Quick Facts About FATIMA AFRICAN HAIR BRAIDING

FATIMA AFRICAN HAIR BRAIDING has received a mix of positive and negative comments, highlighting both strengths and weaknesses. In order to provide a comprehensive analysis, the strengths and weaknesses of the salon will be discussed below.
Strengths:
1. Quality of work: Several comments mention the quality of the braiding work done at FATIMA AFRICAN HAIR BRAIDING. Customers have expressed their satisfaction with the results, praising the neatness, longevity, and professional finish of their braids. This indicates that the salon has skilled and experienced braiders who can deliver high-quality hairstyles.
2. Friendly and sociable staff: Customers appreciate the friendly and sociable nature of the staff at the salon. This positive interpersonal interaction helps create a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere for customers, making their experience more enjoyable.
3. Convenience and efficiency: Many customers praise the salon for providing fast and efficient services. They appreciate the ability to get an appointment on the same day and the relatively short waiting times, with one customer being in and out in about three hours. The efficiency of the salon allows customers to manage their time effectively and quickly get their desired hairstyle.
4. Attention to customer preferences: The salon is commended for its consideration of customer preferences. The staff asks customers about their desired tightness of braids, whether they want their edges out, and if the braids are too tight. This attention to detail and willingness to accommodate customer requests contributes to overall customer satisfaction.
Weaknesses:
1. Inconsistent scheduling and punctuality: One customer states that their appointment was not honored on time, and they had to wait for the braider to arrive. Another customer had a similar experience, with the salon being late to open, causing them to wait for a braider to begin their appointment. This inconsistent scheduling and punctuality can lead to inconveniences for customers and impact their overall experience.
2. Communication issues and misunderstandings: Some customers have experienced issues with communication and misunderstandings regarding appointments. One customer scheduled an appointment but found that the braider was occupied with another client upon their arrival. Another customer left the salon after waiting for an extended period of time past their appointment, as the braider claimed that another person was coming to assist but did not arrive within a reasonable timeframe. These types of communication issues can cause frustration and inconvenience for customers.
3. Braiding technique and sensitivity concerns: Although the salon is praised for its braiding skills, some customers have reported concerns about the tightness of the braids. One customer mentions experiencing pain and soreness during the braiding process due to the tightness, resulting in them having to remove the braids after only two days. Another individual mentions that the salon is notorious for doing tight braids, despite multiple requests for looser braids. This inconsistency in accommodating customer preferences and the potential discomfort caused by tight braids can be viewed as a weakness of the salon.
In conclusion, FATIMA AFRICAN HAIR BRAIDING has various strengths including the quality of work, friendly staff, convenience, and attention to customer preferences. However, the salon also faces challenges such as inconsistent scheduling and punctuality, communication issues, and concerns about braiding technique and sensitivity. By addressing these weaknesses, the salon can enhance customer satisfaction and improve its overall reputation.

Best TL Reviews

I read the reviews first. I was scared that my braids would be too tight to where my scalp would welt up. I got individuals. It was tight but not too tight. They were late to arrive to open the shop and I had to wait on a braider to get there before they started on my hair. Its certain things that you have to expect with post-covid small businesses understaffing being the main thing. But the staff is friendly and sociable. They got me in and out in about 3 hours and I watched Netflix the whole time. This was a good experience.
I love getting my hair done here the only place I come to get my hair braided , the service is truly amazing and Fatima works wonders ❤️❤️
Scheduled an appointment 3 days in advance for my daughter and when I got there a woman was braiding someone else and looked at me like "what appointment". She said she'd be another hour so we left and came back one hour later and she was still braiding the same girl, so we sat and waited about 25 min and I finally decided to leave. She tried to stop me and ask for me to wait another half hour or so. When I declined and said I have other kids at home to tend to and it would then be 2 hours after my original appointment time. She then said I could leave my 7 year old and she'd call me when she was done. Guess what.... not happening! I'm not leaving my child with someone I don't know in a place she's unfamiliar with and to pay good money for her to start at 6pm which was two hours late. Nope, won't be back!
I’ve had my twists for literally over a month and my hair is still not frizzy, my parts look like it’s been freshly done, and my roots aren’t yet showing which in most cases my hair looks old in the matter of two weeks. I’m definitely coming back to them. Well money spent and the staff were very professional. I love the fact they asked if you want your edges out, is it too tight etc.
I'm giving a 2 here because they do good work and I've gone to them many times but this last time was not great. They are notorious for doing really tight braids and every time I go I ask them not to braid as tight. I always get the bumps on my scalp after getting braided there. This time the braider actually asked me if I wanted her not to do it too tight because I think she remembered, and I said yes. Throughout the braiding I repeatedly said it hurt and was too tight and they didn't lighten up. I've been getting my hair braided my whole life and it's never hurt so bad. I had to take the braids out after 2 days because it was so painful. Waste of $230 and I won't be going back. Like I said, they are really good braiders but they are very rough and do not seem care to about their customers scalps or hair lines.
I am in love with my small knotless braids. The lady worked all day on my hair. Never really took a break. I appreciate it. My hair is thin in the front and she made it look full. I definitely will be back.
Scheduled an appointment for 10am quick braids. Came in a little early. Lady touched my hair sat me down. Another lady w/ no appointment came in and asked how much for something she wanted. Lady said $250. She sat her down and started doing her hair. 5 mins after being puzzled she says another person "was coming." 30 mins past my appointment I left
I love it that I can call and get a appointment the same day. The work is neat and fast and most of all they are friendly and I am very comfortable with them. Also Fatima has been doing my hair for years and I've followed her from her previous location. Nothing but the best!❤❤
