Quick Facts About Ava-Nail-Spa
Ava-Nail-Spa has received a mix of positive and negative comments from customers. By analyzing these comments, we can identify the strengths and weaknesses of the nail salon.
Starting with the strengths, it is clear that Ava-Nail-Spa has some loyal customers who appreciate the quality of their services. One customer mentioned that their gel manicure lasted for two and a half weeks and looked beautiful. Another customer praised the staff for being nice and providing a relaxing pedicure experience. It is also worth noting that customers appreciate the professional service provided by the salon, as one comment mentioned being pleased with the professionalism experienced during their visit.
Another strength of Ava-Nail-Spa is that some customers find the prices reasonable. One customer mentioned that the regular pedicure was good and priced at $30, while another customer mentioned that the services were competitively priced. This suggests that the salon offers affordable options for customers.
However, there are several weaknesses that have been highlighted by negative comments. One major issue is the quality of the products used by the salon. One customer complained that the polish used on their nails peeled off within 24 hours, and another customer mentioned that the nail technician used cheap polish on their pedicure, resulting in the color fading quickly. These comments suggest that Ava-Nail-Spa may need to invest in higher-quality nail products to improve customer satisfaction.
Communication and customer service are also identified weaknesses of the salon. One customer mentioned being charged extra for nail length without being properly informed beforehand. This lack of communication can lead to disappointment and frustration. Additionally, another customer mentioned that they specifically asked for certain nail shapes and were not given what they requested. This indicates a lack of attention to customer preferences and a failure to meet their expectations.
The skill and expertise of the nail technicians at Ava-Nail-Spa have also been called into question. Multiple customers mentioned that their nails did not turn out as desired or had visible issues. One customer mentioned that the nail technician did not fix the issues despite multiple attempts to communicate. Another customer even showed pictures of their misshapen and uneven nails. This suggests that the salon may need to invest in additional training for their nail technicians to ensure consistent and high-quality service.
The negative comments also bring attention to issues with hygiene and safety. One customer mentioned that they were cut multiple times during the service, resulting in pain and sores around the nail beds. Another customer highlighted a safety concern where an employee was working barefoot on a ladder. These incidents raise concerns about the cleanliness and safety practices of Ava-Nail-Spa.
In conclusion, Ava-Nail-Spa has both strengths and weaknesses. The positive comments indicate that the salon has loyal customers who appreciate the quality of some of their services and the professionalism of the staff. However, negative comments suggest issues with product quality, communication, customer service, nail technician skills, hygiene, and safety. Addressing these weaknesses will be crucial for Ava-Nail-Spa to improve and provide a better experience for their customers.

It was my second time here today and my first time I got gel two and a half weeks ago. They lasted and looked beautiful. They did a gel removal first and then I got dip powder with a marble design on four nails. They came out so beautiful, just like the picture I showed! I will be going here from now on and telling everyone about them.
I will not come back here. The pedicure was great, but the polish they use is cheap garbage. Look at my toe color after less than 24 hours. My gel fingernail polish peeled off of all of my fingers, all before 24 hours. They’re closed today but i don’t even want to bother with going back here. $100 on two pedicures and gel polish on my fingers (no manicure) and it didn’t even last. Such a shame.
I got the regular pedicure which was good it was a fine pedicure and he said $30 and I got an acrylic full set with gel and their menu says $48 and I didn’t get any designs or extra length or anything and they charged me $60 for the nails. And I called and they said it was because of the length and they are by no means long but I feel like I should have been informed that it would be extra before doing it and I did ask her to shorten them before starting and she did not so it’s not even the length I wanted and I was charged $12 for it. And she cut me a few times.
The staff was very nice. The young man that did my pedicure nearly lulled me to sleep. It was amazing. The nail tech however is another story. Although nice the finished product was in no way up to par. I was so frustrated by the time she was done after multiple attempts to show her the issue(s) and her telling me it won't be perfect, I just accepted what was even have a tip and left. The process was painful bc she got my skin with the file too many times. The next day I had tiny sores around my nail beds and my fingers were literally in pain. I am in no way bashing their business but simply sharing my personal experience. Although they are practically next door to me I just can't go back there again. The photos were immediately taken once I got into my car. I spent $70 but soaked them off the very next day....they were bulbous, misshapen , uneven glue was caked under my nails...These are just a few of the issues????
I called to make an appointment and I asked to be placed with somebody that was good at long nails. When she first put the tips on I said that I didn’t like how curved those tips were and she said that she would fix it and they would still be coffin shape. I also asked for the corners to be sharp. After she was done the corners were not sharp and my nails were still curved and when I asked her to fix them they told me they could only do curved long nails and I asked why they didn’t say that in the beginning because we could’ve just taken the tips off and I would’ve went somewhere else and they said that’s all they could do and still charged me full price and didn’t even apologize after I sat there for two hours.
Scheduled appointment for a pedi and it was potentially the worst I’ve ever had. She ripped my cuticles and I said ow and she looked at me like I was crazy because it hurt. The massage was also painful because she just rubbed the hot stones repeatedly up and down my shins as hard as she could. My big toes still hurt 2 days later from where she cut me. Definitely will not be back or recommend.
The man working was also standing barefoot on the top of a ladder working in the ceiling. Definitely doesn’t seem safe.
Edited to add picture of man on ladder..
First time visiting this salon. Very pleased with the professional service. Will definitely be going back!
I’ve been there twice, I thought maybe they just had a bad day the first time. But my nails look awful both times. They have separation in them and you can see where they didn’t blend my ombré. The staff is super sweet and friendly; However, They are horrible at doing nails. Please spend your money else where.
