My nails always look so good when I go to Jusy. Super friendly. Hannah is so artistic and does the cutest designs. I've been to so many other places and the quality just isn't the same. I will never go anywhere else.
This was done a week ago. The guy who did them did not use a light, never had me wash my hands. Was cussing every time someone would walk in the door and would say “go away” He asked me two different times if he missed painting a nail after they were under the light to dry. The paint is chipping and peeling my nails on the other end aren’t cut evenly. I originally asked for a new set and he told me he just wanted to do a fill. They were busy so I agreed. But this was the first time I left here unsatisfied. Usually it’s a decent experience. This time it was not.
The lady who did my nails I’m pretty sure was the owner since she was doing scheduling and ordering customers around. Anyways, she was super rough when removing my gel polish it felt like my nails were on fire then when she did the polish and was curing it I noticed some bubbling and asked her to fix it you could tell she was annoyed with her attitude. Once fixed I looked at it again and there was ALOT of lumpiness and bubbling and when I complained she tried to embarrass me by saying to the other employees “it looks fine no bubbles or lumps right” so I got annoyed and just left. I shouldn’t have had to argue with her about my nails I wasn’t happy so it should have been fixed if it were up to me I wouldn’t even give 1 star it’s not even deserving of that. Not to mention I had my nails done prior to this and they messed up. I was giving them a second chance I definitely should have went with my better instinct on this one! $43 down the drain!!!!!! ????
Worst pedicure I’ve ever had. My tech watched the TV the whole time and massaged me for tops 2 minutes, both legs combined. I couldn’t even feel her touching me. I paid $70 for a full service package - the towels and hot rocks were cold to the touch, she didn’t scrape anything off of my calluses, and literally had me rest my foot on the sharp side of the callus grater while she clipped the nails on my other foot. If my foot had slipped (which it almost did as she did not wipe off the callus oil), I could have cut my foot. I also had to remind my sisters nail tech to do her callus treatment (despite the fact that she prepaid for it), and she complains of the exact same issues with a totally separate tech. I also watched her tech take the same callus grater my tech used on my feet, rinse it briefly under water and then promptly use it on my sisters feet. No sterilization between clients of any kind. Absolutely gross. She also kept digging a sharp tool into my cuticles to the point of pain. I also heard two techs arguing with the clients about the colors they had chosen and the nail shape they had chosen. Your job as a business is to provide the service requested by your customer. I will never be coming back to this salon, and I highly recommend if you are charged $70 for a pedicure you make sure you go somewhere where you at least get your moneys worth.
What an awesome hidden gem!! I hadn't been here for years as I moved away but in searching for a nail salon today I remembered this place & how friendly the staff were & how detailed & professional they were. I'm so glad I came back, this has such a spa like vibe with employees who actually talk to you!! I will make the extra drive to come back regularly!! ❤
Today is Sunday, my daughter and I got our nails done Wednesday. The nail art she got done did not look good at all. Who doesn't know how to do a simple 4 petal flower on a couple of nails these days? My nails were starting to pull away/lift 3 days into it. 2 of my nails aren't straight. They're slanted on top. Straight French tip. A pretty simple nail look that every nail salon does literally every day. Nobody better ask why we didn't go back. To get the same awful work again? Ugh... $100 plus a $20 tip. Never again. I'll bite all my nails off if I can't find a suitable place in all of Council Bluffs.
I would not go here again. I’m not sure if I got a newer technician or if there are more skilled techs at this location but my nails are less than 24 hours old and have already chipped. I asked for my old dip to be taken off and for a shellac design to be placed. Half of my old dip was still left on and shellac was painted over it. The dip that was left on, often wasn’t even evened out so my nails have ridges…. Besides the fact that it’s chipped, there is polish on my cuticles and uneven painting. I would anticipate this mani won’t last more than a few days. Disappointed mostly due to the price I paid and the quality of nails I got for it. However, the client I sat next too looked like her nails were spot on….????????♀️ I also appreciated that they used sterile cuticle clippers and nail files. (At least it was pulled out of a sterile sealed package)
I don’t normally complain because i’ve never had a bad experience but today when I got my manicure I was upset. I didnt say anything because I have several bad anxiety and didnt want to upset anyone but all of my nails are crooked and very chunky. I paid a lot and left a bigger tip than normal because the holidays. But the more i look at my nails the more i find things wrong with them and it’s very upsetting. But either way I love this place and normally always have a great experience.
