Quick Facts About Erika's Dog-Gone Grooming Salon

Erika's Dog-Gone Grooming Salon has several strengths and weaknesses that can be identified from the comments provided.
One of the major strengths of Erika's Dog-Gone Grooming Salon is the care and attention they give to the animals. One comment mentions how Erika and her team took the time to groom and care for a service dog, even going so far as to trim the claws on a black cat. This demonstrates their commitment to providing quality and personalized services to each pet. Additionally, another comment praises Erika for being personable and professional, showing that the staff members are knowledgeable and create a positive and friendly environment for the animals and their owners.
Another strength of Erika's Dog-Gone Grooming Salon is their ability to handle nervous pets. A customer mentions that the staff immediately took action when sensing their dog's nervousness. This shows that the team is skilled in handling anxious pets and can provide a calming and reassuring experience for them.
The salon also receives praise for their professionalism and friendliness. A customer mentions that the staff was not only professional but also very friendly. This indicates that the salon creates a welcoming and comfortable environment for both the pets and their owners, which can contribute to a positive grooming experience.
Additionally, the comment about the groomers' ability to handle a difficult dog who does not cooperate with nail clipping showcases the salon's expertise. This suggests that the team at Erika's Dog-Gone Grooming Salon is skilled in handling challenging behaviors and can still provide a professional grooming service despite these difficulties.
Although there are several strengths mentioned, there is also one significant weakness highlighted in a negative review. The customer describes a negative experience where their dog was allegedly half-cut and became terrified during the grooming session. They claim that the groomer cut the dog's hair unevenly and used clippers, causing the dog to become fearful. The customer also states that they were unhappy with the response from the salon's owner, describing it as unprofessional. This negative experience reflects a lack of attention to detail and sensitivity to the dog's comfort, which can be seen as a major weakness.
However, it is important to note that the negative review is just one comment among several positive ones. It is crucial to consider various opinions and experiences when assessing the strengths and weaknesses of a business.
Overall, Erika's Dog-Gone Grooming Salon appears to have many strengths, including their caring and personalized approach to grooming, their ability to handle nervous pets, and their professionalism and friendliness. However, the negative review highlights a potential weakness in the salon's attention to detail and sensitivity to the comfort of the animals. This may be an area that the salon could work on to improve their overall customer satisfaction.

Best TL Reviews

I've had my Service Dog Maddie groomed by a few folks before but never has anyone took the time and actually cared the way Erika and her team do! They even trimmed the claws on my big black cat that's a bit of a Divo. I will be coming back and telling everyone about Erika's! Also, she's on the end of the building your GPS takes you to, NEXT DOOR to the barber shop.
Love Erika's grooming. SHE is personable, professional and gave the best care to my American Bully babe. THANK YOU

I try to support small business every chance I get - My first time with Ms. Erika and I was very impressed! They sensed my dog's nervousness and took immediate action. Listen, these folks know their stuff and I can't be happier for the care they provided to my pet. So glad to have found a new groomer.
Our weenie dog is not the most cooperative getting her nails clipped. But the staff was not only professional, but very friendly.
Highly recommended!! I needed my yorkie to be cut low because of the areas he visits. They did an excellent job. He loved them so much, he wouldn't come to me when I came to pick him up. Also, I adore little tie. He's a business pup.
I had an appointment today and princess has been there multiple times as the place use to be her partners that had recently passed away, princess has never had a issue there and always looked great! Today I get a message to pick up my half cut dog that was biting. Which she’s never but anyone ever and these groomers are suppose to be trained. Her hair is all sizes cut in her head and her ears are clearly different sizes and completely cut differently. My dog was cut by the clippers. Whatever they was doing had my dog terrified. She always goes to the groomers and always does great. A friend of mine went in there and held her head as she wascompletely terrified of this groomer . What a horrible experience for princess. And the owners response is so unprofessional! Worst experience ever!! I was told not to bring my dog back ever again since I did not want to pay for the service. But just a reminder she has been going to that grooming salon before this person took over and never once has my dog bit or tried to bite anyone she is a therapy dog and now she is a completely terrified dog, by the time my friend tried helping my dog was so terrified she wanted to leave
First experience with a new groomer in over 15 years and I am very happy. Today we just started with a nail trim to get my dog (and me) comfortable and obviously to check it out being our first experience. Erika was gentle and kind with my Pomeranian who is a little antsy about her feet and has black nails. Her partner even helped greatly by comforting my dog as he helped hold her paw so she would not pull it back. He talked so calmly and reassuring to her. It was definitely a good experience and we will back. Thank you Bark and Glow!
Professional and Friendly
I took my standard poodle for grooming. I was able to het on quickly because of a cancellation. We talked about type of cut. My baby girl was cute. I was a little skeptical because of other reviews but they did an awesome job. Very professional and friendly. Will be going back again.
