Quick Facts About Honey Nails & Spa
Honey Nails & Spa has both strengths and weaknesses based on the given comments. It is important to consider these factors when evaluating the overall quality of the salon.
One of the strengths mentioned by a customer is the friendly staff and good services. The comment states that "everyone there was nice and the services seemed good." This indicates that the employees at Honey Nails & Spa are polite and provide satisfactory services to their customers. Additionally, another customer mentions that their dip manicure came out very nice and that the nail technician was quick, taking no more than 35 to 40 minutes. This indicates that the salon can offer efficient services for customers who are looking for a quick visit. Furthermore, the comment states that the pricing was not bad, which suggests that the salon's services are reasonably priced.
However, there are several weaknesses that have been identified by customers. One major issue is the durability of gel nails. One customer mentioned that she was disappointed because her gel nails started to lift at the base after only two days. This indicates that the quality of the gel nails may not be reliable and that they may not last as long as expected.
Another weakness mentioned is the overpricing of services and the lack of sanitation. One customer complained that the salon overcharged her for an acrylic full set, even though they no longer offered acrylics and only did dip powder. Additionally, the customer stated that the nail tools were not properly sanitized. This highlights a lack of professionalism and hygiene standards at Honey Nails & Spa.
Another weakness mentioned by a customer is the unprofessional behavior of the staff. The customer felt uncomfortable when the staff were speaking in another language and laughing, which made her feel like they were talking about her. Additionally, the customer mentioned that the staff continued to ask her questions about why she didn't want to pay a higher price or choose dip powder. This shows a lack of customer sensitivity and a failure to respect the customer's choices.
Poor customer service is another weakness that was highlighted. One customer mentioned that they were charged for a pedicure even though they asked to stop because they got soaking wet when the staff turned on the foot bath jets without waiting for the water to cover them. This indicates that the staff did not prioritize the customer's comfort and did not provide appropriate customer service.
In addition, there were complaints about appointment scheduling and the boss lady's behavior. Customers mentioned that appointments were not properly honored and that walk-ins were prioritized over those with appointments. Furthermore, the boss lady was described as unprofessional and rude, making comments about the price and rushing through services for more money. These factors contribute to a negative experience for customers and highlight a lack of professionalism and respect.
In conclusion, while Honey Nails & Spa has some strengths such as friendly staff, satisfactory services, and reasonable pricing, it also has several weaknesses. These weaknesses include issues with durability of nail services, overpricing, lack of sanitation, unprofessional behavior, poor customer service, and problems with appointment scheduling. These weaknesses should be taken into consideration by potential customers when deciding whether or not to visit Honey Nails & Spa.

I'm kind of disappointed. I got a gel nail polish set on Sunday and as of yesterday (Tuesday) three of my nails already started to lift at the base.
Everyone there was nice and the services seemed good. It could just be a fluke, but I expect gel nails to last longer than two days.
Overpriced, nail tools not sanitized and unprofessional. I made an appointment for an Acrylic Full Set, while the lady working on my nails was removing my previous set which I got done somewhere else she stated the total for today would be $60. I asked why so overpriced? She stated they do not do Acrylics anymore they only do Dip Powder which is fine but, I can get better service and better quality at a different nail salon for a fair price. I then told her to just please remove my previous set and that would be all for today. They kept chitchatting in their language the whole time and laughing as if they were talking about myself which made me feel very uncomfortable. Then they kept asking me questions as to why I didn’t want to pay $60? Or why I didn’t want Dip Powder? Or if I will be going to a different nail salon because I found it pricey there? I told them it was over priced and just wanted my previous set removed and would just let my nails breathe for a while. She kept making faces and speaking in her language with the other workers! I was charged $10 for her just to pull my nails off, she didn’t use acetone or anything which I could of done at home and then she cut them down with her nail clips. I would not be coming here again, I don’t recommend anyone to this nail salon not only because I had a bad experience if not because their service was unprofessional. Save your money and go somewhere that is more professional, sanitary and good pricing. BTW I just moved nearby so I wanted to try a nail salon near my home. That is the only reason I came here!
I had gone here for the first time this past month because the place I usually go to was booked and I had a set of acrylic nails that I needed removed. Used a nail tip to peel and rip off my existing set (which were for the most part intact with one nail that had a slightly broken tip). I could have done that in the parking lot before I came in. I was flinching in pain and told her it was hurting me and she said sorry but continued to rip my existing set off. She also started using her own nails to dig under the acrylic in order to rip them off. I had also gotten a gel manicure that cost me $45. My nails hurt so badly after and I had the manicure removed the next day. After I paid, the women just stared at me and I was stopped at the door and asked to charge my card a second time to leave a tip. I have never felt more uncomfortable in a salon than this one. Will definitely not be returning.
When filling the water in the foot bath the woman didn’t wait for the water to cover the jet before turning it on and the water came spraying up at me. I am drenched (through my shirt and pants). I tried sticking out the pedicure but being so soaking wet was very uncomfortable, that I asked her to just stop. THEY STILL HAD THE NERVE TO CHARGE ME $20 Because they scrubbed my feet!!! I was appalled to say the least! Worst customer service- I will never come back to Honey Nails
My first time trying this pace out, not bad! I got a dip manicure which came out very nice. Was very quick my nail tech took no more than 35 to 40 minutes. The only thing I would say they could improve on is appointment scheduling and cuticle clean up but I'd definitely go back. Pricing was not bad either.
I took two people and our nails look amazing. We gave them the curiosity of making an appointment. They made sure we were comfortable, happy, and relaxed. While our nails were in the light(we got gel), all of our nail techs asked if we would like a shoulder and back message. Would definitely recommend and go back. ????????????????
The boss lady accepts walk ins despite having appointments which is fine but then she tries to have her appointments come back another time because she overbooked. She’s unprofessional and makes comments like “is the price too much for you?”. Very unprofessional and rude. Won’t be going back here.
I don't hate it, but what I don't like is. I make an appointment they will take whom ever comes in right before me and then I have to wait. I had a 2:00 appointment one day and ended up waiting over an hour for my appointment because she took walk ins right before I came in. I go there all the time with my daughter and my granddaughter too has her nails done. Let's face it 55 for the nails and the Honeymoon pedicure costs 90 bucks. A little loyalty. The place is clean, which is why I still go there. The only person I don't care for to do my nails is the boss lady. Shes the one who will say what tech takes who. She herself is very quick and not good at all. She wants in and out...more money.
