. I like that they have a bunch of massage chairs and the atmosphere is nice. The prices are very reasonable, but at times I believe you get what you pay for. The last time I was there was a year ago, and it was god-awful. I think a person's experience with this place depends on who they have doing their nails. The one that was doing my nails this time was a younger person who either had a bad night the night before or just wasn't good. First off, when they did my pedicure, they scrubbed on the left side of my foot under my big toe area and gave me a big scrape with their pumice stone, which I didn't realize was there until after I left, and it took a few days to heal, it was very painful. Also, I had shellac done and normally when I've done shellac last several times at different places, it can last for a month. The shellac I had done with this person lasted only 2 weeks. The person laid it on so thick that it lifted from near my finger, which is a big No-No because when it's thick near the finger like that, it lifts easier from activities and what you do. The person seemed very disoriented and even dropped liquids into their lap while I was there. I tried to be nice about this because they were very nice to me, but really if you're going to go to this place, I would make sure that the person you are using is more mature and experienced. I go to another nail salon now that does their manicures and pedicures very differently, where polish is applied first, and then the trimming of cuticles and scrubbing is done afterward. I trust their system more for health reasons and my nails have lasted longer than any other place I've been to.
Clear coat peeled off of half my nails after a week, EVERY NAIL chipped by the 7th-8th day, gems didn’t last 2 days. I even went back after 1-2 gems fell off and they put a new set on and the girl told me not to get them next time because your hair causes them to fall out….ok well gems all fell out again 2 days later so maybe she’s right but don’t let me get them and charge me an astronomical amount then….Don’t waste your hard earned money. $60 down the drain…I’ll never go back….. I went somewhere else and they said there’s barely any powder on my nails….
Got my nails did at Diamond! Great staff and service!
