Quick Facts About Icon Nails & Spa
Icon Nails & Spa has several strengths as mentioned in the comments above. One of the strengths is the friendly and welcoming atmosphere of the salon. Customers mentioned that the staff, particularly Sou, was ready to serve them as soon as they walked in and that everyone was friendly. This creates a positive and comfortable environment for customers.
Another strength of Icon Nails & Spa is the skill and talent of their nail technicians. Multiple customers raved about the hand-drawn nail art that Sou can do, which received a lot of compliments. This suggests that the nail technicians at Icon Nails & Spa are skilled at creating beautiful and unique designs for their customers.
The location of Icon Nails & Spa is also mentioned as a strength. It is described as being in a great spot, although no specific details were provided. However, a convenient and easily accessible location can be a strong selling point for a salon.
Additionally, the professionalism and cleanliness of Icon Nails & Spa are mentioned as strengths. Customers mention that the salon is clean and that they appreciate the overall professional atmosphere. This suggests that the salon takes hygiene and cleanliness seriously, which is important in maintaining a good reputation.
Despite these strengths, there are also some weaknesses mentioned in the comments. One customer expressed dissatisfaction with the pricing and charges at Icon Nails & Spa. They mentioned that they were charged for every little thing, including a cut down that they did not receive. This suggests that there may be some inconsistency or confusion regarding the pricing and services offered at the salon.
Another weakness mentioned is the behavior of the owner, Sue. A customer described being treated poorly by Sue when trying to dispute some of the charges. They felt ignored and disrespected by Sue, which could create a negative impression of the salon as a whole. Additionally, the same customer mentioned that the employees were not knowledgeable about the rules and prices, and instead referred customers to Sue. This lack of knowledge among the employees could also contribute to a negative customer experience.
Another customer mentioned that their nails broke shortly after getting them done at Icon Nails & Spa. They expressed frustration with the response they received when they called to address the issue. They felt that their concerns were not taken seriously and that the salon was not honoring their promise to fix the nails. This suggests a lack of customer service and a failure to address and resolve customer complaints.
Overall, Icon Nails & Spa has strengths in its friendly atmosphere, skilled nail technicians, convenient location, and professionalism. However, there are weaknesses in terms of inconsistent pricing, poor customer service from the owner, and a lack of knowledge among the employees. These weaknesses could potentially impact the salon's reputation and customer satisfaction.

I had an appointment and soon as I walked in Sou was ready. Everyone was so friendly. Several people came right in and was served immediately. Sou can do hand drawn art on your nails. I always get a lot of compliments. It's also located in a great spot. If you want clean, professional and style.. this is the place.
First one (blue) 85$ and second one attempted to charge 66$ for THIS BALANCE. They charged me for every little thing and more. They charge me 3 dollars for A cut down which I never got!!! He barely sanded them down and rounded them as They were already that SAME shape I HAD. They charged 7$ bc of the white trim is considered a design also additional for the flower that honestly could live with out it. And other anonymous/ unnecessary charges. So an additional 26$ total was now added. I don’t mind paying 66$ IF ITS WORTH IT. This is not it. The only reason I went here was because of a friend that sees the owner Sue’s husband. She herself said She rarely pays over 55$ for a balance, design and all. She’s a regular and I’ve had the pleasure to meet Tim (I believe I am pronouncing it correctly) he’s the nicest guy. The past two times I went in I didn’t get to see him.
The first experience the guy that did it couldn’t finish my request so I guess they have a person Nicki as the design person and honestly her work is implacable.
The way Sue the owner treated me today was embarrassing and even ignored me as I attempted to explain why I didn’t agree with charges. The person that did my nails was Apologizing and said just ignore her it’s ok.. (about the owner because when he said I am sorry she started speaking in her language) me being fluent in another language myself I could understand him saying … ok ok… like saying ok stop talking it’s embarrassing.
This owner worked across the street where I normally went and they left that nail salon due to undisclosed reason that I it’s not my position to share.
Honestly, if you have your employees working there they should know ALL RULES AND PRICES. When I asked prices both times they both weren’t sure, they just said ask Sue.. she’ll take care of you.. not the case at ALL.
Today she took 10$ because I spoke up. My tone was very reasonable and professional. However, Sue.. how you represented your business disappointed me today. I’ve gone to plenty salons and also worked in fraud for chase to where you guys are asking for everyone’s IDs even regulars that I personally heard her concern on why today.. normally this happens when a lot of people dispute their charges so to back themselves up they make sure to ID. To protect themselves.. nothing wrong with it but just think about it… why ARE PEOPLE DISPUTING?!?
I’d rather go across the street to where they worked before. They are perfection and beautiful ladies and sooo friendly. I tried to support them just because my friend recommended that I should just give them a try.. and of course I love to share my support… unfortunately I cannot and I don’t recommend it.
Ps. This is my very first Google negative review on a company so that should tell a lot.
I can only imagine.
I have one star but honestly I am giving that star to who did my nails. He was such a joy and made me laugh but sadly even him; I noticed his embarrassment to the point he had to apologize multiple times.
I came in for a balance and Sue helped me. She told me the person who put my full acrylic set with tips on, did so incorrectly so she had to remove them and redo them or there was a potential for air to get under the nail and cause fungi. She removed them, did a full set with polish, and told me a helpful tip for dry skin (Vick's Vaporub)! Awesome, all for $50 plus my cash tip. ????
I will never return to this establishment.I paid $80 for this set of nails. The person that did my nails name was TOO. She was very nice but one day after getting my nails done two of them broke down the middle. I returned to get them fixed the following day, the very next day more nails started to break in half not lifting at the base but literally snapping off at the top. When I called about my issues I expressed my concerns to Lana and let her know I wouldn’t be able to come until I returned from vacation she said that when I returned from vacation that someone else could do my nails. Later that day Lana called me back after business hours while on vacation even after I expressed to her that I was on vacation with my family she called me back and told me she was busy at the time we talked earlier that day when she promised to replace my set and that she was not doing my nails and that she wasn’t honoring her original promise to fix my nails I then offered to send pictures she continued to argue with me telling me that she didn’t care what she had said previously she wasn’t the one responsible for my nails breaking and refused to honor her original promise to fix my nails when I returned from vacation. I was shocked by her disregard for what she had previously said. I asked her if I could call when I got back from vacation and that it wasn’t a good time to talk she continued to Argue until I chose to disconnect the call. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone time is too important to have to return multiple days in a row for a well paid for service and the disrespectful way I was spoken to after being offered help with my issue was uncalled for.
I found Nails by Jade a few months ago after having an awful experience at another salon. I have seen Van, Lana & Tran all in the last few months and I'm very pleased with all of them. The salon is clean and the techs are fun & professional.
This was my first time getting acrylic nails and I'm so impressed! Lana did an amazing job, was super helpful with suggestions and very personable. If I lived in columbus I would definitely be a regular with Lana. But I'll take coming back during visits!! Thank you Lana!
Great salon!! Very friendly staff, and eager to please. I highly recommend for your nail and pedicure needs!
A very relaxing experience. I did the dip solution which the nail technician suggested. She was very informative about what I needed to do to help my nails grow back after another salon's gel debacle. Will certainly go back again.
