Weaknesses:
1. Waxing experience: One customer had a terrible waxing experience at Fossil Spa & Nail place. They mentioned bleeding, missing chunks of eyelids, and overall negligence by the technician. This indicates that the salon may not have well-trained or experienced personnel for waxing services, leading to poor outcomes and potential injuries.
2. Inconsistency in nail services: One customer mentioned that the salon provided a different result for their dip set nails compared to the sample they initially chose. This suggests that there may be inconsistency in the salon's ability to deliver the desired outcome for nail services. The customer also mentioned getting cut around the cuticles and the technician leaving debris around the nails, indicating a lack of attention to detail and overall messy execution.
3. Lengthy wait times and high prices: One customer mentioned that their first visit took 2.5 hours to get an acrylic set and cost almost $100, which they found to be excessive. Another customer mentioned that their visit took over 2 hours and cost $67, not including the tip. These comments suggest that Fossil Spa & Nail place may struggle with managing efficient service delivery and may have relatively higher prices compared to other nail salons.
4. Lack of recognition for individual nail technicians: One comment mentions that the customer didn't get their manicurist's name. This suggests that the salon may not prioritize building a strong connection between customers and individual technicians, potentially impacting the overall customer experience and hindering customer loyalty.
Overall, Fossil Spa & Nail place has strengths in terms of delivering quality nail services, maintaining a clean and modern environment, and having friendly and professional staff. However, there are areas for improvement such as ensuring consistency in service outcomes, addressing issues with waxing services, reducing wait times and prices, and building stronger connections between customers and individual nail technicians.

Jessi, the manager, is amazing! She does a wonderful job prepping your nails and cuticles, has great talent with hand painted designs, and really does an overall fabulous job! My dip nails were over 4 weeks old and still looked perfect!!
Went today for a mani-pedi the tech did a superb job!! First time there and will go again! I did the organic pedi and under my feet was dry but the tech used a machine or something and now under my feet are baby smooth !!

Had my first pedicure here and I loved my toes they look so cute! I'm happy to have tried this place out and will definitely be returning! A plus they have massaging chairs for the pedicure chairs which I thoroughly loved ans enjoyed! I got shellac toes and dip powder nails! Paid 85 without tip and I thought it was definitely exceptional and worth it ???? would definitely recommend !!
Great service and job on nails. Great technique. Had a walk in appointment and was seated right away. Nail tech listened to what I wanted and did a great job. Very friendly staff.
I didn’t get my manicurest name. But I will. I just got the best dip powder manicure I have ever had. I will be back. And thank you.
This was the worst waxing experience I’ve ever had. I am left bleeding, and have chunks of my eyelid missing. I had bad experiences before here, but decided to give it one more try and this is the outcome. They used dry wax, and didn’t know how to do it. The woman dropped wax on my eyelid and instead of cleaning it off, waxed it off. She then panicked and dragged wax through my hair on both sides. I was in so much pain when it was over, so I asked for some aloe and in order to save product, the woman dragged a practically dry cotton pad across my eyebrows. Not the mention the room was disgusting and had hair on the table from the previous person. This is so painful, and I will be reporting it to the state board for negligence. The pictures with flaking and the scab was a full week later.
Well, this was my second time here as I tried to give it another chance and I've officially learned my lesson. The first time it took 2.5 hours to get an acrylic set and cost almost $100.. this time I came to get a dip set and it did not turn out at all what I expected. First off, the samples they have you choose from are not even the same as what you get. I picked out a bright, sparkly blue/green matte nail and I ended up with a glossy, dark blue set. Apparently, I was supposed to guess that as the result. I told them they should not have samples to pick from if thats not what you actually get. Additionally, I got cut up around my cuticles.. making a painful experience. Also, she did a mess of a job and left all kinds of goo and debri in and around my nails. It feels like I went digging in a sand box.
All of this and it took over 2 hours.. charged me $67 (not including tip). Not sure why I'm even giving it 2 stars.. maybe on the off chance I just totally misunderstood their process? But even so, my fingers hurt and look like a mess.. Going to stick with Designer Nails.
I love getting my nails done here. The staff is highly professional, and they do a wonderful job.
