I had Eugene as my nail tech. He wasn’t overly talkative or forcing small talk which I actually like. He was patient with me and gentle which I appreciated. It was my first time here and I would definitely come back. It’s tucked away in the plaza next to party fair but inside it’s bright, clean and quiet. The only thing negative I would say is they don’t have a large selection of polish like most places but they do a really nice job and I didn’t feel rushed.
Sam does amazing nails! She has great attention to detail and is very nice! She has done my gel manicures and my gel refills and I always love them
Beautiful shop nice ladies but they cannot do nails!! This was the most expensive full set I’ve ever got and the worse I ever had! I had to go there the next day for them to redo my nails because they were horrible. They wasn’t dry even though it was gel polish, they started to peel the next day even after they redid them, they were still horribly done, don’t recommend going to this salon at all but the ladies are nice $70 for a full set 30 for a pedicure for them to be charging these type of prices and they can not do nails. They’re not professional at all is so ridiculous to me and I do feel robbed out of my money.
My first experience at this salon and I should have never come. When I called, I specifically asked for a fresh acrylic set. Mid application I was THEN told THEY DO NOT do acrylic nails and I would be responsible for $70. A woman did my nails who was very nice but during the application my nail beds were on fire after multiple attempts of filing. I’ve never felt such pain in my life!
What went wrong: I requested for coffin shape and instead got almond. Several of my nails are crooked and lopsided. Bubbles are in the nails.
I went on a Wednesday and by Thursday and Saturday I lost TWO NAILS. Obviously anyone would be annoyed after I paid $70 plus $10 tip.
I called Saturday as soon as it happened and was told I couldn’t come to the shop because they were busy but to wait for Monday.
I showed up on Monday and had both nails replaced. Which also ended up lopsided and a piece of the woman’s hair is embedded into my nail. The thumb that was fixed….. the gel product they used is literally glued to my finger. As I get up. I’m immediately approached by (I’m assuming the owner) requesting me to pay. I explained to her that these weren’t my fault why should I pay. She THEN proceeded to go back and forth with me. Then realized she was wrong for it. THEN THIS WOMAN told me I should still tip them because they took time to fix my nail.
With all due respect, I just tipped someone last time I went there. Why should I be forced to tip again. Not only did I waste gas and my time to come back. She legit harassed me for a tip.
I will NEVER EVER go back to this tacky salon. Save your money and time. I should have known it was a problem. They overbook ppl and rush. Not worth it
Amazing experience for my 87 year old mom with her FIRST pedicure! Mom wouldn’t dare ever show her bunions before today- she enjoyed every minute of it- thanks Maria!
I had Sam as my technician. I asked for dip nails and they didn’t have much selection, which was fine! I decided to go with black anyways. I asked her twice during the service if she will fix my thumb, and she answered “I’m not done yet!” With some attitude. I told her I’m just asking because I have had experiences at other place where they let me leave with nails that aren’t the best. At that point, I was like okay, I guess I will wait until the end. I could tell her demeanor completely changed towards me and it seemed like she was rushing. She was picking up multiple calls in between to schedule appointments. Towards the end, she started saying how she couldn’t believe people let me leave with bad nails and that she wouldn’t do that, and asking me my age as well. I was like, well, $40 is expensive so you know you want to make sure you get what you paid for and it’s done well. At this point, she started going on about how every thing is expensive nowadays, so $40 is not expensive (it is though lol). At the end, I just wanted to leave. As you can see from my picture, the thumb is definitely not even as well as some other nails and the under nails are still filled with nail polish/nail residue. When you leave a place you should leave feeling like your money is well spent or that you received good treatment. It was pretty disappointing and I still tipped her $6.
First time coming here since I was in the area at my boyfriends, I had Sam tonight she was so sweet and helpful! She did such a beautiful job with my nails I would definitely come back when I’m in the area again:)
If you have a design that you like and want, do not go here they like to tell you what you should and should not get. They made me feel very awkward and that the design I chose was RIDICULOUS, when it wasn’t it just required the nail tech to take some more time and I was willing To pay. Plenty of other nail salons to go to, recommend going to those. Also they were so rude and then didn’t even offer to join the rewards program and charged more than was initially mentioned. It’s a shame because just moved near the area and needed a new nail salon… this is not it!
