I recently went to Hair Gone Wild for my first perm ever. Erika did a wonderful job. I got exactly what I wanted and the price was quite reasonable. I wanted something with a more relaxed curl. My hair is very difficult to deal with. It's baby fine, and was in a very unhealthy state with breakage. I wanted a new look and shorter hair with bold color. I went to 2 other salons and was unable to find anyone that thought they could deliver what I wanted until I finally had a consult with Kim. I could tell she was an experienced professional by the consult and booked an appointment. I have asked for chunkier highlights/bolder color before and never quite got what I wanted. I have also asked for the type of hair cut she gave me and was told it wouldn't work with my hair. Well, Kim didn't disappoint. I am SUPER happy with both the cut and color. There are not enough POSITIVE words to say about Hair Gone Wild. EVERYBODY makes you feel welcome and they're all so very helpful and attentive. I found my forever stylist in Jamilla. Color, cut, and style. She is absolutely AMAZING! Her knowledge and technique are above and beyond.
Funky neat place to come for a hair cut, overall pleasant if you're laid back type of person. Trish cut my hair. I wanted to go from shoulder length hair to a dramatic a-line cut. Had her cut it shorter and shorter till I got the length I wanted (very short). She shaped it beautifully the way I wanted. Patient and listened well.
My daughters and I have been going to Donnae for 7 years and she is a wonder! She has done every color of the rainbow- including the whole rainbow for us! She listens, makes excellent suggestions, is kind, is incredibly knowledgeable about hair types, and the chemistry of color. She is a professional and makes sure you leave happy with your hair. We all have different hair types and my daughter living in LA waits until she visits home to have her thin, fine, curly hair cut by Donnae.
Stephanie San Jose was friendly, supportive, accommodating, and competent. She worked quickly, and made sure we were involved the whole time, and even let us make the first cut. I was dreading this cut, thinking it wouldn't look good short, and would look flat and lifeless. Nope. It looks full, lustrous, and beautiful. Very confidence-boosting.
