It’s a one stop shop everything is there and there’s a beauty salon right there on premises, excellent services provided by Daila check them out.
I really enjoy shopping at Lister Beauty Supply store. It is conveniently located and has an array of items that I need on a regular basis. I just wish they had more skincare items such as cleansers, face masks and treatments.
The cashiers are always friendly and kind. I love the fact that most of the time the lines are short, so I can get in and get out fairly quickly.
Neighborhood convenience, fresh fruit, fresh seafood, offered many items not found elsewhere. Staffs are friendly and professional. Only issue I have is plastic water bottle in front window where it's sunny, Plastic/Heat/Water,
They had what I needed. When I went to the register she asked me if I wanted to pay for a bag and I said no I had a bag. I proceeded to pull my bag out and lay it on the counter then I paid for my goods with my debit card and the whole time she just stood there. She never put my things in a bag. I had to do it myself. Disgusting Behavior. I've called several times to speak to a manager and no one will connect me. I am no longer a customer.
This place is lucky i didn't have or know the option to not give it a single star. My sister her friends and myself all have shopped at Lister, most days anyways. The store has a lot of products however their customer service is terrible. The last two occasions I've been there, the lady I presume to be the owner or manager, shes always there, she made me feel very unwelcome. The first time she followed me around the store as if I was trying to steal something. I'm shocked because I've shopped there before on multiple occasions, I even came there with my sister and was introduced to the owner and her daughter who by the way I went to high school with and she remembers and has acknowledged my face (no problems with the daughter). On the second occasion of feeling unwelcome I dropped a product by mistake and the lady yells out 'OOOOO YOU BROKE IT', for the whole store to hear, I wanted to believe she was joking g but then after I put it back she comes over and inspects not just the one but ALL the products i stood in front of. I was so embarrassed. Everytime I have shopped there I have never spent less than $40.00, and the only time I actually had to return something (the product was already opened I didn't notice it at the time of purchase) of course they couldn't return it. I am frugal but at the same time the price is not worth the attitude. I am sticking to Selena's beauty supply. I've been going there since I was a child and they have never mistreated me. It is a smaller store however if they don't have a product they order it on the spot in front of you. Lister beauty supply will not see me again.
I've been a regular shopper at this beauty supply store since the 1990's when they had a small hair salon in the back of the store MeMes.
Even thought the people has changed I still love the to shop there. It's just a lit more expensive then most other beauty supply store in the Hempstead area.
Lower some of the prices for a greater shopping experience.
