Quick Facts About Gold Eagle Market

Gold Eagle Market is a neighborhood grocery store with a deli and fuel station. The comments provide a mixed perspective on the strengths and weaknesses of the marketplace. In order to fully analyze the strengths and weaknesses, we will look into each aspect mentioned in the comments separately.
Firstly, the comments mention that Gold Eagle Market has a deli inside, serving good food. This is seen as a strength, as customers appreciate having access to freshly prepared meals at the store. In addition, one commenter specifically recommends the jalapeño poppers, indicating that the deli offers unique and delicious options.
Another strength highlighted in the comments is the friendliness of the staff. Multiple commenters mention the amazing staff, highlighting their helpfulness and genuineness. This is an important aspect as friendly and helpful staff can significantly improve the overall shopping experience for customers.
Next, the comments mention that Gold Eagle Market has a post office and a recently remodeled fuel station. This is seen as a strength because it offers convenience to customers who may need to access these services while shopping.
Additionally, the comments describe the atmosphere of Gold Eagle Market positively, mentioning factors such as a view of the foothill area, a saloon with dancing and live music, and a full bar. These aspects contribute to a lively and enjoyable experience for customers who are seeking entertainment and socializing opportunities.
However, despite these strengths, the comments also mention several weaknesses that need to be addressed. One recurring complaint is the high prices at Gold Eagle Market. Commenters mention that prices are 30% to 40% higher than normal, which leads to dissatisfaction among customers. This high pricing is seen as a weakness because it discourages customers from shopping at Gold Eagle Market and encourages them to seek alternative options, such as Dollar General across the street.
Another weakness highlighted in the comments is the limited selection of products. Commenters mention that Gold Eagle Market does not have a good selection of groceries, and that the store lacks organic, free-range, and grass-fed options. This lack of variety can be seen as a weakness, as it limits the choices available to customers who may have specific dietary needs or preferences.
Furthermore, commenters mention issues with the quality of some products. For instance, one commenter mentions that the chips purchased were stale and not worth the high price paid. Another commenter mentions that half the time, products are expired or produce is about to spoil. These concerns about product freshness and quality are significant weaknesses, as customers expect to receive fresh and high-quality goods when shopping at a grocery store.
Lastly, one customer complains about the bad attitude of a specific employee with tattoos. This negative experience with an employee can be seen as a weakness, as it negatively impacts the overall customer experience and perception of the store.
In conclusion, while Gold Eagle Market has some strengths such as a deli with good food, friendly staff, additional services like a post office and fuel station, and a lively atmosphere with entertainment options, it also has weaknesses that need to be addressed. The main weaknesses include high prices, limited product selection, concerns about product quality, and negative experiences with certain employees. Addressing these weaknesses would be essential for Gold Eagle Market to improve customer satisfaction and attract more shoppers.

It’s a pretty cool little store, a little old, but still pretty cool. They have a deli inside, and the food there is pretty good. If they have them, get the jalapeño poppers, they are really good. One of my favorite parts is the .79$ pickles. The people there are pretty nice also. Gas is a bit expensive, but it’s one of the only spots around.
Over all the staff is amazing. However. They have one young lady with tattoos who is the worst, bad attitude having person I have ever come across at any store! She is extremely rude and doesn't want to be bothered to check you out. She gets mad that you came to her instead of someone else. Extremely bad experience!!
Great Ol fashioned grocery store with post office and recently remodeled fuel station
A nice friendly place for a quick trip for shopping or gas
Great food, drinks and atmosphere. View of foothill area. Saloon, dancing, bands, karaoke, full bar and nice size parking section. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Restrooms, dining room, family style room, cozy tables. All types of seating for all different occasions. Children high chairs are available. Disabled parking section.
The two stars are for the employees. They are always so sweet and helpful and genuine. As for the groceries; there’s a lot left to be desired. It’s pricey but I expect that for being so far from a larger city or town but as such, a grocery provider for people in the country, you would think, would be more knowledgeable in animal welfare practices and selling meats that are humanely raised. If you buy in bulk and package those items separately you still need to list the ingredients. I wish they would sell more organic, free range, grass fed and less mechanically separated and artificially flavored. They would be able to compete with the new dollar general if they did.
Not a very good selection... and it seems like prices are 30% to 40% higher than normal. I bought chips and dip and paid almost $11, only to taste find out the chips were stale! They used to be the only store within miles, now you can go across the street for the same chips and dip for about $6 or $7 at Dollar General. (and it wasn't from last months delivery.)
In a pinch if you need something and dont want to drive all the way to town but otherwise we avoid this place. Its way overpriced and half the time things are expired or produce is about to spoil. They do have a decent deli and thier fried chicken is good but they only cook it early in the day so if you go in the evening its been sitting there all day under a heat lamp and is all dry and gross
