Quick Facts About Diva Nails

Diva Nails has both strengths and weaknesses, as demonstrated by the comments provided. In order to analyze these strengths and weaknesses, I will organize them into different categories.
Strengths:
1. Pricing: One commenter mentioned that the pricing at Diva Nails was fair, indicating that the salon offers affordable services. This could be a significant strength, as it may attract customers who are looking for budget-friendly options.
2. Good job on nails: Another comment mentioned that Diva Nails did a good job on their nails. This suggests that the salon has skilled technicians who can provide quality nail services. Good workmanship is an important strength for any nail salon.
3. Accommodating and caring staff: A positive comment highlighted the staff member who is caring and accommodating towards customers. This showcases excellent customer service, as the staff member assisted an elderly woman and made her feel comfortable. This kind-heartedness could be a valuable strength for Diva Nails.
Weaknesses:
1. Painful service: One comment described the service at Diva Nails as extremely painful. This indicates that the salon may not prioritize customer comfort during nail services. Painful experiences can deter customers from returning and be detrimental to the salon's reputation.
2. Poor service quality: Several comments mentioned issues with the quality of service provided at Diva Nails. Complaints included messy top coats, improper nail shaping, and poor attention to detail. These factors suggest that the salon may have inconsistent service quality, undermining customer satisfaction.
3. Unprofessional behavior: Another comment highlighted unprofessional behavior by the staff, such as using cell phones during services and discussing personal matters in a loud and distracting manner. This detracts from the overall customer experience and may erode trust in the salon.
4. Unsatisfactory hygiene and cleanliness: Comments mentioned factors such as a dirty towel, a musty smell, and flies in the salon. These aspects indicate a lack of attention to hygiene and cleanliness, which can leave customers feeling uncomfortable or concerned about their health and safety.
5. Communication issues: A comment mentioned that the staff members were communicating with each other in a foreign language. While it is common for employees to speak in their native language, the perception of exclusion or lack of transparency can be off-putting to some customers.
6. Inconsistent pricing and pressure to purchase products: One comment mentioned that the salon overcharged for their services and pressured customers to buy additional products. These practices can create a negative impression and diminish trust in the salon's pricing practices.
Based on these comments, Diva Nails has significant weaknesses to address. The salon should prioritize customer comfort, improve service quality and attention to detail, maintain a clean and hygienic environment, encourage professional behavior among staff, and ensure transparent communication with customers. Addressing these weaknesses will help Diva Nails enhance its overall reputation and customer satisfaction levels.

Best TL Reviews

I will NEVER return to this place EVER AGAIN. The service was EXTREMELY PAINFUL. She kept messing up my top coat so I gave her 3 chances to fix it. Can you believe I spent about 3hrs giving her a chance to fix it and kept telling her to change the top coat because it was lumpy. She had the nerve to literally tell me to purchase it next door at Sally’s. I told her what are you talking about. You need to go buy it. WTFFFFFF She told me it would be no charge if she didn’t get it right the 3rd time. It came out lumpy the 3rd time so she then goes to the back and starts crying and screaming on the phone with her boss. She then goes to sally to cry to them next door and they straight told her you need to make your customer happy and fix it. She then goes outside and starts her screaming cry again to her boss on the phone saying I won’t pay her. I’m late to pick up my family from the airport. I was LIT!!! This is the worst painful customer service and I highly don’t recommend anyone going here. Sally’s employees says they get compliments from customers going there. They also did not recommend this nail salon. This mail tech got serious issues and needs to get her head examined!!!!!
So this is my first time getting acrylics. I dont have high standards, so if you are a harsh critic of nail salons this review probably wont apply to your standards. The employees are trying to get customers to come in because of covid they have no business. I was offered a $5 eyebrow wax. Afterwards I asked how much a full set of nails were. For the most basic she said $35. She pushed my cuticles back and I got plastic tips because I have short nails, she shaped them into ovals like I asked and then she used pink dip powder and a gel top coat. I ended up paying $45. She (Nancy) was really nice and didn't try to sell me anything. FYI I have very dry cuticles so that's why the area around my nails look so crummy.
DO NOT GO HERE! After 3 years of doing my own nails I thought I would pop into salon I had used years ago and treat myself. Big mistake. First when I sat down the towel was dirty at the station I had to sit at. Then the manager used a acrylic drill to take off my gel polish instead of soaking it. She went on to say how thin my nails where because of the way I did my own nails. No, it’s because you used a harsh drill to take off gel. She filed my nails like she was a toddler. They were different length, shapes and some were sharp on corners. Then I asked if I could pick a color and she let me. I picked a color and she used a totally different color which I said this is not the color to her. She told me it was the same color just a different DND number. To my knowledge that does nothing happen. I told her I did not like it so she painted over the color with another color. She apparently couldn’t see because she was missing the corners of nails and I had to keep reminding her to paint the whole nail. During the painting of my nails she kept disappearing on her phone because apparently some lady moved into her house and was brining men home when she would leave. This went on for like 15 mins and I had to ask the other girl if she was coming back. Very unprofessional, they do not care about the quality of the service they give to their trusting clientele. I posted pictures of the shape of my nails and how she painted my cuticles and could see the other color under it and the globs of top coat. I was extremely embarrassed on how my nails looked that I had to go home and do them again. When I soaked off the gel the right way my nail beds had groves where she used the drill. After all of that I still had to pay. Biggest waste of time and money. Do not go here. Save your nails and your money!
They were under staffed and trying to work on multiple people at once, but they did do a good job on my nails. The only other thing was that they don’t cut your cuticles. They use the tool but only barely trim the sides. Nothing for the top of the nail which is what I personally was hoping for. Overall though, I would go back. Their pricing is also very fair
This place was amazing... Offered me a free manicure if I got a pedicure! It sounded too good to be true. Now that I'm thinking about it, it truly was too good to be true! Butchered my nails on my feet and hands alongside pushing the sale of a product which I was not interested in. I am aware of fungi and skin health so don't try to convince me to buy an Asian lotion that would give me the solution. To top it all off the two solanist working we're communicating amongst each other in a foreign language. I was wondering why the salon was so bare and not busy being open during this CoronaVirus and there's clear evidence of why. Definitely not worth a try.
Clear evidence of the toe having some blood residue and the thumb being cut lopsided.
I think people need to run, not walk away from this place. I went into this place wanting a pedicure and walked out with Edward Sizzor hands. No joke, my nails looked like a bunch of melted candles. The person who did my nails was from start to finish on her cell phone about some guy that was making her very upset and also very distracted. I know more about her personal life than I do about close friends. The manager on the phone said to "hurry" through it. It was a large waste of money and repaired it cost me $28. They fell off 1 afterwards because they had no strength. Please see for yourself. The picture says it all.
I absolutely love the woman who works at this place. She genuinely cares about her customers and will accommodate to their needs. While I was getting my nails done, an elderly woman came into the shop and clearly needed assistance. She ran right over to that elderly woman and helped her into a chair and adjusted the chair so the woman could sit comfortably. She does her work in a timely manner and was able to manage three chairs all on her own. She is an incredible human being and any other review you may read are inconsiderate and rude. Her business was perfectly clean, all equipment was labeled, and she is clear on what she will do during your time there. I do hope if you are reading this that you consider going to this nail salon because she is just such a kind-hearted woman who deserves the world :). She literally talks to you like you’re an old friend, yet this is the first time I’ve ever met her. Thank you, thank you thank you!
Wow, super horrible experience. $20 special was an overcharge for the low end serves (even as a special). Everything all the other reviewers were stating is completely true. I went in on a last minute decision (sadly without reading others reviews prior). Multiple red flags from musty smell to flies everywhere. It's cash only which isn't stated anywhere or said to me until I was trying to pay( ATM they have in back very suspicious). To many other things to list, please don't waste your money even worst your time on this location. The single worker (a woman of Asian decent) said she was moving to locations near by the Hillcrest center by baker bens donuts so keep an eye out. Hope this helped, best wish with you're decision making.
