Quick Facts About Fancy Nailspa
Fancy Nailspa Place, based on the comments provided, has a number of strengths and weaknesses.
Starting with the strengths, one recurring positive comment is the fast service provided by the nail salon. Several customers mentioned that their nails lasted longer when they got them done at Fancy Nailspa compared to other nail salons they've visited in the past. This suggests that the salon pays attention to the quality of their work and uses products or techniques that result in longer-lasting nails. The affordability of the services was also praised by multiple customers, indicating that Fancy Nailspa offers reasonable pricing for their services.
Furthermore, the staff at Fancy Nailspa received positive feedback regarding their friendliness and professionalism. Two different comments specifically mentioned the owner and a specific nail technician, Mrs. Shelia, for delivering exceptional service. This indicates that the salon has a team of skilled and friendly staff members who prioritize customer satisfaction. The fact that a mother and daughter both had a great experience also suggests that Fancy Nailspa caters to clients of different ages and can accommodate various preferences.
Additionally, cleanliness is mentioned as a positive aspect of the salon. One customer specifically complimented the clean interior of Fancy Nailspa, which is an important factor for customers when choosing a nail salon. A clean and sanitary environment is crucial to maintain the health and safety of both staff and customers.
Moving on to the weaknesses, there is one comment that raised concerns about the treatment of a customer by one of the male employees. The customer reported being treated rudely and experiencing discrimination based on their race. They mentioned being rushed and almost knocked over, while witnessing more favorable treatment towards white customers. This incident highlights a significant weakness in customer service and suggests a lack of professionalism and inclusivity within the salon. Such behavior not only affects the customer's experience but also reflects poorly on the overall reputation of the salon.
Another negative comment mentioned a lack of clear communication and professionalism from a male employee. The customer felt confused and annoyed by the employee's attitude and remarks during their visit. Furthermore, the customer reported that their nails had air bubbles and that the manicure was not up to par. This suggests a lack of attention to detail and quality control in the nail services provided by Fancy Nailspa.
Another weakness brought up in a comment is the higher pricing compared to other nail salons. The customer mentioned that they paid $40 for a dip service, while they usually pay $20 at their regular nail salon. This price discrepancy might deter some customers from choosing Fancy Nailspa, especially those who prioritize affordability.
Lastly, one customer mentioned that one of their dipped nails cracked shortly after the service, highlighting a potential durability issue with the products used or the application technique. This raises concerns about the long-term quality of the nail services provided by Fancy Nailspa.
In conclusion, Fancy Nailspa has strengths in fast service, long-lasting nails, reasonable pricing, friendly staff, and a clean environment. However, weaknesses in customer service, including potential discrimination, lack of professionalism, and issues with communication, attention to detail, and pricing could hinder the overall experience for some customers.

We have been getting our nails done here since 2019 and love the fast service! Our nails last longer than when we use other nail salons!
Derek was nice, friendly & very efficient. Pricing is very reasonable, as well! Will be coming back with my mom for a mani pedi very soon! :))
The owner was supper friendly and amazing to work with! This has been my best experience with getting my nails done in a long time. Highly recommend
My daughter and I had the best experience getting full acrylic sets at this salon. The manicurists did a fabulous job, were very friendly, and ensured we were happy with the service. I would highly recommend this salon and will definitely be back.
I do NOT like putting jackets on people, but these people are unapologetically rude and discriminative. I am one of many black women who have spoken out against this. He not only nipped me, but when I told the owner he was hurting me he got angry with me. I had already read the horror stories of this salon as i sat there, and I should have left when I thought to. They were so kind to the white women ahead of me but were rushing me and literally almost knocked me over trying to get me in the chair. I was just shocked and really confused as to why a minority would feel more superior than another minority ???? it was literally obvious to the point were a white customer apologized to me. Never again.
They are all good but Mrs. Shelia get me together everytime! She is quick and whatever I ask for she does to perfection! Very affordable with great quality!
I like to try different nail salons in Conway, AR on my off work days.
However, the experience I received from this business was not the best.
After walking in and being asked what I would like, a male employee informed me to “go sit in a pedicure chair.”
A little puzzled by the statement given, I asked him “Does it mattered which pedicure chair?”
(I’m used to being directed to a certain chair or chair number to sit in.)
He stopped working on the nails in front of him, to look at me and yell “A PeDiCuRe ChAiR” and even popped his head, with all the sass.
I politely informed him “I understand that I am to go to a pedicure chair, but wanted to know if it mattered which pedicure chair I sat in.”
At this time a young woman employee came up and brought me to the back and had me stand by her until she was ready to show which chair to sit in..
(She was setting up a pedicure chair for another client before she could direct me to where I was to sit.)
While standing by the pedicure station with the young female employee, the same guy came charging at us yelling, “You no sit there. Don’t SIT THERE.”
I stared at him in shock before responding, “I know that I am not to sit there. She has already informed me.” (Gesturing to the female worker beside me). He responded with giving me a stern look (his facial expressions eventually did soften but I didn’t get an apology) then walked back to his nail station.
**The young lady did an amazingly beautiful job on my pedicure.**
When it came time for the manicure. I was brought to the gentleman’s chair. I continued to be polite, even with each snide comment that slid my way. I was asked where I was from; why didn’t I “just use” the nail salons in my hometown; you’re not married, are you. I can tell; do you even work; you party? Go to casinos? We getting casino in Russellville, you go there and get you a husband.”
** my nails were nicely shaped, however there are tons of air bubbles in each nail.**
The staff was tipped for their service, after all it is a retail job. Here’s hoping the male employee was having an “off day” and doesn’t typically speak to new customers like this.
I however, will not be a returning customer.
12/21 - I was visiting a friend in town and we wanted to get our nails done and went to another place that had a wait so we ended up here since it was close to where she lived (first time for both of us) here. I am partial to my nail place where I live but didn’t have time to go before. She got a manicure and I got dip and had to get my previous dip removed.
I am bad about leaving my dip on for a month so my nails are grown out a bit. The lady was a little rough and would look around when people came in (while there were at least 2/3 people who did not have a customer who could have helped them).
I had three nails that had skin taken off around them with the buffer tool. The one around my thumb she thought was the white powder and buffed skin off. She paused and said sorry and continued.
Another thing we didn’t pay attention to were the priced. I paid $40 for the dip. My nail place $20 for dip (Topline Nails).
I will say the place was very clean on the inside.
*UPDATE* 12/28 one of my dipped nails cracked. ☹️
