Quick Facts About Lucky Star Nails
Lucky Star Nails Place, based on the comments provided, seems to have several strengths and weaknesses that can be analyzed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the establishment.
Starting with the strengths, Lucky Star Nails Place seems to have a reasonable price range. One customer mentioned paying $114 plus a tip for a pedicure for two people, which suggests that their services are affordable for many individuals. Affordability can be an attractive aspect for customers who are looking to maintain their nails regularly without breaking the bank.
In addition, Lucky Star Nails Place appears to offer a variety of options and services. Commenters mentioned different pedicure and manicure options, which indicates that customers have choices when it comes to the type and price range of services they want. Having a range of options can be beneficial for clients who prefer personalized services tailored to their specific needs and preferences.
However, despite these strengths, the weaknesses of Lucky Star Nails Place seem to overshadow them. A recurring complaint from customers is the poor quality of service. Many commenters mention that the technicians did not listen to their requests or performed the service poorly, leading to dissatisfaction. This lack of attention to customer preferences and the quality of service provided can be a significant weakness for any nail salon, as clients rely on technicians to meet their expectations and deliver excellent results.
Another prevalent weakness mentioned by the commenters is the unprofessional behavior displayed by the technicians. Multiple customers complained about the employees speaking in their own language during the service, which made them feel uncomfortable and excluded. Moreover, engaging in disrespectful and unprofessional behavior, such as laughing at customers or mocking their requests, can create a negative and unwelcoming atmosphere. Professionalism is crucial in creating a positive experience and maintaining customer loyalty.
Furthermore, hygiene and cleanliness are major concerns for the customers who visited Lucky Star Nails Place. Several comments highlighted instances of unclean and unsanitary conditions, such as grungy waxing rooms and employees not washing their hands. Issues like these can raise concerns about the overall cleanliness and hygiene practices of the establishment, making it difficult for customers to trust the salon and their ability to provide a safe and healthy environment.
Moreover, multiple comments referred to the poor skill and technique of the technicians at Lucky Star Nails Place. Customers mentioned issues like sloppy painting, bumpy and thick acrylic nails, and painful removal of old tips. These complaints point to a lack of expertise and attention to detail, which are crucial components of a successful nail salon. Customers visit nail salons for professional and precise services, and when these expectations are not met, it can lead to disappointment and negative reviews.
Lastly, a common complaint from the commenters was the pushy behavior of the technicians, who added additional services without the customer's consent or attempted to increase the price after the service had begun. This pressure to upsell can make customers feel uncomfortable and distrustful of the technicians' intentions. It is important for a nail salon to create a transparent and honest environment where customers feel valued and their choices are respected.
In conclusion, while Lucky Star Nails Place may have some strengths like affordable prices and a range of service options, the weaknesses mentioned in the comments overshadow these positive aspects. The recurring complaints about poor service quality, unprofessional behavior, uncleanliness, lack of expertise, and pushy behavior indicate significant areas for improvement. It is crucial for the establishment to address these weaknesses if they want to attract and retain satisfied customers.

hey maggie
I won’t go back. They were rude and did a half a** job. I paid 114 + tip for a pedicure for my sister and I. I asked for something specifically to be done..nothing major just add a tip to my pinky toe because it’s so small (they’ve done it in the past). You would’ve thought I asked for blood. The paint peeled the very NEXT day that’s how cheap the polish is.
Bad service!! I asked for the 2 first pictures and they did something completely different and the 3rd pictures is what they gave me. They didn’t listen to what I wanted, and did whatever they wanted to do.
I used their service to go relax before the year came in and when I say it’s an understatement when I say so unprofessional and I’m surprised it’s has 3 stars. The two ladies doing myself and my wife feet laughed and talked the entire time while performing our service and not to mention spoke in their language the whole time so I can only imagine what they was saying. After paying for our service I asked to use the restroom and she stated that the restroom wasn’t in use today and her and another lady burst out laughing but a child was coming out the restroom at that time. If my money is good enough for your service then why isn’t your restroom. Very disrespectful. I wish I could’ve gave them zero stars.
asked for coffin nails and ended up with almost almond nails. The paint job was sloppy, the acrylic nails were so bumpy & thick. It’s day 3 & the paint is chipping. very judgmental people running this nail shop.
I picked the type and price of pedicure/manicure I wanted at the beginning and a little while later she put my hands in bags with wax without my permission and then said now it's $65!! Very pushy..
Not sanitary. The waxing room was grungy and the woman was touching her feet when I walked in and did not wash her hands before service. Disgusting.
This place is the reason I will continue to do my nails at home. DEPLORABLE customer service. I asked for a simple pointed almond acrylic manicure with tips. The technician made no attempt to soak my old tips off and instead opted to PRY them off, thereby ripping the top layers off each of my nails. My nail beds were so thin they hurt for 2 days after my "manicure" On top of that, the shaping, colors, and application were sloppy and when I pointed out issues he argued with me instead of fixing it. The best part though was when I tried to point out the incorrect shaping on my ring finger. Instead of fixing the issue the woman (who seemed to be in charge as the person who did my nails went outside to smoke right after "finishing" my nails) used her FINGER to push the polish down. Overall, one of the absolute worst experiences I've ever had at a nail salon.
Oh, and I was charged for a set removal which I found quite laughable considering how the technician just ripped my nail beds off.
Do. NOT. Go. Here.
