Kadija Hair Braiding place has received a mix of positive and negative comments, highlighting both strengths and weaknesses of the establishment. In order to analyze these comments and provide a thorough explanation, the strengths and weaknesses of Kadija Hair Braiding will be discussed in detail below.
Starting with the strengths, one comment praises the salon for its "best service ever." The reviewer mentions that those who do not like the place are likely not African and struggle with understanding the local accents. This suggests that the salon provides excellent service to customers who can adapt to the cultural and linguistic differences. Additionally, the commenter mentions that the prices at Kadija Hair Braiding are more affordable compared to other salons in the area, making it a budget-friendly option for hair braiding services.
Another positive review highlights the fact that the salon has been braiding their children's hair for many years and they are pleased with the results. This indicates that the salon has skilled stylists who can create amazing end results. Furthermore, the reviewer states that the staff is accommodating and willing to adjust their braiding technique based on the customer's preferences, emphasizing their customer-oriented approach.
Moving on to the weaknesses, one commenter mentions that a stylist rushed through their hair, resulting in uneven and poorly done braids. This suggests that the salon may have inconsistencies in the quality of service provided by different stylists. Additionally, the reviewer notes that the salon staff was rude, indicating a lack of professionalism and customer service skills.
Another negative comment warns against getting dreadlocks retwisted at the salon, as they allegedly use black gel for the process. This implies that the salon may use low-quality or unsuitable products for certain hair treatments, which could potentially damage the customer's hair. Additionally, the reviewer mentions the rudeness of the staff, indicating a recurring issue with customer service.
The cleanliness and hygiene of the salon are also highlighted as weaknesses in multiple comments. One reviewer describes the salon as "nasty" and mentions hair all over, flies, and unsanitary practices such as a hairdresser sneezing into a customer's hair. These comments raise concerns regarding the cleanliness standards and overall hygiene practices at Kadija Hair Braiding.
In summary, the strengths of Kadija Hair Braiding include affordable pricing, positive reviews from customers who appreciate the cultural experience and accommodating staff, as well as praises for the end results of their hair braiding services. However, the weaknesses of the salon include inconsistencies in service quality, potential use of subpar products, rude staff, and concerns about cleanliness and hygiene. These weaknesses should be addressed in order to improve the overall experience for customers at Kadija Hair Braiding.

Lied about not receiving their Doordash order because they were too fat and lazy to come down and get it
I’m no longer going to Kadija, about a week ago one of the stylists rushed through my hair after looking at the parts they were big and not straight at all, they always used to do a good job but I will not be going back and they’re also rude as well.
Best service ever the people who don’t like this place is because they aren’t African “they speak a lot in there local language” no they don’t they just speak with a heavy Liberian accent and Liberians are very loud and you have to get used to it they have amazing service and hair alot of ppl have to pay 500 for some back length knotless while I pay 200 they only braid ur edges if u don’t tell them you don’t want them out they are amazing and don’t let these weirdos tell you otherwise I definitely recommend this hair salon
Use to be a good shop. A few good stylist now no one ever introduce themselves so you don't know who's doing your hair. Rough on hair and combing.
Don’t ever come here to get your dreads retwisted you definitely regret it when you notice she using black gel to do your hair. And they are very rude here
They have been braiding my children’s hair since they were 14 years old. Yes they do have edges. I always let them know not to braid the hair too tight. They are very accommodating. You just have to let them know your preference. If the stylist is doing the braid to tight you have to let them know right then. I love the way they do hair the end result is amazing.
I live close to the shop, called and asked if they had room for my daughter. They said oh yes, you can do a walk in. It took me 10-15 to get us ready and to get to the shop. We go inside and they ask what we wanted and I said I just called about my daughters hair and the lady was like ohh that was you. I told her we wanted something simple 4 cornrows. They started to talk in their language and then she said oh we are to busy try tomorrow. This place is not clean kids all over, hair all over, flies and it's just gross. We left and I feel like it was a sign from above. DON'T LET THEM TOUCH YOUR DAUGHTER, RUN GIRL RUN!
Save yourself the time. This place is Nasty nasty nasty! This lady sneezed into my hair and continued braiding it. She acted like nothing happened. It was the nastiest thing ever. I was about to throw up.
Avoid this place like a plague.
Very unsanitary.
