Quick Facts About LowCountry Barbershop - Charleston

LowCountry Barbershop - Charleston Place, like any business, has its strengths and weaknesses. Based on the comments provided, we can evaluate the barbershop to gain a better understanding of its overall reputation.
Starting with the strengths, the barbershop seems to have a loyal customer base. One customer mentions that they have been going there for almost two years and have never received a bad haircut. This suggests that the barbers have consistent skills and can deliver a quality haircut to their clients. Additionally, several comments highlight individual barbers who have provided excellent service. Shiloh and Amber, in particular, are mentioned for their detail-oriented work and fantastic haircuts, respectively. Positive reviews of specific barbers indicate that there are talented and skilled individuals working at LowCountry Barbershop.
Furthermore, the barbershop is commended for its affordability and convenient downtown location. A customer states that you "can't beat this place for the price and convenience." This affordability and convenient location could make LowCountry Barbershop a popular choice among customers looking for a reasonably priced haircut in the area.
In terms of weaknesses, there are a few negative comments that raise concerns. One customer had a bad experience with a stylist using the same comb on their hair and then brushing her own hair. This unhygienic practice undermines the professionalism of the barbershop and raises questions about their overall cleanliness. Another negative comment mentions rude behavior from the staff. A customer states that they were treated poorly by a barber, who seemed to want them gone before even starting the haircut. This kind of behavior can leave a negative impression on customers and may discourage them from returning.
Additionally, there is some inconsistency in the quality of service mentioned in the comments. While some customers praise the barbers for their exceptional skills, others express disappointment with their haircuts. One person states that the barbershop is only recommended for children's haircuts, suggesting that their expertise may be limited to specific styles or age groups. This inconsistency in quality raises concerns about the overall skill level of the barbers at LowCountry Barbershop.
In conclusion, LowCountry Barbershop - Charleston Place has its strengths and weaknesses. The barbershop is appreciated for its loyal customer base, skilled individual barbers, affordability, and convenient downtown location. However, there are concerns regarding issues of cleanliness, inconsistent quality of service, and poor customer experiences. These weaknesses may need to be addressed to enhance the overall reputation and customer satisfaction at LowCountry Barbershop.

Best TL Reviews

Honestly just a bad haircut. The first time i went the person cutting my hair was running a comb through my hair and then looked in the mirror, brushed her hair with the same comb she was using on me and then continued to brush my hair. I gave it a second chance and the haircut was just bad .if you need a child's hair cut i recommend it. Otherwise, probably not a good idea
I've been incredibly impressed by the barbers here, particularly Shiloh. She is very detail oriented and has given me some fantastic haircuts. Her work is extraordinary.
I stopped in for the first time today and lucked out getting Amber. She gave me the best cut I've had in a very long time...and it didn't break the bank. Thanks, Amber!
Came here this morning for a quick trim from a barber named Brandon. It is without a doubt the best haircut I've gotten in the last ten years. He was thoughtful and meticulous. I couldn't be happier. If you have the chance, go see him.
I've been going here for almost 2 years, I've had multiple barbers cut my hair. I have to say that I've never received a bad haircut from here! You can't beat this place for the price and convenience of the downtown location.
Ms. Heather was great! Quick, clean, and nice services
I had driven by this spot for years. I brought my boyfriend for a cut (before an appointment we had downtown) because his old spot closed during Covid. They were so rude. We still have no idea why. The lady that cut his hair acted like they wanted us gone before he even sat down in the chair. She greeted us and then went outside to smoke a cigarette before sitting him down in the chair. We were on time, there was only one other customer there and two other employees, and my boyfriend was only getting a trim.
I will never go back to this place.
Beautiful open floor concept. The cut and experience felt professional, but without the price tag. Came in around 10a on a Friday and waited 20 minutes. Not too bad! Cathy did a great job with my hair! Highly recommend her services.
