Quick Facts About Dominican Beauty Salon

The strengths of Dominican Beauty Salon, as mentioned in the comments, include the cleanliness of the salon, the professionalism of the employees, and their ability to make hair grow. Customers appreciate the nice and clean environment, which creates a pleasant atmosphere for relaxation and pampering. The professionalism of the staff is highly praised, with Cindy being specifically mentioned as the best. This indicates that the employees have the necessary skills and expertise to provide quality hair care services.
Another strength mentioned is the ability of the salon to work with different hair types. Customers with a variety of hair textures, such as 4c and 3c, have reported positive experiences, suggesting that the salon is proficient in working with a range of hair types. The comment about the wonderful hair wash and detangling for 15 minutes or more indicates that the salon pays attention to detail and takes the time to properly care for customers' hair.
The fact that some customers are repeat clients showcases customer loyalty, which can be seen as a strength of the salon. The person who mentioned going to the salon regularly for healthy hair growth demonstrates that the salon has built a positive reputation among its clients and is able to retain their business. Additionally, the positive experience of a first-time customer who plans on returning implies that the salon has the ability to make a great impression and attract new clients.
However, there are some weaknesses that need to be addressed. The comment about the neighborhood being a downfall suggests that the salon may be located in an area with safety concerns. This can negatively impact the overall experience for clients who may feel unsafe or uneasy during their visit. Addressing this weakness could involve implementing security measures or considering relocating to a safer area.
Another weakness highlighted in the comments is the issue of communication and customer service. One customer reported a lack of communication and poor customer service when it came to the washing and conditioning process. This resulted in the customer feeling frustrated and dissatisfied with the service received. The comments also mention instances of rude behavior and possibly discriminatory treatment towards a black customer. These incidents indicate a lack of professionalism and inclusivity within the salon. Improving communication and customer service skills, as well as addressing any potential issues of discrimination, can help overcome this weakness and create a more welcoming and respectful environment for all customers.
In conclusion, Dominican Beauty Salon has strengths in terms of cleanliness, professionalism, and the ability to work with different hair types. Additionally, the salon has loyal and satisfied customers who appreciate the quality of service provided. However, weaknesses in terms of safety concerns in the neighborhood and issues with communication and customer service need to be addressed to improve the overall experience for clients.

Best TL Reviews

I love this place nice, clean and very professional they will make your hair grow. Cindy is the best.
The ladies are amazing! They do a great job. Biggest downfall is the neighborhood the business in in. So sad that you have to have all eyes on your belongings. You can't take a moment to really relax and enjoy yourself while you are being pampered by the lovely ladies.
My hairdresser she is nice plus I loved my hair she did a great job...carmen..
Went here today on a whim. The owner was able to manage and blow out my 4c hair really well.
It came out great. The other young lady who did my sisters 3c hair was good too, she just needed to be careful with the heat on the hair and brush. However her washing was phenomenal and she detangled well. All in all, it was a good experience.
If you are a black person run. I went in there yesterday to get a quick wash and blow out, and the price was $50. But I didn’t mind paying because one: I am going on vacation and two: I am just being lazy lol , but that not even the point. So one of the ladies had to wash my hair and she started and stop when it came to the condition part. So I look up like what happen and she said sit over there. So I was confuse because she went and started doing someone else hair that just walk in. So I am sitting there for like 10 mins with conditioner in my hair while she washing and set up roller in someone else hair. So the other lady goes and try to blow out my hair , and I had to stop her and tell her “no my hair still got conditioner in it”. So she wash it out and started blow drying my hair. In mid way of blowing out my hair, she also too stops and tells me to move to another chair and start doing some else hair that just walk in after me. So I was just fed up by the lack of communication and horrible customer service. So I told the manager “I am going to walk out because I do not like the service that being provided”. She then tells the other lady in English and said “finish her hair”. That when everybody in the store started speaking Spanish and being very rude. Saying the n word in Spanish and rolling eyes. The cleaning guy for the store came up to me and was like “I am so sorry for the treatment that u received and it just that some of them don’t speak English well”. I then said “that’s crazy because she told her in English to finish my hair and she translates to u my problem, so even if she can’t understand English she could of translate to you why every time she and the other lady had to stop doing my hair correct ?”and I also stated it might be a race thing because I am black and my hair is thicker”. He then stated “I guess your right” and held his head down and walk away. Even though the lady apologized to me , she still didn’t give me a explanation to why they kept stopping my hair to do someone else’s hair that walk in the store, when everybody else that was Spanish still kept getting there hair done. For a $50 experience, I as a black women would never step in that store again, and any black women should not either.
Very happy with my hair cut and the great customer service. It was my first time going there, I will be going there anytime I'm looking to do my hair from now on.
They have a wonderful person that washes your hair as if you are having a head massage for about 15 or more minutes. It feel so wonderful and extremely good really I don’t have the words to express how satisfying I felt.My hair was done with care and I was very happy.I am older now and I do live in the building so I do go to them sometimes and they do a great job.????
