Quick Facts About Exquisite Nails
Exquisite Nails has both strengths and weaknesses based on the comments provided.
One strength of Exquisite Nails is the recommendation of SNS (Signature Nail Systems) over a full set gel French tip manicure. This shows that the nail technician, Lee, is knowledgeable and offers professional advice based on the customer's needs. SNS is said to be of better quality, which suggests that the salon prioritizes providing long-lasting and durable nail services.
Another strength mentioned is the relaxing environment and excellent service. Customers appreciate the quiet and calming ambiance, making it a pleasant place to relax. The positive comments about the great job done by the nail technicians suggest that the staff are skilled and attentive to detail. Additionally, the fact that the salon is wearing masks during the COVID-19 pandemic indicates a concern for the health and safety of both the staff and customers.
However, there are also several weaknesses outlined in the comments. One major weakness is the issue of nails breaking. One customer expressed disappointment that three of their nails snapped off within a week of getting them done. This suggests poor quality or improper application of the nails, possibly due to the use of low-quality products or lack of skill. The same customer also mentioned seeing cracks on the nails, further indicating subpar workmanship.
Another weakness mentioned is the pricing and potential overcharging. Several customers expressed dissatisfaction with the prices they were charged, with one alleging that they were charged more than the advertised rate for a pedicure and for having their false nails removed. Another customer also mentioned being charged $70 for a service that had previously cost them $60, implying inconsistent pricing practices.
Poor customer service is another weakness identified in the comments. One customer complained about the rushed and inadequate pedicure. They mentioned that the dead skin on their feet was not properly removed, leaving rough spots. Additionally, the salon charges a fee for card payments without informing customers upfront, which can be seen as deceptive and unfair.
One particularly concerning weakness highlighted poor treatment of an elderly customer with dementia. The commenter shared an upsetting experience where the nail technician was rough and impatient with their grandmother. They also witnessed mocking behavior from the nail tech and another employee. The lack of empathy and professionalism in this situation is a significant flaw in the salon's customer service.
Despite these weaknesses, one customer did commend Exquisite Nails for the high-quality service they received, particularly the American manicure and eyebrow tinting. This suggests that the salon is capable of providing top-notch services in certain areas.
In conclusion, Exquisite Nails has some strengths, such as knowledgeable staff, a relaxing environment, and positive customer experiences. However, there are several weaknesses, including issues with nail quality and breakage, inconsistent pricing, poor customer service, and mistreatment of elderly customers. These weaknesses should be addressed and improved upon to enhance the overall customer experience and reputation of the salon.

i went & asked for a full set gel french tip manicure. Lee, the nail tech, said he recommended i just do SNS because its “better quality”. keep in mind i have been getting fake nails for YEARS. i agreed, since ive never had SNS french tips, only solid colors. everything went fine & he was detailed & i tipped $20 making the total almost $100. i have not even had these nails a WEEK, and ALREADY THREE of the nails have snapped right off my finger. i am very gentle with my nails especially since i got them longer than i normally do this time. SNAPPED RIGHT IN HALF over NOTHING. and after examining my nails closer, im leaving pics, you can see they have CRACKS right where theyre breaking off !!! i am NEVER GOING BACK TO THIS NAIL SALON. $100 down the DRAIN.
Lovely place!!! The service here is awesome. So quiet and a very nice place to relax! They are wearing masks. You aren't required as of right now. This place is so relaxing and I love them! They do such a GREAT JOB EVERY TIME!!!! The attention to every person is awesome! I love it here!
Don't go they steal your money!!!
I asked for a pedicure" the basic " which is $35 ! they charge me $50!!! I asked them to take off my false nails, which is a simple dip in nail polish remover and a buff and they painted my natural nails and charge me $60!!! for just that.
I will never go there again!!! if you want to give away your money this is the place to go.
Bobby did an AMAZING job on my nails! Listened and helped me on my idea for my Halloween nails. So impressed!!
Update: within a couple of days of having the nails on, they were falling off of my nails as a whole. My nails are melted and burnt as a result of whatever acrylic they were using. I went back to the salon and asked for a refund for my melted nails and they said they will not do a refund at all and said they would fix it but 4 nails were melted and messed up with one bleeding from the damage that was done. I told them I did not want to destroy any more nails that I had left and just wanted my $112 back. I do not recommend going here as they will destroy the integrity of you nails.
The lady who did my nails is very kind, I recommend her, I liked my nails, but they charged me $70, I don't know if the price is fair, last time I did my nails short and they charged me $60 in the same place
I don't recommend. I went to this one for a Pedicure because it was the only one that didn't have a wait. They spent a total of 20 minutes on my feet. They did not get the dead skin off my feet either. My feet still have rough spots on them and when I told her she didn't say anything except they only use a pumice stone and not the dead skin remover tool. So if you're looking to spend $50 on a 20 minute rushed pedicure and still having rough feeling feet go here. They also charge a $1.50 fee for paying with card and don't tell you that until after you pay!
I’ve never left a bad review before but here goes… on Saturday, I brought my Nana (83 with dementia) in to get her nails and toes done as we do every month. I’ve been going here for 10 years with no problems, and I’ve brought my Nana over the last 4 years. Never had an issue. But this time, the nail tech that was working on my Nana’s toes was very impatient and very rough with her. So of course my nana kept telling the nail tech that it hurt and long story short, she and the nail tech doing my toes and another one across the aisle were very obviously mocking my Nana. I’m not one to cause a scene so I waited till checkout to say anything. I asked to talk to the owner and the girl that was checking me out said she was the manager (I know she isn’t) and said “since you didn’t say anything while it was happening there’s nothing we can do”. I wasn’t trying to get free services I was just very appalled because we’ve never had such unprofessional treatment before. We won’t be back.
I requested the American manicure and the service was of high quality. Looks very natural and superior to prior service at a local salon. I also got my eyebrows tinted. I recommend this business for quality service, infection control/ cleanliness and good customer service.
