Quick Facts About Hair Culture

Hair Culture place, as evident from the comments, has both strengths and weaknesses. Understanding these can help individuals make an informed decision about whether to visit the salon or not.
One of the major strengths of Hair Culture is the expertise and skill exhibited by the stylists. Multiple comments praise the stylists, such as Lisa and Bobby, for their outstanding work. They are described as professional, talented, and capable of delivering the desired haircut or color. Many customers have been loyal for years, which speaks to the consistent quality of service provided by the salon. Additionally, there is appreciation for the thoroughness and attention to detail shown by the stylists. This demonstrates a commitment to achieving the best possible outcome for the clients.
Another strength of Hair Culture is the fair and reasonable pricing. Several comments mention that the salon offers quality services at an affordable cost. This is highlighted by the comparison made between Hair Culture and salons in Park Slope and Manhattan, where the customers ended up paying more for subpar results. The affordable pricing makes the salon an attractive option for individuals who want quality service without breaking the bank.
The ethical and transparent approach of Hair Culture is also commended by customers. The owner, Leon, is praised for being honest and upfront about the expected outcomes of the desired hair changes. This transparency builds trust and ensures that customers have realistic expectations. The salon's commitment to ethical practices is seen as a positive attribute and contributes to customer satisfaction.
Furthermore, the customer service provided by the staff at Hair Culture is highly appreciated. Comments note how the employees are skilled, thoughtful, and sweet. The care and consideration shown by the staff contribute to the overall positive experience of the customers. Special mention is made of the lady who provides exceptional scalp massages during hair washing, highlighting the efforts made to create a relaxing and enjoyable environment for clients.
Despite these strengths, Hair Culture also has some weaknesses that need consideration. One recurring complaint is the lack of attention to customer requests and the rush in hair services. A customer shares an experience where the stylist cut their bangs too short without paying adequate attention to the reference photo provided. Another customer mentions feeling rushed during the hair appointment. These instances suggest that the salon may prioritize speed over precision, resulting in dissatisfaction for some customers who do not receive the desired outcome.
The issue of inconsistent pricing is also a weakness highlighted by one customer. They mention being charged more compared to others with longer hair for the same services. This lack of pricing consistency can lead to confusion and frustration among customers. Additionally, the comment about feeling pressured for a tip may indicate a negative experience with the salon's customer service.
Lastly, there is a comment expressing dissatisfaction with the owner's response to a complaint about the haircut. The customer claims that the owner dismissed their concerns despite not receiving the requested haircut. This lack of accountability and understanding can create a negative impression of the salon's management.
In conclusion, Hair Culture place has several strengths such as skilled and talented stylists, fair pricing, ethical practices, and excellent customer service. However, there are also weaknesses in terms of rushing through services, inconsistent pricing, and inadequate response to customer complaints. Prospective customers should weigh these factors before making a decision to visit Hair Culture.

Best TL Reviews

Absolutely delighted to share this review. Went to change my existing blonde balayage, wanting a blondish pink balayage this time. However, due to my existing blonde, it is not the easiest in technicality to achieve that blondish pink. Had a darker type of copper pinkish red but I was thrilled and satisfied! It turned out really good!Leon and his team are phenomenal! Leon comes by and explain everything in detail- he is extremely honest and transparent. Tells you how it’s gonna turn out just as it is. Charges you at a fair and reasonable price all these years I had been going. I have been going to Hair culture for years and they always do such a great job. An ethical hair business for sure. Leon is gifted at what he does - and he seeks to achieve the best possible outcome. His employees are all skilled, thoughtful and sweet. You can tell- I was extremely satisfied with how my hair turned out but Leon was saying it could look even better if this and that was done. But I was just in love with it and it’s good enough! I highly recommend this place and will continue to patronize for my future hair needs. They also do hair up dos for special occasions! Inquire with them.
I love hair culture! Lisa is the absolute best!! She's been cutting my hair for almost 10 years. There were a few times I went to some park slope and Manhattan salons - but they always messed up my hair, and I ended up paying more. Lisa is my girl 100
I've been coming 3 years now for cuts and colors. I usually ask for Bobby but he was on vacay today so got Lisa and she did good on my cut too! Got exactly what I wanted for a reasonable price. Extra shout out to the lady who washed my hair, bleached my hair and then applied the color to my hair and gives the most amazing scalp massage. Did not want my wash to end! Def gave her extra tippy tips! ????
Update 8.10.22: another amazing cut and color yday! Prices went up but everything has in the world so ????????‍♀️. Service here is still *chefs kiss* Thank you Bobby and team!
I went in for a wash and blow, I also asked for curtain bangs. Showed the lady a reference photo and she was so quick to cut my bangs without even fully looking at the photo. She cut my bangs way too short like actual forehead bangs. It makes me upset because that isn’t what I asked for and I don’t know how long they’ll take to grow back. She also made me brush my own hair and was in a rush while doing my hair. If I’m going to a hair salon I expect my hair to be getting done by someone else not me doing my own hair. I was charged $40 for a wash and blow which was odd to me because I usually pay less than that and my sister went to this same salon with longer hair and got charged $25. On top of that, the lady was basically begging for a tip. I was going to tip regardless it just annoys me when I’m being scolded for money.
Sammy! you do a wonderful, thorough job! with his enchanted kindness! The whole salon is excellent!
This is a great place to have inexpensive, but quality haircut. The hairstylists are friendly and professional. You probably would pay twice more in the city for the same services.
Do not come here! They rush when doing your hair. I went here and they completely ruined my hair.
haircut does not look like pictures shown. Jenny does not know how to cut fine hair she cut it in so many short layers that I can't curl it my bangs are at least an inch shorter than what I asked for them as well as the sides of my hair. I complain to the owner who said I had a nice haircut but it doesn't matter if the haircut is nice if it's not the one I asked for
