I used to only go here when we first moved to the area and they were amazing. Over a short period of time the quality started to lack and every time I'd go it was like a day care in the building with their kids running wild all over the place so I found a different place that is, so far, awesome (one gel manicure lasted over 2 months)!!! Last Friday, exactly ONE WEEK ago, I tried to go to my new place for a refill because I was leaving to attend a funeral out of town for a family member. They were backed up and the wait time was over an hour so I opted to go to "my old place". What a waste of money. Although I was taken right away, the outcome was horrible!! One girl took my polish off and did all of the work up to new polish and she was good. The woman who did my polish was so hurried. As soon as my hand came out of the lamp for the last coat, she got up and said that someone would check me out and I reminded her that I also needed my brows waxed. She left. Never did she put a clear top coat on my nails. I waited for about 15 minutes then a guy came and wanted to check me out, again I reminded him about brows and he told me to go sit in the chair. I waited there for about 10 minutes only to be told it would be ANOTHER 15 minutes before someone would do my brows. I had to leave at that point. Now, EXACTLY ONE WEEK later, my nails look absolutely horrible!!! I am recovering from a major back surgery so all I do is sit all day long so the current condition of my nails isn't from me abusing them. What a wasted $50. Now I have to go to my current salon and spend another $40 to fix what is messed up because someone couldn't take pride in her work. I WILL NOT be going here again. I should be given a refund for such horribly done work on my nails.
Have been going here since they opened. Love them. As far as them taking other people ahead of you...did you make an appointment or did you walk in? Appointments are always taken first. This is not a first come first served place. If you don't have an appointment be prepared to wait. I never mind waiting because they do such a great job on my nails. The owners and employees are always very nice and friendly. As for the children that are there occasionally...Have some patience please. At least they don't close when they don't have child care. It is very seldom that the children are there and they have never bothered me or interfered with my receiving excellent service.
I have been going to family nails and spa ever since it has opened.. I have never had any issues until the last couple times. The pedicures are great, however this time my experience was horrible.. I felt like, I was in a daycare!!! I was so stressed out when I left, I forgot to get my card signed... I don't know if I want to go back..
Wanted dipped ombre nails and manicure, but no manicure was performed. Had photo of what I wanted and showed them before starting. My cuticles were left in tact, not pushed down or trimmed, before nail applied. I asked why I wasn't getting nails soaked and trimmed before she started applying dip, no answer. No lotion, oil, etc. Were to be ombre pink, but nails were white. Cost $55
Very unprofessional towards me. I sat in the chair for 1 hour and 15 minutes waiting with my hands balled inside a bowl with strong acetone inside of it. Also, it was so many people walked in after me, and immediately received service. I finally came to the conclusion I was going to speak up and I did. My money is just as green as the next man or woman; I work just as hard. In conclusion, I still had to pay 5 dollars for them to half way take off the 7 nails I had on whenever I first arrived.
The people are really nice, very gentle, and they do a fantastic job in manicures, pedicures, and spa treatments as well.
They try to start on everyone to prevent you from leaving which results in you spending 2+ hrs to do one thing. Also I was charged 20 extra dollars to put overlay on two toes which is just wild imo. There's also paint on my cuticles. Over priced for the mid service
I love this place. The pedicures have not been a let down yet. My gel nails always come out beautiful. They have done great so far on my eyebrows. The prices are good in my opinion. I’ve paid more and I’ve paid less at other places, but the satisfaction wasn’t there like I feel with Family Nails and Spa. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them.
