I want to start off by saying, I am a very picky person when it comes to my son’s haircut. I’ve been to 3 different barbers from Midwest City, North west side of town and now to this location. I was very impressed on how clean the shop was, the professionalism of the barbers having communication with the customers as soon as they walk in.
My son enjoys going to the barber shop now because Mr. Carter makes him feel comfortable. My son used to flinch and cry with the other two barbers at other locations because the clippers were either too sharp or too hot. Those barbers never did anything to fix the discomfort my son was feeling and me being a woman who doesn’t get her haircut I didn’t know that wasn’t normal. Well, Mr. Carter has changed my 5 year old sons mindset of getting his hair cut. It is no longer a dreadful situation. Even when Mr. Carter is finish with my sons hair cut, Mr. Carter makes sure he gets the hair blown off of him and it doesn’t burn him when Mr. Carter puts alcohol around the edge of his haircut. I can’t thank him enough for turning this “must need” maintenance into an enjoyment. Also, Mr. Carter is very knowledgeable on cutting hair not just with one particular race, but with all. He had to correct a lot of errors on my sons edge up in the front from preventing my son to have a receiving hair line at a young age. Quality service is just as important as great customer service and I am well pleased with both because it makes my life a lot easier. Mr. Carter is one of the best barbers at this location. I will continue to use Mr. Carter as my sons barber as a loyal client and I’ve referred friends and family members to use him as well.
Great place! Frank and the whole staff were extremely friendly for a first time visitor. Even if your not really talkative, the good vibes here will make you open up.
Frank did amazing with the under cut fade and the goatee clean-up, at a good price.
If you are coming in for a walk-in, make sure to speak up so they guys know!
Juan is always on point, punctual, professional and super easy to work with. An incredible barber, always working to find new ways to up his skill level, service and amenities. He always takes his time, gives his client his full attention, and ensures they leave feeling better than before. He goes beyond service by providing an experience to each of his clients every time. You never have to worry about getting a good cut with Barbereyes, always top tier. Thanks, Juan
Made my son take his mask off. He jad it on for a very good medical r3ason. He just happens to not have the ability to be confratational. Was yelling back and for the whole cut. Stopped to do side missions chatting about females negative. Took almost an hr for him to basically buzz his hair. Very unprofessional and my son claims he barely even talked to him. I
10/10 recommended Juan, he’s always super patient and nice with my kiddos. He always asks questions so I always get exactly what I ask for. My kids are always happy with the haircut!
The most ghetto place ever. Since I was a first timer, I made an appointment over the phone with a barber named Carter.
We exchanged cellphone numbers to be in contact in case of any change of plans.
An hour before my appointment, I texted him to confirm my appointment. He didn’t respond.
I showed up to the place on time, and I assumed he was one of two barbers on duty cutting hair, and maybe that’s why he hadn’t answered my text.
When one of the two barbers finished with his client, he came up to me and asked who I was waiting for. I said I was waiting on Carter, thinking it was him. It wasn’t him. The barber said, “Carter should be here soon. He’s very punctual.”
When he said that, I had been waiting for about half an hour.
I waited another half hour before I asked the barber if he could cut my hair because I wasn’t going to wait all day on Carter.
Explain how Carter answered his cellphone when his barber friend called him to ask where he was, but he didn’t have the decency to text me back and say he wasn’t going to be able to make it?
Carter was extremely unprofessional and inconsiderate with my time, and it’s probably safe to say he’s just as unprofessional and inconsiderate with his other clients.
I would not recommend this place because of the unprofessionalism, lack of attention and ghetto-ness.
And when I say ghetto, I mean a whole fight almost erupted because some Middle-Eastern customer was demanding the barbers cut his hair despite them having clients with appointments. He ordered the barbers to skip those with appointments to cut his hair first.
Since Carter never showed up, a black lady (I don’t remember her name) was cutting my hair. The barbers said the black lady could cut his hair after she was done with me, and he said he didn’t want a woman cutting his hair.
It was like out of a movie. I couldn’t believe my eyes.
If you like the ghetto, then this is the place for you. If you don’t, I strongly recommend you find another establishment because businesses like these shouldn’t be supported.
Great barber shop, my man Juan always getting me right, anyone looking for some real nice fades check him out
Ask for Juan Contreras when in need of a cut. Great barber great cuts and always doing his best.
