They always do an excellent job ????, Haven't been disappointed yet. And I love how it always smells nice, unlike all the other hair salons that smell horrid, I do miss seeing the pretty art on the walls from when I first started coming here.
I'm a travel nurse who's always on a hunt for a Hair Salon that meets my expectations. I research extensively before I trust any Salon. Humbleness aside, I have high standards when it comes to my hair. Halo Salon with Tate met my expectations. I'm on a different State now, but close enough that I could still get appointments with Tate. Need I say more.....
Very disappointed at this salon. I’m new to Helena and I’m trying to find a salon to start going to on a regular basis. I did a Google search and Halo Salon came up with very positive reviews. I called and scheduled an appointment for a week out. I was sent an text message to confirm my appointment 3 days prior to my appointment date. I confirmed and it was acknowledged in the text message that my confirmation had been received for my appointment date and time.
The day of my appointment I arrived 10 mins early and checked in with the girl at their front desk. She checked me in and confirmed my name and who I was supposed to be seen by. I was offered a beverage and told to have a seat and wait until I was called by the hair stylist. So far all is good until…50 MINUTES LATER….I was never called up or acknowledged in the lobby waiting area. After being EXTREMELY patient I walk back up to the check in desk and a different hairstylist asks me who I’m supposed to be seen by? I tell her the name and apparently the salon never knew I was there and checked in?!?! She then tells me that if I want to wait another 10 minutes I can get seen but by then I was beyond frustrated. I told her no and she asked if I’d like to reschedule with the same stylist I was supposed to have been seen by that day and I told her no again. At this point it was too late for this business to try and make any amends with me. I understand that sometimes things happen but why wouldn’t my stylist check on her next client at some point? This was poor service and poor scheduling on their part. I confirmed 3 days prior that I was going to be there and I arrived 10 minutes early and was told I had been checked in again. Obviously I wasn’t or for whatever reason my stylist just didn’t care about her next client.
I will never go to this salon and I will never recommend it to anyone either. Like I said very disappointing because I heard rave reviews about this place but I will be taking my money elsewhere to a business that truly cares about their customers. Don’t go to Halo Salon unless you want to take time out of your extremely busy day and waste it in their lobby like I did!
I enjoyed my experience very much with this salon. I was greeted by a cute little French bull dog named Ginger. The establishment was clean, elegant and had a nice fragrance. My hair stylist Mallory was professional and sweet, she listened to what i wanted and delivered. My hair cut looks like exactly what I wanted and I will definitely be a return client. Happy customer!

Ashley Gross always knows what to do for my curly hair. It is always nice to catch up on things as well. All the girls are always nice and fun to be around. Great atmosphere! 10/10 ❤
Horrible experience, completely bleached my hair, some strands were spotted (see pic), nothing like the picture I brought in. Refused to refund me for the dye job, and I had to have it fixed somewhere else. On top of it all, the stylist blamed me for my hair not turning out how I wanted. I will not go back here, and I would not recommend this establishment to anybody. Poor customer service.
